4. Kaleidoscope … Persuaded as Miss Bingley was that Darcy admired Elizabeth, this was not the best method of recommending herself; but angry people are not always wise; and in seeing him at last look somewhat nettled, she had all the success she expected. He was resolutely silent, however, and, from a determination of making him speak, she continued… Pride and Prejudice In a few minutes it really did seem as if kind spirits had been at work there. Hannah, who had carried wood, made a fire, andstopped up the broken panes with old hats and her own cloak. Mrs.March gave the mother tea and gruel, and comforted her with promisesof help, while she dressed the little baby as tenderly as if it hadbeen her own. The girls meantime spread the table, set the childrenround the fire, and fed them like so many hungry birds, laughing, talking, and trying to understand the funny broken English. Little Women Ours is essentially a tragic age, so we refuse to take it tragically. The cataclysm has happened, we are among the ruins, we start to build up new little habitats, to have new little hopes. Notes de l'éditeur
The site will basically allow people to play with texts of well known classic literature books. In a similar way as the kaleidoscope allows creating a new combination of forms each time somebody moves the toy, the site will allow to create new random combinations of text.
These combinations will be based on the selection of key sentences of the books. The site invites people to experience the recreational sense of taking a content that is already known and "play" with that, likewise playing with a kaleidoscope of endless combinations.
