2006/10-2009/12 optics design engineer and senior optics design engineer| R&D center (OA)
Working function:
1. Responsible for optical design, verification. Such as optical specification assessment, select (suitable) material for LC, POL, glass,
touch panel and CF material, set the parameters of cell processes. And also do some failure analysis about optical issues.
2. Be familiar with LC, CF, Polarizer, glass and can complete the product design using different source of material.
3. Be familiar with optical design software and can use it to do simulated design.
4. Can use some optical measurement equipment in practice and also be familiar with the optics design method, verification
process and the NPI processes.
5. Audit supplier manufacture line before new material will be qualified.
6. Create the optical design rule. Color design for CF. color resist platform and new supplier development. Optics design for new
technique such as ECB、VA and so on.
Main projects:
Out sourcing LCD:lead the optical design and verification for 2.0",3.5",4.3",7"
Home-made LCD: lead the optical design and verification for 3.5"QVGA,7"SVGA
Significant contribution:
1. Create the optical design rule for TIANMA Company.
2. Color design for CF and color resist platform
3. New supplier development.
4. Optics design for new technique such as ECB、VA and so on .
5. Manage and be responsible for the training for rets-1200 (optical equipment) and DIMOS (optical design software).
6. Lead and manage the small and medium size screen team from the year of 2009.
2010.1~2012.5 Technical Specialist | Technical Platform department
Working function:
For the common and complicated technical issues in LED products, do some theoretical analysis and experimental verification to find t he
root cause or preventive action. And give some technical support for new product design.
Main projects and significant contribution:
1. Technical platform for Gamma cpk, image sticking and cross talk about TFT-LCD products.
2. Technical platform for image sticking and cross talk about ASG+IPS products.
3. For the big issue in manufacture line and customer complain, give some technical support to related department.
4. Lead some technical training to other departments.
2012.6~2015.4 Technical Specialist| Technical integration department
Working function:
Lead the new technology research in one to two years in future. And gather experience to R&D team for new product design.
Main projects and significant contribution:
1. Optical design and verify for some projects such as 5.0"HD,5.0"FHD(RGBW);5.0"SFT and 5.3"TN and chromaticity
assessment for ZhongHang (subsidiary corporation of TIANMA) projects.
2. Trouble shooting for the big defect and provide the corrective action for below case.
1) Create the irregular MURA corrective platform for ZHONGHANG 3.0TN (SUMSUNG project). Analyze the factors such as
film formation, exposure, etch and rubbing processes to determine the corrective direction.
2) Cross color issue analysis
3. New material research
1) Low-reflective material platform. Contain low reflective solution using Tape Lamination (using double layer LR coating
between LENS and panel. Reduce the surface reflectance according to Full Lamination +AR coating on LENS. Contrast Ratio
test between reflective rate and room light.
2) Negative LC leading-in.
3) Low reflective Pol verification.
4. Technical platform
1) On cell performance corrective platform: simulate the accuracy for the touch property and verify that. To verify the
influence to touch property from different materials such as air gap,cover lens, POL and negative POL .
2) Technology platform for thin cell warp.
3) High NTSC technical platform. New R, G and pink LED backlight matched the high color gamut CF can work out
NTSC100% LCD.
5. Mechanical design and verification.
