Notes de l'éditeur
We at DSS strive to use only the best equipment available. For this reason we have chosen to use Glock for our firearms needs and Taser International as our Taser manufacturer. Both of these companies are market leaders and have products in use around the world. We also provide our agents with pepergel from Mace, a company who has been producing pepper sprays and gels for over 40 years.
In order to ensure that all of our employees are able to react properly to a situation we require them to take training classes along with periodical requalification tests. During these training programs we attempt to build on what the employee already knows. We also include training in the legal maters that we have mentioned previously
The situation in Brazil presents a challenge when it comes to equipment. As we have seen in the risk assessment of Brazil, it has regions are very dangerous that require the use of specialized equipment. For this reason we have made the decision that while in Brazil all agents with be required to carry both a duty and back up firearm. We will also require that our personnel to carry three cans of Mace, as opposed to the one can we require in other parts of Latin America. We will also supply our agents with a larger can of Mace that will be used while in transit.
