4. Students invited a teacher to honor at the event. Here elementary
teacher Cinda Current is the honored guest.
5. A teacher’s impact lives on after retirement! Former Farmington
teacher Jim Hoey is the honored guest.
6. Broadcasting teacher Mark Toutge helped to plant a seed for a
student’s passion for television production.
7. FHS Counselor Barbara Walker provided helpful guidance
to this high achieving student.
8. A student even invited her Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Titusdahl.
9. Then it was on to the Recital Hall for the presentation of awards
including over $40,000 in scholarship money.
10. Michael and Summer Jothen and son James presented the Aaron Jothen
Memorial Scholarship. The award was named in honor of their young
son who died of cancer prior to being schoolage.
11. Janet Lekson from Dakota Electric presented
FHS seniors with $1000 scholarships.
12. District Transportation provider Marschall Line was also amongst the local businesses
who showed strong support for students at the event.
13. The event marked the first ever presentation of the
Louis Schmitz Memorial Scholarship.
