Tim Burton s Alice In Wonderland
Tim Burton s Alice in Wonderland gives a unique twist on Lewis Carroll s classic novel. In the
film an almost adult Alice is having trouble fitting into normal society. After being proposed to she
falls down the rabbit hole and ends up in Wonderland. The majority of the film is Alice running
through wonderland trying to figure out if she is the right Alice to slay the Jabberwocky. Along the
way she learns a lot about herself though her friend s advice and actions.
One of the first things we see Alice do in this movie is go against social norms. She refused to
wear tights and says, Sometimes being prim and proper isn t correct for everyone. This is
apparent when she arrived at the party she stood out like a sore thumb since she was the only
one wearing blue. We can take this idea and apply it to lots of things, for example: being athletic
isn t for everyone, or playing chess isn t for everyone. No one can do everything because we re all
gifted in different ways. Alice is a dreamer she can see past reality, and into impossible things.
One of thing Alice learns is that life can be much more muchier. This means life can be more than
your daily routine, that there is something special about life. The Mad Hatter tells Alice at one point
during the film that she has lost her muchness. We... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I love originals and hate it when people try to re film them and proceed to change them
completely. I what made this movie different was that it wasn t a retelling of the story but a
continuation of it. I thought it was cool to see how Wonderland had changed since Alice s first
visit. The visuals in this film were stunning. Tim Burton is a master at making an environment
whimsical yet dark and twisted. This darkness Tim Burton added to the film really brought out a
side of wonderland that wasn t there before. All in all it was a fantastic film that was visually
beautiful and full of wonderful lessons to take to

Themes In Dead Poets Society
In the Dead Poet s Society the racial, class, and gender identities of the characters are singular.
The boys in the movie attend an all male boarding school in which all the students are Caucasian.
In addition, the boys seem to come from wealthy families that can afford to send their boys to such
a prestigious boarding school. This monolithic starting point provides an opportunity for issues to
develop as cracks in the conservative façade.
Mr. Perry, Neil s father claims to come from a lower class upbringing and is obsessed with giving
his son opportunities that cost money such as medical school, Harvard, and the Welton Academy.
Mr. Perry s behavior, along with the conservative Academy and its repressive headmaster, echo and
the documentary of the McLean(VA) high schoolviewed in class. The documentary illustrated the
differences between a wealthy and poorer school. Taken together, these sources lead me to
believe that there is an enormous emphasis placed on class and wealth by the characters in the
movie. The boys in the movie are privileged for their ease of access to great education. None of
the boys in the movie work for the school or have jobs to pay for their schooling at the prestigious
Welton Academy which prepares them intensely for the best colleges available.
The boys in the movie may be privileged but the older generation, represented by, Headmaster
Nolan, and Mr. Keating, seem to have the greatest power and influence of any characters in the
movie.

Community Policing Defined
Community policing
Community policing is defined as a philosophy that promotes organizational strategies, which
support the systematic use of partnerships and problem solving techniques, to proactively address
the immediate conditions that give rise to public safety issues such as crime, social disorder, and
fear of crime according to the U.S. Department of Justice. (U. S. Department of Justice). In other
words the main goal of community policing is the allocation of various police agencies/staff to
particular areas around the community so they become familiar with its inhabitants and lifestyle.
This style of policing attempts to modify the department through a system called de
bureaucratization and has four major goals to meet. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Assigning key officers to permanent locations, Chicago officers could gain greater knowledge
of the community problems and how to solve them responsibly. Community policing displays
the basic elements of policing and it has some helped shape recent policing strategies such as
Problem Oriented Policing and Zero Tolerance Policing. The most important obvious difference
from other policing strategies is that it represents a major change in the basic role of a police
officer. Traditionally police officers were used to only fight crime, with community policing it
broaden their role to order maintenance, conflict resolution and social and physical disorders
within the home. Problem oriented policing main focus is based on law, order and fear
problems. Unlike Community policing, POP opts that officers should address particular problems
and develop creative responses to each one. Instead of a crime fighter image officers under the
POP ideology function as problem solvers, planners, and community advocates. POP and
Community Policing are very similar in their police tactics however, the newly accepted Zero
tolerance Policy is very different. It is characterized by interventions that aggressively enforce
criminal/civil laws and that are conducted for the purpose of restoring order to communities. This
theory believes through harsh and aggressive enforcement of laws, crime will cause the community
to be more inclined to care which will

Antony And Cleopatra Comparison Analysis
In Antony and Cleopatra, Shakespeare shifts from praising Antony as a great warrior to
condemning him by depicting the gradual decline of his honor and image in order to show his
inner battle between reason and emotion. This is an apparent theme in both the book and the
play, though there might be some small differences, both shows how this inner battle defeats
him and leaves Cleopatra with most of the power. One thing that I noticed is that Cleopatra
seemed far more regal in the book than in the play. For example, in the book when Antony wants
Scarus to kiss her favoring hand (205), he makes it sound like a big honor that he is able to do
this. In addition, the way he describes her makes me imagine that it is a regal and important
moment. In the play, however she does a little dance after he kisses her hand, which to me
seemed like she was acting inappropriately and taking away the importance of the moment. It is
almost as if she was undermining what the warrior had done. She made what should have been a
serious and honorable moment and turned it into a joke. Even though Antony loves Cleopatra
his rational side takes over when he decides to marry Octavia in order to show his loyalty to
Rome. He knows that his duty is to Rome and it is where he is supposed to be and the people of
Rome are not happy about all of the time he has been spending in Egypt. To fix this and mend their
bond Antony agrees to marry Caesar s sister Octavia. This mend is shown when Caesar says that the

Junk Food Vs Fast Food
For decades in the United States, big meat companies, fast food chains, and all types of media has
brainwashed Americans to believe that meat heavy diets are the healthy options for humans. Not
only have thousands studies proved this idea false, but they affect so many other factors such as
the environment, undocumented workers, and most importantly our health. In the last few years,
more and more people have shifted to a vegan or a plant based diet, and those who tell their stories
talk about how much of a positive impact it makes on their day to day life, and their overall health.
Trying to convince the majority of the United States to switch to not eating meatis not capable at
this time, but one person at a time is a good start.
Humans have been eating animals their entire life without considering they don t need it, or that it

which is most, is a group 1 carcinogen. A carcinogen is a substance that promotes the formation of
any type of cancer. Animal products, including dairy and eggs, contain cholesterol and saturated
fats which contribute to heart disease, diabetes, cancers and many more life taking diseases. 45

Output hardware is components of or devices linked to a computer, which allow the computer to
transfer information to another computer system or the user of a computer system (Kroenke
pg74). This output hardware sends information in the form of images, sound, or various other
tangible imagery usually, to some form of input hardware on another system. It is not designed
to receive data only to send. The most familiar of these devices is the visual display or computer
monitor. These monitors are usually synonymous with a computer and every system is equipped
with or able to connect to a Visual Display Unit. Projectors, audio systems, printers, and faxes are
all examples of output hardware. Microsoft Corporation in their endeavors to enhance everyone s
life with the aid of computing software has developed output hardware for the blind or visually
challenged. Windows also offers a function such as video narrator, that provides audio
descriptions of videos (http://Windows.Microsoft.com). In addition to these components windows
is compatible with numerous other programs and hardware components that are designed to
enhance the lives of those who are blind or visually impaired. More recently Microsoft has also
included Braille output devises and other hardware components in their product lines. For a quick

The Beginning of Tattoos
When Did Tattoos Begin? Tattoos are not a new fad that grew over night. Tattooing has been a
form of art that people have used to communicate with for ages. Whether it is a family crest, a
butterfly, or a zodiac sign, all tattoos have meaning in which someone can tell a story. The history
of tattoos goes as far back as the first people who roamed this Earth. Tattoos have been around for
so long that no historian or archaeologist can precisely trace back to when and where tattooing
began.
From the Beginning of Time In Archaeologists Jarrett Lobell and Eric Powell s study of tattoos,
Ancient Tattoos, they make the case that ...body arthas been a meaningful form of expression
throughout the ages and across the world (41). Lobell and Powell have studied body modifications
on ancient artifacts and mummies all over the world, such as, Italy, Egypt, and Oceania.
Depending on the time and geographic location that these body modifications were given, they
could have a number of meanings, such as, ...adornment, status symbol, or declaration of religious
belief (Lobell and Powell 41). Since the art of tattooing has been around for over a great number of
years, it would be quite difficult to pinpoint exactly where the very first tattoo was given and what
the meaning behind it was. One of the earliest forms of tattoos was traced back to 3500 3100 B.C.,
which included charcoal that was rubbed into small incisions in the skin. This early form of
tattooing was found on Г–tzi the Iceman,

We Pay More Attention To Men s Health

Diversion Programs In Juvenile Corrections
The need of diversion programs in juvenile correctional settings is on an increase. Two conflicting
impulses dominate the desire to decrease the number of reoffending juveniles. The first is a
compassionate approach that concentrates on treating the youth whereas the second approach uses
punishment to protect their focus, which is community safety (Artello, Hayes, Muschert, Spencer,
2015). It is important to note that not all individuals are impacted in the same way therefore many
approaches aimed towards assisting the youth within the justice system exist. Due to the

Fight Club Consumerism Analysis
David Fincher s Fight Club is praised by fans and critics alike as one of the most impactful
representation of society in film. The film follows Jack, the narrator and main character, as he
teams up with a newfound acquaintance named Tyler Durden to form an underground fight club
for men who are bored of their mundane lives(Fincher 1999). As Durden becomes more of a
dominant personality, Fight Club evolves to Project Mayhem, multi celled secret society of
oppressed gray collar workers whose purpose is to battle the modern culture of
consumerism(Fincher 1999). The movie is often discussed by people due to its representation of the
modern manand consumeristic society. In Fight Club, the modern man is described as a white
collar slave who... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This causes a sense of powerlessness and a lack of sense of accomplishments as the workers are
fulfilling goals of others and not for themselves. The first rule of Fight Club is: you do not speak
about Fight Club. The second rule of Fight Club is: you do not speak about Fight Club! (Fincher
1999). This rule is used as unity for the group of men involved to create their own counterculture.
Counterculture is defined cultural patterns that strongly oppose those widely accepted within a
society(Macionis,2002:49). As Fight Club progresses and the relationships of the men grows, the
group evolves to a Project Mayhem, a rebellious group to fight consumeristic culture through
terroristic actions, such as public bombing(Fincher 1999). The group they created helps these
men cope with the role strain they have experience as grey collar workers. Through Violence,
both with fist and weapons, The people in project Mayhem causes chaos in white collar society.
This common mission finally gives the members the meaning in their lives they craved so much.
We are all part of the same compost heap, Tyler Durden announces over the loudspeaker to his
fellow project mayhem members(Fincher 1999). This statement by Durden represents the
foundation of an In group We are all in this together . In Group is defined as a social group toward

Introduction
The relationship between Export Processing Zones (EPZs) and globalization, Neoliberalism,
global governing institutions and the 1980s debt crisis has attracted a lot of debate in the
economic circles. It is widely believed that EPZs have helped in the development of the
globalization project. Economists believe that the rise and growth of EPZs was enabled by the
neoliberal strategies that global governing institutions such as the World Bankand the IMF
instituted after the 1980s debt crisis in Latin America. In his book titled Development and Social
Change , McMichael deals with critical events that led to globalization. These include Neoliberalism
, the debt crisis and the rise of export processing zones. This paper will investigate these
interrelationships and conclude that there is a key relationship between EPZ and the globalization
project, and the rise and growth of the EPZ with the neoliberal actions of key global governing
institutions especially after the 1980s debt crisis.
EPZ and the Growth of the Globalization Project. Globalization is the process through which the
world is becoming increasingly interconnected due to massive increase in cultural exchanges and
trade. It has increased production of services and goods and their movement from one part of the
world to another. Due to globalization, companies now operate in multiple countries. There is freer

The Poem
Samuel Johnson s The Vanity of Human Wishes imitates, as its subtitle states, Juvenal s tenth satire.
The 368 lines of iambic pentameter in rhymed couplets do not claim to provide an exact translation
but rather to apply the poem to eighteenth century England. While Johnson therefore feels free to
modernize the allusions, he follows his model closely. The poem opens with the proposition that
people ask for the wrong things and points out the folly of the first common request, riches. An
interlude follows during which the poet invokes ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This avian imagery is more explicit earlier in the poem when he describes Rebellion s vengeful
talons [that seize] on Laud (line 168).
Johnson constructs his argument through synecdoche, offering a few examples to stand for the
infinite number of wishes one might make. So, too, the few people cited suggest the many others
the reader can imagine.
Preferring the general to the specific, Johnson finds synecdoche a convenient device for
description. He does not paint a beautiful face but offers rosy lips and radiant eyes (line 323). The
gifts of nature are suggested by The fruits autumnal, and the vernal flower (line 262).
Personification abounds from the first line, in which Observation surveys humankind, to the last:
Wisdom calms the mind/ And makes the happiness she does not find (lines 367 368). Hope, fear,
desire, and hate spread their snares. Preferment has a gate, History speaks, Pride and Prudence
take her [Virtue s] seat in vain (line 336). Like synecdoche, this device keeps the poem at the
level of general truth that the author seeks. As he would write a decade later in The History of
Rasselas, Prince of Abyssinia (1759), The business of the poet...is to examine, not the individual
but the species; to remark general properties and large appearances. Much of the poem s power
derives from the strong verbs that

The Role Of The Hero s Journey In Star Wars
The hero s journey is an ongoing concept used in many tales which involves a hero who goes on
an adventure, wins a victory, and then comes home changed or transformed. In the society that we
live in, the hero becomes a hero by attaining in what they believe in for the good of others. Among
the numerous tales which the hero s journey is utilized there are some that stand out more
compared to others. Star Warswhich is an extremely popular film known by many which clearly
demonstrates the hero s journey. The hero in this film is known as Luke Skywalkerwhom goes
through all the ordeals and comes out as a hero.
The hero s journey is comprised of 12 steps in which the protagonist must complete in order to be
known as a hero . The first step is known as the Ordinary World which is where the hero exists
before his present story begins. In Star Wars, Luke s story begins on the desert planet of
Tatooine, where he is just a simple farmer working with his family. Although this is where Luke
s world starts off the journey really begins for him when he experiences his Call to Action . In Luke
s case this was when he finds a message stored in R2 D2 from Princess Leia a high ranking leader

Ice Cube ( O Shea Jackson
Gangsta rap originated in the late 1980 s. Ice Cube (O Shea Jackson) of the rap group NWA
(Niggaz with Attitude) wrote the song Gangsta Gangsta, and it shocked America with its violent,
sexist, and obscene lyrics. Gangsta Gangsta ushered in a new genre of hip hop music called
gangsta rap, which became identified with Compton, a predominately black and Latino working
class and working poor neighborhood in Los Angeles . Many people did not agree with the sexist
and indecent lyrics in gangsta rap even though the lyrics were telling the story of many people who
lived in this reality.
Gangsta rap acted as an outlet so such people could express themselves angrily and not in fear
that they were going to be silenced for telling the truth. They often used gangsta rap to tell the
stories of their lives, which sometimes included strong violence, hypersexuality, and drug abuse.
This music style was new and different. Gangsta rap was authentic and helped tell a story with its
deep lyrics. During the 1990s, Republican and Democratic politicians and some black leaders
blamed, not all hip hop music, but gangsta rap for all of the black communities social problems:
drug use, teenage pregnancy, unemployment, gang violence, and high school dropouts. Even
though these problems existed in the black community prior to gangsta rap, this music and culture
has provided a convenient target to avoid addressing the causes of the real problems of black
America: racism, sexism, and poverty .

Negative Leadership Behavior Essay
For my example of a negative leadership behavior I have encountered, I am going to use an
example from my current position, and will therefore mask certain details to protect all involved.
However, I assure you the pertinent facts are here and are not embellished.
The experience: Unfortunately I cannot pinpoint just one example, as this has been an ongoing
problem for me. In a nutshell, my direct supervisor, who has a reactive personality, has a
tendency to view all situations with an attitude of how does this make me look good or bad, or
why should I have to deal with this. A situation will arise, namely someone requesting funds from
our office, and her response will be to fly off the handle when I ask her how I should respond. ...

specifically justice, judgment, dependability, tact, integrity, unselfishness, courage, and loyalty. You
may note that I wrote (seemingly) obligatory above. This is because her statements don t ring true

honesty.
Additionally, her use of legitimate and expert powers, without referent power, actually makes me
call into question the reality of her reward power (helping me achieve my goals). I have to
wonder what she is thinking when her message clearly does not set an example, or establish esprit

Recommendation for strengthening leadership behavior: In this instance, I must say she would do
well to remember that a key factor of leadership is communication (Clark, Big Dog Little Dog s

it. In the examples

Describe The Main Functions Of The Trachea
The nose and the nasal cavity form the main external opening for air to come through. The air that
comes through is warmed and filtered by the mucus.
The mouth is the secondary external opening for the respiratory tract. It does not have the hair and
sticky mucus that filter air passing through the nasal cavity but its shorter distance and bigger space
allows more air to quickly enter the body.
The nasal cavity is a hollow space within the nose and skull that is lined with hairs and mucus
membrane. The nasal cavity warms, moisturizes, and filters air that enters the body. Hairs and
mucus inside the nasal cavity also help to trap dust before it enters the body.
The air that we breathe in through the nose or mouth, travels through the larynx, down the
windpipe, and then into the lungs. The larynx contains muscle called vocal cords. When we try to
speak, the cords come together, and vibrate as we breathe out. This is what gives us our voice. ...

Ernest Rutherford Accomplishments
Ernest Rutherford is often ascribed as the greatest and most respectable experimental scientist,
second to none. His unparalleled success is attributed to his revolutionary work regarding but not
limited to the atom. Rutherford s ingenuity and dexterity was able to alter our insight of nature
three remarkable times. He first set laws on radioactive decay, explaining it as the spontaneous

Rutherford speculated, quite rightly, that the power of the atom was infinitely higher than the
energy bonding it together. Prior to World War I, he commented that he didn t think the power of
the atom could ever be efficiently extracted, but hoped that ways of achieving this would not be
determined before the world was at peace. Unfortunately, for many, controlled nuclear fission was
made possible just two years after Rutherford s death, and the rest, well, is history. The world,
however, owes a great deal to Ernest Rutherford and his discoveries. Today, the scienceof physics
has propelled to new heights. In France and Switzerland, scientists at CERN (the European
Organization for Nuclear Research) are in the process of venturing with the world s largest
particle accelerator, called the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), to unlock some of the last
mysteries of particle physics the existence of substances such as dark matter, dark energy, and
something called Higgs Boson. Suffice to say, the LHC is an underground tunnel, circular in
nature, with a circumference of about 27km. The basic idea is to send beams of protons in
opposite directions into one another, having them collide at almost the speed of light and
observing what happens. Scientists are hoping to find evidence that verifies their standard model
of particle physics. Rutherford s greatest contribution to the development of Science is of course
his model of the atom. The Japanese scientist Hantaro Nagaoka had developed a similar model six
years before Rutherford, but because it went against the teachings of classical electrodynamics it
had not been taken seriously. However, Rutherford was such a differential figure, and had verified
the concept with more concrete proof and calculations, hence earning the title Father of nuclear
physics . Although his theory was modified by

Views of Karl Marx and John Stuart Mill Essay examples
None of the supposed rights of man go beyond the egoistic man, man as he is a member of civil
society; that is, an individual separated from the community, withdrawn into himself, wholly
preoccupied with his private interests and acting in accordance with his private caprice.
Karl Marx, On the Jewish Question
The only freedom which deserves the name, is that of pursuing our own good in our own way, so
long as we do not attempt to deprive others of theirs, or impede their efforts to obtain it.
John Stuart Mill, On Liberty

The real truth, however, falls somewhere between these two poles.
Mill on the Individual
Mill wastes no time in articulating the central thesis of On Liberty; he states, Over himself, over
his own body and mind, the individual is sovereign (69). Mill, then, does not make the individual
more important than society, but he separates the individual from society and articulates a realm of
existence in which society, or the community, should have no power over the individual. Mill
states, The sole end for which mankind are warranted, individually or collectively, in interfering
with the liberty of action of any of their number is self protectionВ…His own good, either physical
or moral, is not a sufficient warrant (68). Society, therefore, has no right to intervene in the private
life of any person, unless they act in such a way that prevents others from enjoying their own rights.
Mill is extremely clear as to why the individual should be sovereign over his or her body and
mindВ—to counter the effects of a possible tyranny of the majority. Mill states, It (the majority)
practices a social tyranny more formidable than many kinds of political oppression, since, though
not usually upheld by such extreme penalties, it leaves fewer means of escape, penetrating much
more deeply into the details of life, and enslaving the soul itself (63).

Accounting Luncheon
2.Clarify the misconstrued actions involved in the Accounting Luncheon and co worker rapport as
stated by Ms. Pancake.
In early December, the accounting team were scheduled to have a luncheon at Ibby s. Two days
prior to the event, a calendar invite had been sent to its attendants. Due to my shy nature, I had not
accepted the invitation, but unbeknownst to me, the attendance was required because, as the time
approached, Mr. Rackers asked me to prepare to leave with them. In candor, I was not comfortable
with nor interested in having lunch in such a setting, and worse, my co worker, Mr. Whittaker was
battling a severe cold that I was trying not to contract during this event.
Unfortunately, I do acknowledge the statement of my lagging behind from the rest of the team.
However, it was due to cramping from my previous ab workout at the gym, and it was painful to
move at a faster pace. I didn t want to burden anyone with my issues, and thus, did not disclose it.
Mr. Rackers had patiently awaited my arrival to the building while everyone else had gone ahead.
We then proceeded to meet the others who were still waiting to be seated.
After waiting to be seated, the manager from Etta s arrived, and shortly thereafter, we were then

Why Is It Important To Have Salary Caps In Professional...
Money is limited. One can only buy what one has enough for. People must be efficient with their
money. One must fill all of their needs. Similar to this situation, owners of professional sports
teams can only buy players they have enough money for. Salary caps are placed on players based
on skill level and value. This could be based off of various influences such as location, fan base,
concessions sold, and much more. When some teams get more money than others, those teams get
stacked with great players that lead the teams to victory. However, some complain that they don t
have a lot of money, and state that that is the reason they don t have a good team. Therefore, the
issue of salary caps, has two sides. Although salary caps could be abused... Show more content on

Athletes in professional sports get paid a lot of money to play for famous teams. Because they
want more money, they are motivated to play better. When they do play better, they get more
money. For example, rookies, players that are new to the game, aren t paid much. However, they
want more money to support their life, so they practice more and train to be much more skilled.
Coaches then realize they will soon want more money as the years go by. Athletes practice with
their team every week, and do the drills that the coaches pick to do. If players don t get better
from this, they need to practice on their own time. It s up to the execution from the athletes
(Neiburg). This shows that athletes must be self motivated. Most of them are, when they aren t
paid much. Most veteran athletes that are already skilled have a high payroll because of salary
caps. Since it is usually cap prohibitive to release a player that gets a significant signing bonus
with this model, some teams are willing to include roster bonuses due in the first couple of days
of the second contract year (Corry). This illustrates that salary caps don t allow players to be
released right away. So, the player will get more practice with the team, and have more chances
after a bad season or two. Even if a player eventually does get released, they wouldn t be happy,
but they d be self motivated to practice as much as they can to get back on a team. Critics of this
idea say that the only way players got into a professional sports league is because they are
skilled, and already practiced a lot. Teams are also only looking for skilled players in certain
positions they need. However, the reason teams need new players in those positions is because the
players that are already in those positions have weaknesses. Since there isn t any signing bonus
proration, teams have more cap

Examples Of Surveillance In George Orwell s 1984
Surveillance in George Orwell s 1984 is extreme, but there are some very real parallels to today s
life. Telescreens and hidden microphones are just a couple of examples of 1984 s controlling
technology. The ideas depicted by author George Orwell s dystopian society are becoming more
real every day. Telescreens were literally and thematically the biggest piece of surveillance
technology in 1984. They were large screens that took in as much information as they put out.
They were massive and could look over an entire room. A telescreen could record video of a person
and also record sound, transmitting the recordings presumably to thought police to be monitored.
They could hear anything above a soft whisper and they could see anything in

Essay on Celiac
Origin of the name/history of the disease
The name celiac comes from coeliac which is derived from the Greek Koilia, which means belly.
The coeliac flux is an old expression meaning the same as diarrhea. The disease celiac is not just
diarrhea though it just means that the disease pertains to the abdomen.
The celiac disease comes from early farmers and hunters. But because the wheat and grain of the
crops and fields did not have high levels of gluten they were not exposed to the disease very often.
Those who were infected would contract other diseases due to excessive defense. The disease did
not hit hard until industrial quantities of gluten ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Celiac is the most common disease in Europe. In Italy 1 in 250 people have celiac and in Ireland
about 1 in 300 people have it. About 1 in 4,700 people in America have Celiac. This is uncommon
since Americans are descendants of Europeans. Red Cross had a recent study in which they took
random blood samples and tested them for Celiac. The study suggested that 1 in 250 Americans
have celiac, which shows that Americans are extremely under diagnosed.
Phenotypes/diagnosing the disorder
There are such a vast variety of symptoms in celiac that it can be very hard to diagnose. Symptoms
may or may not be in the abdomen. One person can have diarrhea or abdominal pain while another
has irritability and depression. Irritability is the most common symptom in children. Some
symptoms of the disease are:
Г Recurring abdominal bloating and pain
Г Chronic Diarrhea
Г Weight loss
Г Pale foul smelling stool
Г Unexplained low red blood cell count
Г Gas
Г Bone pain

A Research Study On Mining Water
Here in the U.S mining uses 4,020 million gallons per day, out of that 4 million + gallons 86% of it
comes from surface and groundwater. To put this in percpective if you were a swimming pool
builder and a customer asked you to build a pool that would hold 3.5 million gallons you would
need to build a pool about 950 feet long (almost as long as 3 football fields), 175 feet wide, and 10
feet deep. That s a lot of water!
Mining water is water used for the extraction of minerals that may be in the form of solids, such
as iron, coal, gravel and sand or liquids, such as crude petroleum and natural gas. Mining
withdrawals are considered self supplied water as freshwater or saline water. A recent study here in
the U.S revealed withdrawals from ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Nevada, Florida, Ohio, Arizona, and Pennsylvania accounted for 52 percent of fresh groundwater
withdrawals. Oil and gas operations in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Wyoming and California were
responsible for the large saline groundwater withdrawals in those states because saline water is a
byproduct of mining operations. The use of water in mining has the potential and has been known
to affect the quality of surrounding surface water and groundwater. In response to environmental
concerns and government regulations, the mining industry worldwide increasingly monitors water
discharged from mine sites and has implemented a number of management strategies to prevent
water pollution. One such strategy is the use of remote sensing to assess impact of mining activities
on land and water resources.
Environmental impact assessment is now an integral part of mining operations. Remote sensing
data enables the identification, delineating, and monitoring of pollution sources and affected areas
including changes in surface land use and to water bodies. Using high resolution satellite remote
sensing data and state of the art GIS techniques (geographical information system is a system
designed to capture, store, manipulate, analyze, manage, and present all types of spatial or

The thin bands are generally young with spiral arms, young stars, giant molecular clouds
(University of Cambridge, 2014). The thick band is older since it has stars with a lower
metallicity. Given the study done in Chile, there were several conclusions made. First, that the
thin disk stars all had similar metallicity even though there ages spanned over 8 billion years.
Second, that stars older than 9 billion years had a very low metallicity, and this was described as
a steep decline (University of Cambridge, 2014). However, given these two conclusions, the study
also found that there are stars that are young with a low metallicity as well, meaning that the study
is not completely cut and dry, so to speak. There is no distinguishable evidence that would allow
researchers to definitely conclude the existence of a thin and thick disk or the creation of the Milky
Way from the inside out.
The study produced generalities, and whether or not these generalities are the absolute truth,
scientists are hesitant to rely solely on the results from the Gaia Eso Survey. Granted, over the
next few years, researchers are eager to use the Gaia Eso survey to further their observations and
study of the Milky Way, and they are hopeful to come to a conclusion about how the Milky Way
was created, rather than just relying on theories of the Milky Way overcoming smaller galaxies.

My Church Context At New Creation Ame Church Essay
During my examination of my church context at New Creation AME Church, I have determined
that I will explore the topic of Restart Churches . In my current context, the church has been in
existence for twenty years, with no physical church home. Given the history, dwindling membership
and financial issues, I would classify this churchas a Restart Church. Restarts are churches that
fall into two categories; those that are either failing, or have failed and those that have assessed
that restarting or starting over is the only way to invigorate their church plant or ministry in a
way that will thrive and become viable. The term restart covers the gamut of churches a majority
of which are small, and in a declining phase of ministry or stuck in the mire of inertia with little
or no church growth. A Restart Church is comparable to rebooting your computer. If you
experience a problem with your personal computer and the screen freezes or locks, you just
press Alt, Ctrl Delete and your computer will soon restart. Restarting a church process is a very
arduous, time consuming process that involves many varying factors that play a part in how long
it will take to get moving and become active. Dr. Aubrey Malphurs, Senior Professor of
Educational Ministries and Leadership and Pastoral Ministry at Dallas Theological Seminary,
estimates that 30 to 40 % of churches will close their doors after the first few years. An Estimated
55,000 churches will cease operations from 2005

Essay about Online Education Versus Traditional Education
With high speed internet available to potential students of all economic levels, schools are opting to
implement online classes into their traditional teaching curriculum. As a result, our society is
divided in two different ways of thinking on the education. Some believe the modern method is
better than the traditional method of teaching. Personally, I believe both methods should balance
one another instead of attempting to substitute one another; this way their purpose of educating
will be far more successful.

International, online education ultimate goal, is to provide learning experiences that are more
tailored to individual students than is possible in classrooms. That enables more learning by doing,
which many students find more engaging and useful.
However, advocates of classroom learning believe the online method isolates the students from one
another as well as their professor minimizing the overall value of taking the course. They also claim
that students learn better when working together with their instructor and their fellow classmates.
Students learn better when they are given the opportunity to ask questions, join in class
discussions, and they move the process of learning forward through their participation. Face to face
advocates firmly believe that this kind of interaction is not possible over the Internet; and for many
types of education, e learning will never meet the potential of live human interaction in the

Examples Of Revenge Tragedy In Hamlet
A lot of Shakespeare s plays allude to revenge and revenge tragedy. Revenge tragedy is seeking
revenge for wrongdoings done against someone in a literary work. Usually, the person seeking this
revenge is the protagonist and the plot is usually developed throughout their journey to get their
rightful revenge. Revenge tragedy is also the central conflict within a literary work. In the play,
Hamlet,Young Fortinbras, and Laertes are all examples of revenge tragedy. Hamlet ironically isn

Hamlet refrained from killing his own mother, thereby demonstrating Shakespeare s greater
respect for the rules of manner proper to Persons . (Grazia 2003) This philosophical criticism
used provides an understanding to the meaning of the work because it clearly displays the
stance Shakespeare had when it came to philosophy and morals and this could be seen
throughout Hamlet as well. Shakespeare is more able to get his meaning and message of his
literary work Hamlet over to the readers by describing their psyche and their subconscious
thoughts, as seen with Hamlet several times. Psychoanalytic criticism is the idea that literary
text express the private unconscious desires of the author as well as their inner psyche or
persona. Shakespeare constructs Hamlet to be a very psychoanalytic character. The literary text
of Hamlet s thoughts tie to his desires and grievances. In the work, Hamlet tells his father that he
will fulfill his father s wishes and get revenge on Claudius, his uncle. This brings upon the idea
of Paternity(his father s wishes) against law as well as religion. The destress that Shakespeare
painted Hamlet to be in(or the literary text) may describe why there was so much friction between
Hamlet following up on his father s wishes. Psychoanalysis is a way to describe one s
subconscious state of mind. Hamlet s fervid, divinizing praise of his

The beginnings and ends of what we choose to call centuries are almost invariably years of little
significance. But there is little agreement over when the twentieth century c.e. arrived, and there
were several points both before the year 2000 (the collapse of the Soviet Union, the reunification
of Germany, the surge of globalization from the mid 1990s) and afterward (9/11, or the global
recession of 2008) when one could quite plausibly argue that a new era had begun. A compelling
case can be made for viewing the decades of the global scramble for colonies after 1870 as a
predictable culmination of the long nineteenth century, which was ushered in by the industrial and
political revolutions of the late 1700s. But at the same time, without serious attention to the
processes and misguided policies that led to decades of agrarian and industrial depression from the
late 1860s to the 1890s, as well as the social tensions and political rivalries that generated and were
in turn fed by imperialist expansionism, one cannot begin to comprehend the causes and
consequences of the Great War that began in 1914. That conflict determined the contours of the

that were clearly major departures from those that defined the nineteenth century world order. On

Flaws In Othello Essay
Research Essay: Othello by William Shakespeare
Was Othello a victim of circumstances or his own flaws? by Alijaeh Go 9B4 First performed in the
court of King James I on November 1 1604, The Tragedy of Othello: The Moor of Venice was
written by William Shakespeare between 1601 and 1604. The basic premise of the play is the
protagonist s (Othello s) marriage with the daughter of the senator, Desdemona: Their marriage,
unfortunately, is sabotaged by the envious Iago, insinuating to Othello of his wife s alleged
infidelity. The play reaches its climactic peak when the general s jealousy vows to exact bloody

Iago s schemes come into fruition when the noble Moor smothers his wife to death: The play
spirals further downhill with most of the cast either dead, severely injured or in Iago s case, on the
process to be tortured. Based from this summary, a mere observer would conclude that the reason
for Othello s downfall is his hamartia his incessant jealousy that caused for his rash actions.

Colors are around us and can describe different meanings. When colors are part of an image,
painting or sculpture, however, why do certain colors use and others are not. Monet chose certain
colors to portray different feelings, mood and makes one think. In Patricia Stokes s article
Variability, Constraints, and Creativity explained during her investigation, she decides to
investigate Monet s creativity and separate them into three phases. In phase one, it involved value
and wrote: The wheel, which broke up the light into the four primary hues and their
intermediaries, prompted Monet s initial and initially ill defined goal constraint. In his earlier
painting called Mouth of the Seine at Honfleur (1865), he used earth colors, raw umber, burnt
sienna, and blacks. After he stopped using browns and earth color and later black as well. For
Sunrise (1873), he used the colors yellow, orange, blue, green and brown. What I found interesting
is that he muted the colors so the painting looks dull. Even so orange pops with the muted blue
because they are complementary colors that perceive soothing or balance in the painting.
Paintings that have textures that can be smooth and flat or have tooth and be lumpy which can

movie was great because it showed all the facets of war and illustrated the emotions involved in
war. It began with really gory scenes at Omaha Beach as part of the Normandy Invasion during
World War II; This wasn t my favorite part, but it s a real part of war so it was important that
they included it. As the movie continued, it went on to display the bond that occurs when men
fight together in combat and the tough decisions that have to be made during the course of a
war. This movie took place during World War II, specifically during D Day, in France. The
movie follows Captain John H. Miller and a squad of seven men as they search for a

encounter other squads of U.S. troops and come across some German troops as well. We also find
that Captain Miller must also make hard decisions not only for the good of his squad but

  • 2. Tim Burton s Alice In Wonderland Tim Burton s Alice in Wonderland gives a unique twist on Lewis Carroll s classic novel. In the film an almost adult Alice is having trouble fitting into normal society. After being proposed to she falls down the rabbit hole and ends up in Wonderland. The majority of the film is Alice running through wonderland trying to figure out if she is the right Alice to slay the Jabberwocky. Along the way she learns a lot about herself though her friend s advice and actions. One of the first things we see Alice do in this movie is go against social norms. She refused to wear tights and says, Sometimes being prim and proper isn t correct for everyone. This is apparent when she arrived at the party she stood out like a sore thumb since she was the only one wearing blue. We can take this idea and apply it to lots of things, for example: being athletic isn t for everyone, or playing chess isn t for everyone. No one can do everything because we re all gifted in different ways. Alice is a dreamer she can see past reality, and into impossible things. One of thing Alice learns is that life can be much more muchier. This means life can be more than your daily routine, that there is something special about life. The Mad Hatter tells Alice at one point during the film that she has lost her muchness. We... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... I love originals and hate it when people try to re film them and proceed to change them completely. I what made this movie different was that it wasn t a retelling of the story but a continuation of it. I thought it was cool to see how Wonderland had changed since Alice s first visit. The visuals in this film were stunning. Tim Burton is a master at making an environment whimsical yet dark and twisted. This darkness Tim Burton added to the film really brought out a side of wonderland that wasn t there before. All in all it was a fantastic film that was visually beautiful and full of wonderful lessons to take to ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Themes In Dead Poets Society In the Dead Poet s Society the racial, class, and gender identities of the characters are singular. The boys in the movie attend an all male boarding school in which all the students are Caucasian. In addition, the boys seem to come from wealthy families that can afford to send their boys to such a prestigious boarding school. This monolithic starting point provides an opportunity for issues to develop as cracks in the conservative faГ§ade. Mr. Perry, Neil s father claims to come from a lower class upbringing and is obsessed with giving his son opportunities that cost money such as medical school, Harvard, and the Welton Academy. Mr. Perry s behavior, along with the conservative Academy and its repressive headmaster, echo and the documentary of the McLean(VA) high schoolviewed in class. The documentary illustrated the differences between a wealthy and poorer school. Taken together, these sources lead me to believe that there is an enormous emphasis placed on class and wealth by the characters in the movie. The boys in the movie are privileged for their ease of access to great education. None of the boys in the movie work for the school or have jobs to pay for their schooling at the prestigious Welton Academy which prepares them intensely for the best colleges available. The boys in the movie may be privileged but the older generation, represented by, Headmaster Nolan, and Mr. Keating, seem to have the greatest power and influence of any characters in the movie. ... Community Policing Defined Community policing Community policing is defined as a philosophy that promotes organizational strategies, which support the systematic use of partnerships and problem solving techniques, to proactively address the immediate conditions that give rise to public safety issues such as crime, social disorder, and fear of crime according to the U.S. Department of Justice. (U. S. Department of Justice). In other words the main goal of community policing is the allocation of various police agencies/staff to particular areas around the community so they become familiar with its inhabitants and lifestyle. This style of policing attempts to modify the department through a system called de bureaucratization and has four major goals to meet. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Assigning key officers to permanent locations, Chicago officers could gain greater knowledge of the community problems and how to solve them responsibly. Community policing displays the basic elements of policing and it has some helped shape recent policing strategies such as Problem Oriented Policing and Zero Tolerance Policing. The most important obvious difference from other policing strategies is that it represents a major change in the basic role of a police officer. Traditionally police officers were used to only fight crime, with community policing it broaden their role to order maintenance, conflict resolution and social and physical disorders within the home. Problem oriented policing main focus is based on law, order and fear problems. Unlike Community policing, POP opts that officers should address particular problems and develop creative responses to each one. Instead of a crime fighter image officers under the POP ideology function as problem solvers, planners, and community advocates. POP and Community Policing are very similar in their police tactics however, the newly accepted Zero tolerance Policy is very different. It is characterized by interventions that aggressively enforce criminal/civil laws and that are conducted for the purpose of restoring order to communities. • 5. Antony And Cleopatra Comparison Analysis In Antony and Cleopatra, Shakespeare shifts from praising Antony as a great warrior to condemning him by depicting the gradual decline of his honor and image in order to show his inner battle between reason and emotion. This is an apparent theme in both the book and the play, though there might be some small differences, both shows how this inner battle defeats him and leaves Cleopatra with most of the power. One thing that I noticed is that Cleopatra seemed far more regal in the book than in the play. For example, in the book when Antony wants Scarus to kiss her favoring hand (205), he makes it sound like a big honor that he is able to do this. In addition, the way he describes her makes me imagine that it is a regal and important moment. In the play, however she does a little dance after he kisses her hand, which to me seemed like she was acting inappropriately and taking away the importance of the moment. It is almost as if she was undermining what the warrior had done. She made what should have been a serious and honorable moment and turned it into a joke. Even though Antony loves Cleopatra his rational side takes over when he decides to marry Octavia in order to show his loyalty to Rome. He knows that his duty is to Rome and it is where he is supposed to be and the people of Rome are not happy about all of the time he has been spending in Egypt. To fix this and mend their bond Antony agrees to marry Caesar s sister Octavia. This mend is shown when Caesar says that the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The Relationship Between Export Processing Zones Export Processing Zones Name Institution Date Introduction The relationship between Export Processing Zones (EPZs) and globalization, Neoliberalism, global governing institutions and the 1980s debt crisis has attracted a lot of debate in the economic circles. It is widely believed that EPZs have helped in the development of the globalization project. Economists believe that the rise and growth of EPZs was enabled by the neoliberal strategies that global governing institutions such as the World Bankand the IMF instituted after the 1980s debt crisis in Latin America. In his book titled Development and Social Change , McMichael deals with critical events that led to globalization. These include Neoliberalism , the debt crisis and the rise of export processing zones. This paper will investigate these interrelationships and conclude that there is a key relationship between EPZ and the globalization project, and the rise and growth of the EPZ with the neoliberal actions of key global governing institutions especially after the 1980s debt crisis. The 368 lines of iambic pentameter in rhymed couplets do not claim to provide an exact translation but rather to apply the poem to eighteenth century England. While Johnson therefore feels free to modernize the allusions, he follows his model closely. Johnson constructs his argument through synecdoche, offering a few examples to stand for the infinite number of wishes one might make. So, too, the few people cited suggest the many others the reader can imagine. Preferring the general to the specific, Johnson finds synecdoche a convenient device for description. He does not paint a beautiful face but offers rosy lips and radiant eyes (line 323). The gifts of nature are suggested by The fruits autumnal, and the vernal flower (line 262). Ice Cube (O Shea Jackson) of the rap group NWA (Niggaz with Attitude) wrote the song Gangsta Gangsta, and it shocked America with its violent, sexist, and obscene lyrics. Gangsta Gangsta ushered in a new genre of hip hop music called gangsta rap, which became identified with Compton, a predominately black and Latino working class and working poor neighborhood in Los Angeles . Many people did not agree with the sexist and indecent lyrics in gangsta rap even though the lyrics were telling the story of many people who lived in this reality. Gangsta rap acted as an outlet so such people could express themselves angrily and not in fear that they were going to be silenced for telling the truth. They often used gangsta rap to tell the stories of their lives, which sometimes included strong violence, hypersexuality, and drug abuse. This music style was new and different. Gangsta rap was authentic and helped tell a story with its deep lyrics. During the 1990s, Republican and Democratic politicians and some black leaders blamed, not all hip hop music, but gangsta rap for all of the black communities social problems: drug use, teenage pregnancy, unemployment, gang violence, and high school dropouts. The air that comes through is warmed and filtered by the mucus. The mouth is the secondary external opening for the respiratory tract. It does not have the hair and sticky mucus that filter air passing through the nasal cavity but its shorter distance and bigger space allows more air to quickly enter the body. The nasal cavity is a hollow space within the nose and skull that is lined with hairs and mucus membrane. The nasal cavity warms, moisturizes, and filters air that enters the body. Hairs and mucus inside the nasal cavity also help to trap dust before it enters the body. The air that we breathe in through the nose or mouth, travels through the larynx, down the windpipe, and then into the lungs. The larynx contains muscle called vocal cords. His unparalleled success is attributed to his revolutionary work regarding but not limited to the atom. Prior to World War I, he commented that he didn t think the power of the atom could ever be efficiently extracted, but hoped that ways of achieving this would not be determined before the world was at peace. Unfortunately, for many, controlled nuclear fission was made possible just two years after Rutherford s death, and the rest, well, is history. The world, however, owes a great deal to Ernest Rutherford and his discoveries. Today, the scienceof physics has propelled to new heights. In France and Switzerland, scientists at CERN (the European Organization for Nuclear Research) are in the process of venturing with the world s largest particle accelerator, called the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), to unlock some of the last mysteries of particle physics the existence of substances such as dark matter, dark energy, and something called Higgs Boson. Suffice to say, the LHC is an underground tunnel, circular in nature, with a circumference of about 27km. The basic idea is to send beams of protons in opposite directions into one another, having them collide at almost the speed of light and observing what happens. Scientists are hoping to find evidence that verifies their standard model of particle physics. Rutherford s greatest contribution to the development of Science is of course his model of the atom. The Japanese scientist Hantaro Nagaoka had developed a similar model six years before Rutherford, but because it went against the teachings of classical electrodynamics it had not been taken seriously. However, Rutherford was such a differential figure, and had verified the concept with more concrete proof and calculations, hence earning the title Father of nuclear physics . • 25. Why Is It Important To Have Salary Caps In Professional... Money is limited. One can only buy what one has enough for. People must be efficient with their money. One must fill all of their needs. Similar to this situation, owners of professional sports teams can only buy players they have enough money for. Salary caps are placed on players based on skill level and value. This could be based off of various influences such as location, fan base, concessions sold, and much more. When some teams get more money than others, those teams get stacked with great players that lead the teams to victory. However, some complain that they don t have a lot of money, and state that that is the reason they don t have a good team. Therefore, the issue of salary caps, has two sides. Although salary caps could be abused... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Athletes in professional sports get paid a lot of money to play for famous teams. Because they want more money, they are motivated to play better. When they do play better, they get more money. For example, rookies, players that are new to the game, aren t paid much. However, they want more money to support their life, so they practice more and train to be much more skilled. Coaches then realize they will soon want more money as the years go by. Athletes practice with their team every week, and do the drills that the coaches pick to do. If players don t get better from this, they need to practice on their own time. It s up to the execution from the athletes (Neiburg). This shows that athletes must be self motivated. Most of them are, when they aren t paid much. Most veteran athletes that are already skilled have a high payroll because of salary caps. Since it is usually cap prohibitive to release a player that gets a significant signing bonus with this model, some teams are willing to include roster bonuses due in the first couple of days of the second contract year (Corry). This illustrates that salary caps don t allow players to be released right away. So, the player will get more practice with the team, and have more chances after a bad season or two. Even if a player eventually does get released, they wouldn t be happy, but they d be self motivated to practice as much as they can to get back on a team. Critics of this idea say that the only way players got into a professional sports league is because they are skilled, and already practiced a lot. Teams are also only looking for skilled players in certain positions they need. However, the reason teams need new players in those positions is because the players that are already in those positions have weaknesses. Since there isn t any signing bonus proration, teams have more cap ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Telescreens and hidden microphones are just a couple of examples of 1984 s controlling technology. The ideas depicted by author George Orwell s dystopian society are becoming more real every day. Telescreens were literally and thematically the biggest piece of surveillance technology in 1984. They were large screens that took in as much information as they put out. • 28. A Research Study On Mining Water Here in the U.S mining uses 4,020 million gallons per day, out of that 4 million + gallons 86% of it comes from surface and groundwater. To put this in percpective if you were a swimming pool builder and a customer asked you to build a pool that would hold 3.5 million gallons you would need to build a pool about 950 feet long (almost as long as 3 football fields), 175 feet wide, and 10 feet deep. That s a lot of water! Mining water is water used for the extraction of minerals that may be in the form of solids, such as iron, coal, gravel and sand or liquids, such as crude petroleum and natural gas. Oil and gas operations in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Wyoming and California were responsible for the large saline groundwater withdrawals in those states because saline water is a byproduct of mining operations. The use of water in mining has the potential and has been known to affect the quality of surrounding surface water and groundwater. In response to environmental concerns and government regulations, the mining industry worldwide increasingly monitors water discharged from mine sites and has implemented a number of management strategies to prevent water pollution. One such strategy is the use of remote sensing to assess impact of mining activities on land and water resources. Environmental impact assessment is now an integral part of mining operations. Remote sensing data enables the identification, delineating, and monitoring of pollution sources and affected areas including changes in surface land use and to water bodies. In an article from the website, Science Daily, researchers have discovered more evidence to support the theory of the Milky Way growing from the middle and spreading outwards over time. This evidence came from the current Gaia ESO project that was created by the European Space Agency. After reading this article, I realized just how important this information could be. Second, that stars older than 9 billion years had a very low metallicity, and this was described as a steep decline (University of Cambridge, 2014). However, given these two conclusions, the study also found that there are stars that are young with a low metallicity as well, meaning that the study is not completely cut and dry, so to speak. There is no distinguishable evidence that would allow researchers to definitely conclude the existence of a thin and thick disk or the creation of the Milky Way from the inside out. • 31. My Church Context At New Creation Ame Church Essay During my examination of my church context at New Creation AME Church, I have determined that I will explore the topic of Restart Churches . In my current context, the church has been in existence for twenty years, with no physical church home. Given the history, dwindling membership and financial issues, I would classify this churchas a Restart Church. Restarts are churches that fall into two categories; those that are either failing, or have failed and those that have assessed that restarting or starting over is the only way to invigorate their church plant or ministry in a way that will thrive and become viable. The term restart covers the gamut of churches a majority of which are small, and in a declining phase of ministry or stuck in the mire of inertia with little or no church growth. A Restart Church is comparable to rebooting your computer. If you experience a problem with your personal computer and the screen freezes or locks, you just press Alt, Ctrl Delete and your computer will soon restart. Restarting a church process is a very arduous, time consuming process that involves many varying factors that play a part in how long it will take to get moving and become active. Dr. Aubrey Malphurs, Senior Professor of Educational Ministries and Leadership and Pastoral Ministry at Dallas Theological Seminary, estimates that 30 to 40 % of churches will close their doors after the first few years. As a result, our society is divided in two different ways of thinking on the education. Some believe the modern method is better than the traditional method of teaching. Personally, I believe both methods should balance one another instead of attempting to substitute one another; this way their purpose of educating will be far more successful. However, advocates of classroom learning believe the online method isolates the students from one another as well as their professor minimizing the overall value of taking the course. They also claim that students learn better when working together with their instructor and their fellow classmates. Students learn better when they are given the opportunity to ask questions, join in class discussions, and they move the process of learning forward through their participation. A compelling case can be made for viewing the decades of the global scramble for colonies after 1870 as a predictable culmination of the long nineteenth century, which was ushered in by the industrial and political revolutions of the late 1700s. But at the same time, without serious attention to the processes and misguided policies that led to decades of agrarian and industrial depression from the late 1860s to the 1890s, as well as the social tensions and political rivalries that generated and were in turn fed by imperialist expansionism, one cannot begin to comprehend the causes and consequences of the Great War that began in 1914. The play reaches its climactic peak when the general s jealousy vows to exact bloody revenge on the perpetrators (Desdemona and Cassio) that caused him to be a cuckold . In phase one, it involved value and wrote: The wheel, which broke up the light into the four primary hues and their intermediaries, prompted Monet s initial and initially ill defined goal constraint. In his earlier painting called Mouth of the Seine at Honfleur (1865), he used earth colors, raw umber, burnt sienna, and blacks. After he stopped using browns and earth color and later black as well. For Sunrise (1873), he used the colors yellow, orange, blue, green and brown. What I found interesting is that he muted the colors so the painting looks dull. Even so orange pops with the muted blue because they are complementary colors that perceive soothing or balance in the painting.
