The peninsula has been an important centre of the
Wester civilization for two thousand years. Art, culture
and history are the main assets of our country. The very
same alphabet we all use has its origins in Rome.

start, and is uniquely rich in archeologic
findings in Tuscany where Etruscan tombs are
precious treasures rich of hints and information
on everyday life, Latium, where the Romans
have left so many work of art and buildings, and
in the South, where ancient Greeks have seen
the development of Magna Graecia.
