This presentation will show why
and how I would use these and
what the impact would be on my
classroom and district.

Where learning happens…
What is it?
 Edmodo is taking the
classroom and connecting it
to the students with digital
applications.
 This is a way for the students
to turn in homework be
reminded of what is coming
up, share projects, see
grades.
 They are able to access
documents I would have
uploaded onto the site.
How I can use it…..
 I can create quizzes for them
to take.
 I can have book clubs where
the students can discuss the
book.
 Store documents for them to
access and keep resources for
them to use.
 I can post assignments for
those that missed the work or
for those that might need more
directions.

4. WHAT IS IT?
 Remind101 provides a safe way for
teachers to text message students
and stay in touch with parents for
free.
 Teachers use
remind101.com, from their own
phone app to send texts to
students and parents phones
without ever having to share their
own phone number.
 Students and parents also never
have to share their phone number
with teachers. Ever.

HOW I CAN USE IT…
 I can remind students of upcoming
assignments as tests.
 I can let parents know what is
happening in their childs
classroom.
 I can let parents know of upcoming
events at the school or things that
may have happened to cause
cancellations at the school.
 I can let students know if I am
going to be out and what I expect
of them at school that day.
