I am “Brompty” the folding bike.
It was in the 1990s
when I rolled into the life of
my owner George.
It was in the north of Stuttgart,
where Porsche, Mercedes and
Audi/NSU cars were built.
My biker George was fascinated
from the very beginning
by my appearance and qualities.
I am famous for being small
and easy to handle.
I am easy going and light weighted
with my 13 kilograms.
I am constructed for transporting
bags or backpacks as well.
Here I am on my way from Munich-Schwabing
to Munich main station
passing by the museum area and

one of my owner‘s favorites

In those days I was accepted
in express trains only with cover wrap.
Here I am invisible
in my cover wrap
Just arrived at the Intercity Express ICE starting soon to the north

I am ready to be brought inside and to find my place in the ICE
Nowadays I can go inside uncovered
and I am accepted just as I am
and free of charge.
I find my place
just behind the seat

After a project
meeting in Bonn, we
had a stop over visit
in Cologne. Little
Frederik was eager
to ride on his own
way - standing up,
steering and just
happy.
So I was happy, too
to be on the
playground my self.
I am Brompty the happy bike on the children‘s playground

After a long trip by express train
I like to roll home through parks
and alleys e.g. passing by the „red
circle“ close to the main station and
near the „Old Botanical Garden“
- it is relaxing, easy going, as well
as healthy and comfortable for my
owner George.
I am small and half folded,
and the red circle
is really huge
- more than 10 m I guess.

I am looking for a space
to stay. I find it nearby ....

This small and very light lock
is the perfect solution to feel
protected at day time. Now
my owner can relax as well,
sitting on a bank.
... at the right hand side.
But me and my owner
we can be relaxed only
if I am well protected.
As I am light weighted myself
I prefer a light look.
It is sufficient at day time.
