Epps Island Elementary Technology Action Plan
Mission Statement Epps Island Elementary is committed to the belief that every student can achieve excellence regardless of ethnicities or socioeconomic background and that each student will develop intellectually, physically, and socially to become productive members of the community and global citizens of the 21st century world.

Objective All teachers will create a 21st century context for learning and students will see the value and relevance of new skills and knowledge.
Classroom Teachers Responsible for integrating technology within instruction. Responsible for creating lesson plans that integrate technology within instruction. Responsible for  budgeting for technology  and overseeing  whole school technology integration overseeing  whole school  technology integration netStartClass Gaggle Compass Learning  Odyssey Campus Webmaster  Support Ed Tech web site and  Kleinet site Oversees STaR chart assessment,  Responsible for ensuring technology integrated in  lesson plans,  Ensures technology fully utilized In classrooms The primary duty of a teacher serving as a  Technology and Learning   Team Leader ( TL2 ) is to  assure that all teachers on their grade  level/departmental team work together in  planning instruction  that   addresses  the Technology Applications TEKS standards  for all students in grades K through 8. in  addition, all Klein ISD librarians will be a  part of the TL2 team. Technology Action Plan Computer program generated data, Principal’s Observation, Student performance on state, district, and campus assessments, TEACHSCAPE data IEP’s (For Special Education Students), Lesson plans, Computer program login, Walkthroughs, TEACHSCAPE Principal, Campus TAKS Specialist, Math and Language Arts Instructional Specialists, Special Education Teachers, TL2’s, Classroom Teachers January 4, 2010-Ongoing Integrate student performance data from district/state assessments instruments with electronic curriculum resources to differentiate instructions for every child Number of training sessions offered, Principal’s Observation of the use of instructional strategies that are tied to needs identified by the data, TEACHSCAPE Data PLC Binders, Sign-In sheets, TEACHSCAPE  Campus Principal, Campus TAKS Specialist, Math and Language Arts Instructional Specialists, District Instructional Specialists January 4, 2010-January 4, 2011 Provide extensive training on the use and analysis of student mastery of TEKS and other data sources and the resulting instructional implications Student success on statewide accountability testing, benchmarks administered every third week Lesson Plans, Performance Indicators from campus based assessments and district based assessments Campus Principal, Campus TAKS Specialist, Math and Language Arts Instructional Specialists, Classroom Teachers January 4, 2010-January 4, 2011 Use data from District Data management system to assess student academic needs and to develop appropriate student instructional strategies.
