Each week we spend close to loads of time preparing for and delivering content for webinars, events and proposal meetings. With such an investment of time and energy it's imperative that we re-purpose our research and efforts to reach more audiences and have more of an impact in our marketplace.

I wanted to chat with you today about slideshare.net. Most of you are aware of blogs, YouTube, gotomeeting as ways to share content but I am often surprised how many people are not aware of slideshare.net and what a powerful tool it can be.You can share PowerPoint's, documents, PDF’s & embed YouTube videosYou can also embed the slideshare viewer on your website similar to the way you would your YouTube Channel
You know the drill, create your branded corporate page just like you would for any other social platform
Upload your presentations, and if appropriate embed a relevant YouTube video. We embed the recording of the webinar from YouTube into the power point just before the question slide.Make sure you have contact information your slides and in your descriptions. Add links to your website in the descriptions as well.

Slideshare creates a transcript of the presentation and runs it under the powerpoint – google indexes this content
A free account gives a basic understanding of the use of your content. The Pro account digs deeper and provides more information.
With a slideshare pro account for $20.00/ month you can also get lead generation features . . . We have added this form to appear after slide 10. It is not mandatory but you can make it mandatory. We have generated maybe a dozen leads in the last few months. Not a huge lead generator.
Last week were very lucky to have our Navigating Google Analytics presentation go viral . . . It got moved to the home page of slideshare.net as recommended top pro content and in 20 hours we generated 34,426 views of our presentation. So remember the numbers I gave you at the beginning of the webinar how the content has created 3,100 views . . . . Make that 37,500 views . . . Pretty cool!
The more the content is published and indexed the more it can help you gain position in the SERPs, drive traffic, build brand and attract prospects and clients.
