3. When animals hibernate, they spend the winter in a deep sleep. Ex: Animals hibernate to get through the winter without much food. When you experience something, you do, see or are a part of something. Ex: Bears experience winter by hibernating in caves. 4. If something is cozy, it is warm, comfortable, and snug. Ex: The kittens felt cozy in a little basket. When the sky is clear, it is bright and not cloudy. Ex: Flying a kite is fun on a clear day.
