Arrival
Arrival at Cochin International Airport. Check – in to a hotel. Kochi,
often known
as the Queen of the Arabian Sea, is believed to be the finest
natural harbour in
the world. The pretty city was built initially by the Portuguese,
then Dutch and
later the British, shoulder to shoulder with the Kochi Maharajas.

6. Day 2
Kochi
Enjoy the day with local sightseeing of Kochi. Places of interest
include St. Francis

nets and stroll through

7. Day 3
Transfer to Munnar (140kms / 4.5 hours)
Departure to Munnar. On arrival, check – in to a hotel. Munnar
is one of the finest
hill stations in the Western Ghats renowned for tranquil
settings and serene spots.
Tea plantations, forest reserves, hills, winding roads, all add to
the charm of
the beautiful Munnar. Places of interest include the famous
Iravikulam National

8. Day 4
Munnar
Spend the day with local sightseeing in Munnar. Places of

Transfer to Thekkady (112 kms / 3.5hours)
Off to Thekkady by road. On arrival, check – in to a hotel.
Thekkady is home to
the Periyar National Park which is also famous as a Tiger
reserve. The park encompasses
26 sq. kms of area and has a cool and comfortable climate.
There is an artificial
lake on which you can take a boat ride to have glimpses of wild
life on both the
sides. You can also go for trekking and mountain walks or visit
spice plantations.

10. Day 6
Transfer to Kumarakom (122 kms / 3 hours)
Off to Kumarakom in the morning. Check – in to a hotel. After
noon, you can pay
a visit to the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary which is home to some

11. Day 7
Houseboat
Check – in to a house boat at 12:00 hrs from Kumarakom. Enjoy

Transfer to Kovalam (176 kms / 5 hours)
Cruise through the canal to reach jetty in the morning. Check –

Trivandrum
