parents of their child behaviors and give them tools for
them to meet their needs

help you work more effectively with your child
 It will foster positive development and will improve

the outcome of your child.

developmental delay is eligible for intervention
services
 The child will receive an individual family service plan

 This plan is made uniquely for the child and their
family
 The family will also get support and training to work
effectively with their child
 When working with children that have autism it’s

important to create a daily routine they greatly benefit
children with autism
 It’s also important to give fewer choices when working

with children with autism
 During transitions use commands of executions to cue

transitions and preparatory commands
