temple in the world. It is located in Y, a
village situated on the bank of
the Mahanadi, 23 km south
of Sambalpur in the Indian state of Orissa.
The temple is dedicated to
the Hindu god Shiva.

2010, winning India’s toughest rally, the Raid De
Himalaya, in an incredible first attempt. He then
went on to bag 9th position in the World Cross
Country Championship, which is like a proving
ground for future Dakar participants.
Riding a KTM 450 bike supported by Red Bull, he
finished overall 36th among 79 finishers out of 168
who started the gruelling event here Jan 5 at the
Dakar. He is the first Indian to participate in Dakar
and also able to complete the Dakar rally.
