4. Behavior Plan/Reinforcement
• Expectations: Respect!!! Responsibility!!!
• Your children have agreed on the rules of the
classroom which can be found on the back wall.
They also devised a constitution which reflects
their expectations of themselves as learners
• Behavior Chart / Behavior Reflections
• Gray=above and beyond behavior.
• Green=daily expected respect and responsibility
• Yellow=After a couple of warnings unexpected
behavior continues
• Red=Unexpected behavior continues-note home
5. Cafeteria
• Lunchtime provides a necessary time for
students to socialize. It is each student’s
individual responsibility to make choices that
are respectful of self and others.
• Quick, quiet signals such as clapping out a
rhythm or a chant will be used by TAs to signal
students that voice volume is not appropriate.
• Silent periods will be used in brief periods of
no more than 3-5 minutes when necessary
