The Influence Of The Nuremberg Trial On International...
For the victorious parties of war to determine the process of justice makes a significant assumption
that those parties will attempt to apply an extension of the just war theory to include jus post bellum in
that they will endeavor for a just and lasting peace. This assumption is problematic for three reasons.
First, nothing guarantees that as a belligerent concludes acts of war that it has any intention
whatsoever of establishing peace. Second, the victor enjoys the privilege of deciding what constitutes
genocide or mass violence. Finally, the possibility always exists of atrocities committed by the victor.
Ultimately, in the Nuremberg Trial, the victor retained the prerogative to determine that the wrongs
performed by the Nazis were so calculated, so malignant and so devastating, that civilization cannot
tolerate their being ignored because it cannot survive their being repeated. (Jackson, Opening Address
for the United States) In this example, four victorious nations controlled the responsibility to
determine the requirement for a trial, negotiate the employment of the appropriate system of law,
determining the definition of criminal entities, and defining international law and that of a sovereign
nation (Rosen, ed., The Influence of the Nuremberg Trial on International Criminal Law ).

The Importance Of Animal Poaching
In this day alone, three rhinoceroses will be killed for the trading of their horns and an estimated one
hundred Asian elephants will be killed for their ivory, meat, and body parts. ( African Rhinos (n.d)
Goodall , J. 2017) Animal Poaching the illegal act of killing animals for profitable body parts has been
the reason for the near extinction of many species, including elephants, tigers, rhinoceros, and lions.
Scientists and concerned citizens of society need to come together to obliterate this illicit cartel.
Specific animals like elephants, tigers, lions, and rhinoceroses should be preserved because of their
roles within their respective ecosystems. Elephants, the ¨mega gardeners of the forest, are essential to
the transportation of seeds that maintain tree diversity. When we lose elephants, full extinction is
estimated to occur by 2020, we lose not only the species but their ecological role (African Elephants
face extinction, 2008). The wise leaders of past lives, elephants used to settle debates of the forest and
create vital watering holes for smaller animals as the noble masters in fables told by African natives.
When poaching finally takes the last living elephant due to selfishness, many African countries lose
both a species, and a culture. Tigers walking gold to poachers are worth a fortune on the black market
for their beautiful fur coats and bones, used for a delicate Chinese wine (Guynup, S., 2015). The last
three thousand wild tigers are facing

The Commonwealth Of Virginia V. Allen
VIRGINIA V. ALLEN The Commonwealth of Virginia v. Allen (609 S.E.2d 4, Va. 2005) was a
fascinating case. The case focused on two expert witness testifying for the state and the other for the
defendant, and if they acted and behaved ethically during the proceedings. Successive information will
be addressed to prove the thought process behind my opinion given in this case. The APA code of
ethics and specialty guidelines will be used to support my reasoning. Furthermore, they will serve as a
baseline of boundaries within the profession to determine the expert witness influences to the case as
well as their behavior within the profession. The first expert witness represented the Commonwealth
of Virginia and is a licensed clinical psychologist. Dr. Ronald M. Boggio s testimony targeted
information from a personal interview with the defendant, he also rendered psychological tests to Mr.
Allen to assist in his testimony. When reading the case, it appeared that Dr. Boggio s had been Mr.
Allen s psychologist is the past or may still be currently. It wasn t very clear, regardless, he had broad
knowledge and experience with the defendant Mr. Allen which leaves his testimony tainted in a sense.
The question remains, was his actions ethical or not. I looked at the APA and found that multiple
relationships could have been a factor in him serving as an expert witness. The APA 3.07 (2010)
discusses third party requests for service and believe this psychologist had multiple

Modern Vehicle and Suspension System
Introduction
A suspension system is required to operate efficiently in various operating conditions, such as high
speed cornering, accelerating and braking. A Suspension system is used to absorb the vibrations
caused by the road roughness. It is designed to improve the comfort in a vehicle, and also handling
performance. The main design features of a suspension system are the optimization of the friction
between the contact patch of the tyre and the road surface, and to deliver vehicle stability. The system
has to permit the distribution of forces generated by the wheels in contact with the ground. A
suspension system has to comply with the specifications of the design in every load condition.
A suspension system has a great importance in vehicle behaviour. Stability, handling or road holding
characteristics and also comfort, are influenced by the design of the suspension system. Generally,
there are two main types of suspension systems: Independent (McPherson, Double Wishbone,
Multilink, etc.) and Dependent suspension type (Hotchkiss, trailing arm rigid axle) (the automotive
chassis). The motion of the wheels in a dependent type suspension, as the name suggest, is dependent
on the motion of the partner wheel. As an example, the effect of an impact is transmitted to the other
wheel, having a negative effect on the ride and handling of the vehicle. The wheel motion in an
independent suspension is not influencing the partner wheel. Any disturbances in the wheel are not

Scanning Electron Microscopy And Microscopy
1. SCANNING ELECTRON MICROSCOPY
Scanning electron microscopy uses a focused beam of electrons to develop an image of the surface.
Signal is generated by the interaction of electrons with the surface, which are then detected and
perceived to obtain image and desired information related to the characteristics and topography.
1.1. WHY SEM USES ELECTRONS?
The resolution power of an eye is about 0.2 mm. However, utilizing a microscope magnify this
resolution power. The modern light microscope has a magnifying power of 1000x. The wavelength of
the light used can alter the resolving power of the microscope. Visible light as compared to an
electronic beam can focus the minute details of the surface. The signals that are derived from electron
ample interaction displays information about the physico chemical structure, crystalline morphology
and orientation of the arrays of molecules that make up the sample. A dimensional image is generated
showing spatial changes in properties (1) .
Areas of around 1 to 5 microns can be imaged by using conventional SEM techniques with a
magnifying range from 20x to 30,000x. SEM precision to view can be analyzed by keeping in view a
fact that it is cable of analyzing a particular sample point. This methodology can be employed for
quantitative determination. SEM is advantageous over traditional microscopic technique. SEM has
more deep investigational details as compared to the conventional characterization techniques. SEM
has much higher resolution

The Extraction Of Factors And Factors
The extraction of factors helps to determine the loading of factors. The factor loading matrix is shown
below and is estimated with two common factors. The first column of the matrix depicts the first
unrotated factor and it can be analysed that the first factor puts maximum and approximately equal
weights to the first, second and fifth variable. And, it puts the minimum weight to the third variable,
electricity. On the other hand, the second unrotated factor places the least weights to the first and
second variable, while putting the highest weight to the third variable.

Selecting an appropriate rotation is difficult task. Hence, it is preferable to perform both rotations on
the factors.
Varimax rotation technique results in high loading of each variable on a few number of factors, ideally
on one factor and hence resulting in better factor analysis. The Figure. 18 shows the biplot of loadings
of varimax rotated factors. It can be seen that in order to bring the loadings close to zero or one,
varimax has rotated the axes. The four variables are close to first factor axis. While, the third variable
lies approximately on second factor axis. Hence, the results of varimax rotation are satisfactory
because most of the variables are near to the factor axis. Figure. 17
Promax rotation can be used incase we are not able to obtain the satisfactory and simple set of factors
with an orthogonal rotation. The promax rotation allows the factor axes to have an oblique angle
between them. The Figure. 19 shown belows depicts the promax rotation. It can be seen that the
variables 1, 2 and 5 are close to the first factor axes and third variable is close to the second factor
axis. The data is better accomodated in an oblique rotation. The two latent factors can describe
variability of buildings and agriculture, which are having high impact on greenhouse gas emissions.

Essay On Ruby Bridges
Born on September 8th 1960, six years later Ruby Bridges would be the first African American child
to attend an all white southern elementary school. After moving from her hometown Tylertown,
Mississippi to New Orleans, Louisiana in hope of a better life she was one of the many black children
chosen to take the test. This test would determine whether the schools would become integrated or not
obviously being designed for them to fail, but six passed one being Ruby. In November of 1960 when
the Louisiana State Legislature could no longer fight segregation in schools Ruby would be the only
African American child attending William Frantz Elementary School. Ruby paved the way for Civil
Rights actions, this makes her a Civil Rights Activist Leader and an inspiration to many.
At the age of just six Ruby became a big part of the Civil Rights Movement. On that first day, federal
marshals drove Ruby and her mother to school. Two marshals walked in front of them and two behind
as they climbed the stairs and entered William Frantz School. While segregations screamed outside,

integrated school to bring children of different races together. She wanted the children to do what
other generations could not do, embrace our racial and cultural differences (Ruby Bridges). The motto
of her foundation is racism is a grown ups disease and we must stop using our children to spread it .
Ruby is considered a leader for these actions because she opened a school and created a foundation to

Organizational Management, Leadership, And Leadership
Introduction The group submission for this week is a summary of five topics from Resilient Leaders
that relate to Organizational Management and Leadership. The narrative concludes with three
scriptures that group four feels sum up the responsibilities of a leader.
Five Topics The five topics that group four chose from Resilient Leaders that relate to Organizational
Management and Leadership are selfless service, integrity, leading by example, vision, and traits of
wise leadership.
Selfless Service. Dees (2013) stated, resilient leadership is selfless service over time from a platform
of character and competence. Selfless service (servant leadership) is an important concept to
Organization Management and Leadership. Selfless service is the foundation of servant leadership.
Selfless service is one of the most important traits of a good leader. For an organization to thrive, it is
important for a leader to serve their followers and place their needs before his needs. Servant
leadership has a profound impact on employee empowerment by fostering an environment of
empathy, awareness, healing, listening, stewardship and community awareness (Murari Gupta, 2012).
A selfless service leader can have mediating effects on both public service motivation and corporate
social responsibility that assist the organization from both a community and goal attainment
perspective (Tuan, 2016). Selfless service is serving others without regard for self (Dees, 2013).

Assassination Of Franz Ferdinand Research Paper
The Assassination of Franz Ferdinand was a turning point in European history. This is because it was
one of the main events that eventually led to the start of World War I.
Franz Ferdinand was the Austrian archduke of Austria whose assassination in 1914 is generally
considered to have begun World War I. He lived most of his life as a wealthy nobleman before
becoming involved in the politics of the Austro Hungarian Empire, eventually cause the disfavor of
the Serbian nationalists who killed him.
In Central Europe, the Austro Hungarian Empire held many of the smaller territories of the area under
its political control. Austria Hungary was pleased with the arrangement but its outlying territories
grew resentful of its influence. While the smaller ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
As they had done in earlier engagements, the large powerful European nations fell into alliances with
one another, continuously. So as it began, Germany invaded France, Belgium and Luxembourg and
Russia launched an attack. ( Ferdinand, Archduke ). This created a lot of clashing strategic interests,
engaging alliances structures and widespread desires to overturn violent domestic politics. In addition,
loss of sixty five percent of people have died but this threat should have been the Black Hand territory
. The Territory created a massive fight toward other countries. People were either killed, captured,
wounded or missing at the end of the war creating a huge tragic for the countries. For example,
Austria Hungary lost an astounding ninety percent of its troops. The number of death kept increasing
to the other nations as well. Even though Serbia was successful, they were still defeated by the central
power. Black Hand should have realize that they made an extreme sorrow for people because of the
assassination. Germany should not bear the full burden of responsibility for World War I. This is
because the countries that were also involved in the war, they should also take the blame. Germans
lost some of the men and , other countries also destroy lands and killed a lot of people. Black Hand
terrorists should be blame for the cause of World War I. If they hadn t murdered Archduke Ferdinand,

The Mass Medi The Failure Of The Mass Media
The general population consists of seven billion people across the earth. The majority of the
individuals partake in receiving knowledge from those whose job it is to relay pertinent day to day
information to the general public. This minority is known as the mass media, and it is much larger
than simply journalism. The mass media is the newspaper, television, Video games, novels, textbooks,
and social media. Essentially any medium that is consumed excessively by the majority public is
known as a mass media. The most important of the mass media s is journalism and reporting; the
relaying of information from the reporters to the population. For years, controversy was a serious part
of the debate for what could not be shown, what could be, how far journalists are allowed to go to get
their information. Then, the SPJ: Code of Ethics emerged, giving guidelines for journalists and
reporters on how to seize, utilize, and properly report on subjects at hand. However, journalists and
reporters time and time again have deserted their code of conduct. For instance, the New Republic s
Stephen Glass did this via bypassing fact checkers and creating fictitious news stories. This led to the
downfall of the New Republic s reputation, along with ending the career of Stephen Glass. Though the
exact same is not being done with reporting politics, their use of power has become an arbitrary
system, where they decide what suits their own political standing and showing the information in such

Tropical Caribbe Climate Of The Caribbean Essay
Tropical The Caribbean
CLIMATE:
The climate of the Caribbean is tropical but rainfall varies with elevation, size and water currents.
Warm trade winds blow consistently from the east creating semi desert places on mountainous islands.
Occasional north westerlies affect the northern islands in the winter. The area has year round sunshine,
divided into dry and wet seasons, with the first half of the year being drier than the second half.
The average temperature is 23 degrees Celsius.
SOIL:
There are three main soil types in the Caribbean
Cristal Soil This soil is usually in coves or on slopes and has layers that stack deep and prevent proper
drainage. It is full of clay and mud, with several layers of different types of clay which range in colour
from grey to brown to tan. It is not very fertile soil.
Zarzal Soil Zarzal soil is ideal for gardening and landscaping because it drains well and is very fertile.
It is commonly on mountainsides and it layers deeply. The soil is dark red and is made of a lot of clay
but it drains well.
Humatas Soil This soil is found on ridges and hillsides, it has a silty texture and dark chocolate brown
colour for around 10 centimetres. The net subsoil is about 30 centimetres thick with chunks of clay
and is a yellow colour. The layers are mostly silty and have lots of clay.

ulcer which took place during a routine home visit with the community nurse. I am going to use Gibbs

washed my hands again. After leaving the patients home I discussed my practical experience with the
Nurse who informed me that I although I had carried out the procedure well it was actually carried out
using a clinically clean technique rather than the Aseptic Non Touch Technique as I had thought. As I
had used the same gloves to remove the dirty dressings from the leg ulcer and then apply new sterile
dressings I had not maintained the Aseptic Non Touch Technique. The Nurse informed me that this
was perfectly suitable for the procedure I carried out as the wound was still kept as clean as possible
and dressings and equipment used were sterile. Whilst carrying out the procedure I felt confident with
my practice of the dressing change using the Aseptic technique. Although I was slightly nervous and
self conscious as I was aware that the trained Nurse was observing me, I felt that this did not come
across in my body language or my practice. When the Nurse told me that I was not using the Aseptic
Non Touch Technique I felt unsure of the whole process which then led to me re evaluating my
practice within this area. The Lincolnshire Community Health Service (LCHS)

Nazi Germany And Its Detrimental Effects On The Social...
When looking into the history of Germany and determining what led to the startling rise in Nazism in
Germany and its detrimental effects on the social outcasts in Europe, it can be easy to deduce that the
Nazi regime was one where Hitler walked in with his officials and took office by force. The truth is
that, while the Nazi party is responsible for the atrocities that occurred before and during WWII, they
would have not gotten far if it hadn t been for the cooperation of the German people themselves. Life
in the Third Reich provides proof through voting, youth programs and village life that the Nazi party
rose into power with German support. In Village Life in Nazi Germany, essayist Gerhard Wilke
discusses the rise of Nazism in the small village of Korle, discussing how with the rapid political
changes in Germany from an empire to a democratic nation also affected the power balances of small
villages. Despite the efforts of the older generations to keep some sort of semblance of the old
traditions, it was their children who wanted change and found themselves attracted to Nazism and
formed the first local branch of the party in 1928. The reason for this, Wilke says is that they wanted
radical solutions to three existential and ideological problems: the survival of their generation as
independent farmer, the preservation of their political dominance, and the suppression of their enemies
(The Jews and the working class). And the youth of villages came together in

A Project On Using New Technology
Introduction:
There is a manufacturing company of medium sized which is working on increasing the prototype
capability for its firm. The controversy is going in the selection process of the project among the two
proposed project to achieve the goal of the company. The first proposed project was based on the
traditional prototype used by the company. The project is tested and resulted with the low risk factor in
the priority for increasing the capability of the prototype for the firm. The project follows all the ethics
of the company and is based on according to the company s culture and structure. Therefore no
training program is required for the staff. The second project introduces new technique of 3D printing
to enhance the prototype with high speed. It minimizes the cost of the project. The requirement of this
project is a greater capital input. As the system is using new technology, therefore the training
program is required for the employees. The risk factor rises up with the introduction of new
prototyping system. If the new system is get successful then it will result with maximizing the profit
for the firm. As the consultant I will go through projects by exploring their assumptions, advantages
and disadvantages and then I will recommend the best project for the firm.

The Implementation Gap Between Theory And Practice Of...
Overview of Topic:
Sustainability is somewhat of a contentious issue within heritage planning. It is widely used, but not
always well understood. This essay proposal uses this term to mean balancing the needs of current
society with the preservation of current resources to improve cultural vitality, social equality,
environmental responsibility and economic vitality (Letourneau, 2016). Each of these pillars contains
several aspects, such as innovation and ecological balance, which contribute to the overall success of a
community. Heritage must be protected in a holistic and multidisciplinary way, which engages the
community and transfers to policy, practice and implementation.
Research Question:
How has the implementation gap between theory and practice of heritage planning contribute to the
goal of sustainability?
Overview of Research Design:
The research will follow the structure of four organisational sections: a review of relevant literature,
an overview of applicable government policies, a case study and an analysis of theoretical and
historical approaches. Theory and historical approaches will be explored through a review of relevant
literature to identify how heritage planning has contributed to sustainability goals. The review
combined with an overview of applicable policy and a related case study will compose the basis of the
paper.
This research is significant due to the differing approaches of theory and practice. Theoretical
approaches often through

The Influence Of Female Fashion In The 1920 s
As female fashion in the Western world has evolved since through the 20th century, an exciting feature
has been the evolving exposure of skin. While arms and legs have had their share of change in
exposure and acceptance from early traditional fashion to modern fashion, the exposure of the midriff
has experienced controversy from the early 1900s to now. Midriff exposure has a history worth
looking into in understanding its popularity and prevalence in fashion today.
To begin exploration of the topic, the origins of the trend must be determined. Most sources agree that
Madeleine Vionnet officially introduced midriff exposure into high fashion in 1932 with her haute
couture dresses, intentionally cut to reveal the waist. While it was common to see characters in films
baring their midriffs, it was only common to see real women exposing their midriffs at the beach with
two piece bathing suits at this time and into the 1940s. It was not common at all for women to bare
their midriffs in public spaces besides ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In fact, more girls are gaining positivity through daring to bare their midriffs or even their shoulders in
defiance of illogical school dress codes and that more people are feeling liberated by accepting and
loving their bodies. I see the resurgence of the exposed midriff not so much part of a sexual
revolution, but a part of a revolution of acceptance acceptance of gender equality, acceptance of the
beauty of all, and rejection of hate in all forms. Girls who were told to cover up for the sake of not
distracting boys in school or because they were told they were not pretty are now a part of a positive
movement in body love and appreciation. I believe this is a trend to stay, especially as it was the focus
of the Spring Summer 2015 Haute Couture Show by Chanel in Paris, being brought back into high
fashion as well as street

Compare And Contrast Divergent And The Hunger Games
Imagine a community where people do not have the opportunity to choose how and where they live. A
Utopian society is an ideal way to live, but with human nature, it will never work. Divergent by
Veronica Roth and The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins are excellent examples of a Utopian
society. Divergent is about a girl named Tris who lives in a community that has been living the perfect
lifestyle for a long time. In Tris s city, the government gives people medicine, so the people do not
question the government. For most people, the drug works, but for Tris and very few others, the
medication does not work. The people in which the dose does not accomplish what the government
wants the medicine are considered divergent. The situation is similar in The Hunger Games where
Katniss does not agree with how the capital is doing things. Even though both books are ideal,
Divergent is a more realistic way to make a Utopian society. Divergent and The Hunger Games are
similar in the fact that both movies divide their communities up and both main female characters fight
for themselves and their loved one s lives. Divergent and The Hunger Games both try to make the best
community they can. Dividing the communities into different groups allows people to excel in what
they are great at. Divergent groups the town up into five factions. At a young age, children are tested
to see what faction they should be in. In Divergent, the people control the government but in The
Hunger Games the government is run by the wealthiest people in the community, and those people do
not care what happens to the other people. Also in The Hunger Games, there are thirteen different
districts and the capital. Each district is a town that gives everything to the capital and receives
nothing in return. Divergent is more logical because the community works together and are all equal,
while The Hunger Games does not care what happens to the people in the districts because the games

The Hanging Of Louis Riel
Diorama Write Up The Hanging of Louis Riel For my diorama I chose to do the hanging of Louis
Riel. I used Lego characters to represent the people who attended the trail and Louis. I did this
because lego is easy to set up and i have an excess amount of lego so it was also easy to gather the
supplies. For the background I picked blue and green construction paper to serve as the sky and hills +
grass. With construction paper i also made the sun and some clouds out of yellow and white paper.
The lego I used added to the understanding of the event by showing that lots of people attended the
hanging. I made some of the people attending the hanging cheering to represent the English speaking
people who wanted Riel to suffer as they believed

Taking a Look at Quorn
PROJECT IDEA
In our modern world one of our biggest problems is food, or rather a lack of food. To combat this
problem Quorn was developed in 1925. However Quorn only recently became easily accessible to
South Africans. What I aim to achieve with this project is to establish whether Mycoproteins are the
best way forward. WHAT IS MYCOPROTEIN
Mycoproteins are derived from the fungus Fusarium venenatum . This fungus is grown in a
fermentation vat filled with glucose syrup and minerals and vitamins. To maintain growth oxygen is
pumped in, carbon dioxide is removed and the vat is kept at a temperature between 350C to 420C. To
form the all important protein, nitrogen is consistently added to the fungus. The result of all this
optimization is that the fungus can double its mass every five hours.
However even with this fast production rate the fungus must be dried to ~10% water, this was the
main cost in the production of other single cell proteins. Of the dry mass of the fungus approximately
48% is protein with the remainder being fat, carbohydrates and cell wall. Currently the best single cell
protein production system is unibio s u loop technology which converts natural gas into a highly
concentrated, 71%, protein product. The mycoprotein used in Quorn was chosen above the natural gas
system because the hyphae in the fungus are similar in length and width to genuine muscle fibres
which gives the quorn a more realistic meaty texture.

The Depth Of The River Affect Its Overall Ph From Mid July...
Question: Does the depth of the river affect its overall pH from mid december 2015 to early january
2016?
Knowledge Probe: According to.epa.gov/acidrain/measure/pH.html, pH is a measure of the hydrogen
ion concentration of a solution. Solutions with a high concentration of hydrogen ions have a low pH
and solutions with a low concentrations of H+ ions have a high pH. A pH of 7 is the most neutral you
can get and 0 being the most acidic and 14 being the most basic. each level is 10 times more basic/
acidic than the previous level, for example a pH of 8 is 10 times more basic than 7, and a pH of 9 is
100 times more basic than 7. when an acidic substance reacts with a basic substance they counter each
other like mixing hot and cold water. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The blue bar grapH below it shows the pH of each of the 12 trial collected. The table below compares
the depth in inches to the pH directly, and the average of each is at the bottom of the table.
Data Analysis: On trial 5 something interesting happened where it did not match the trend of other
data points. you can see this when comparing the depth to pH with the grapHs; for example trial 1 s
depth and pH is lower than trial 2 s depth and pH, and trial 2 s depth and pH is lower than trial 3 s
depth and pH etc. that sort of trend is fluent through the data except trial 5 where depth was lower than
the previous trials but the pH was the highest collected. My data is accurate to a point but when
collecting the depth of the river it presented a challenge to get 100% accurate because it is constantly
changing; also the pH scale only measures to the hundredth of a digit. The pH Scales calibration could
also have been of slightly but all of my trials were collected under the same calibration so it does not
seem to present a change in trend but instead with the actual numbers.
Claim: When the depth on the Looking Glass river was higher it had a higher pH in late december
2015 to early January 2016.
Data Supporting Claim: When analysing my data you can clearly see that when the

Red King Crabs Stomach Analysis
Red king crabs were collected for stomach analysis and abundance estimates by using a specially
designed beam trawl, previously used in surveys for stock assessment by the Institute of Marine
Research (IMR). The crab trawl is 6 m wide, 1 m high, and is equipped with a 135 mm mesh size
polyethylene net (Sundet Berenboim 2008). The hauling speed was approximately 1.65 kn. It was not
possible to use a fixed standardized trawling distance because of the changing and rocky bottom
topography. Four hauls were also performed with a shrimp bottom trawl in 2005, to catch fish for
stomach analysis for another study not included in this paper. However, as red king crabs were caught
during four of these hauls (Table 3), stomach analysis of these crabs

Jung Typology Analysis
When taking the Jung typology test the profile I received was INFJ. In this profile, I stands for
introvert. What this means is that I tend to be more introverted, rather than extraverted. An example of
this is, a friend of mine was having a party and asked me to go. Since it was my friend s birthday I
decided to go. When I got to the party I realized that I wouldn t be able to talk to her very much
because of all the people there. I spent most of the night being very quiet and not starting up any
conversations. Whenever someone started talking to me, I would keep the conversation going of
course. After about an hour of uncomfortable socializing I decided to step out on her back porch for
some peace and quiet. I often find that when I am ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This letter decribes me because I am the type of person who likes to have things planned out in
advance. I do not like chaotic spur of the moment situations because they make me anxious. An
example of a time where I planned everything out is, last summer I went on a meditation retreat and
packed a month ahead of time. The retreat was not until July, but I started packing in June. After
packing and unpacking, and repacking several dozen times I finally knew I had everything I could
possible need for my retreat. I had a checklist and made sure everything on it was checked off. In this
situation you can see that I really like having things planned out in

Jesus Reflection
Welcome back! Thank you for joining me in going just a little deeper in discovering how Jesus kept
Himself from resentment.
The following passage took place in September or October of 29AD right before the Feast of
Tabernacles (Booths). This feast was a time of celebration and thanksgiving for the harvest. It was also
a time spent remembering God s faithfulness to Israel during their 40 years wandering in the
wilderness after Moses lead their escape from captivity in Egypt.
Please read John 7:1 10.
This passage helps us see how fully human Jesus really was, just as He was fully God. His Godness
was so well hidden for 30 years that even His family, those closest to Him who lived in the same
house with Him for all those years, couldn t see that He was God in flesh form. They ate together,
learned together, worked together, slept in the same rooms, worshipped and celebrated the same God
together. And in all that time, they never saw that He was God. How could that be? What a mystery!
Like most Jews in that day, Jesus brothers believed that the Messiah would lead the Jews militarily to
freedom from Roman captivity. They determined that He had nothing to offer them once they realized
that Jesus had no intention of causing an insurrection to build an earthly kingdom. Their blood
relationship to Him was not going to gain them any personal advancement, honor and privilege.
His brothers taunted Jesus to go to Jerusalem for the Feast of Booths. Although

that underlines suffering as a major theme as the effect of battles. It happened in the city of Troy due
to avenge the abduction of Helen, daughter of Zeus and wife of one of the Greek kings, by a Trojan
prince. Many characters in the epic go through a lot of suffering. Achilles, king of Phthia, greatest
warrior in the poem fights in the battles, loses his best friend while his honor and integrity means so
much to him and this dilemma causes him suffering. Priam, king of Troy, suffers crucial loss of his
most beloved son, Hector that is killed by Achilles in madness. Helen, as many other women in this
epic watch helplessly as their loved ones

Amelia Earhart Case Study
Amelia Earhart wanted to be the first woman to fly around the world, but didn t make it. Bewildered,
Amelia s disappearance is still an unsolved mystery today. Amelia s early life was filled with exciting
activities and her plane career was mostly successful. Some people are still coming up with theories
about Amelia Earhart s disappearance today.
First of all, there are lots of facts about Amelia s early life. One interesting fact about Amelia s early
life is her childhood. Amelia was born in Atchison, Kansas on July 24, 1897. Her family members are
Muriel her sister, her parents were Edwin and Amy Otis Earhart, and her grandparents were Alfred and
Amelia Harres Otis. Her full name is Amelia Mary Earhart. She was a tomboy and also loved to play
basketball.
Amelia s early life contained many interests and hobbies that made her the way she was. Some
interests she liked was throwing mud balls and jumping over fences. She also had many other hobbies
like playing baseball and football , horse riding, and tennis. She also liked reading and playing the
banjo. Amelia liked to fly and she wanted to be the first woman to fly around the world. Later, Amelia
was a volunteer nurse during wars.
In Amelia s early life things sparked her interest so she started to fly. One thing that sparked her
interest to fly was her first plane ride at an airshow. Then, she was a passenger to fly across the
Atlantic Ocean on a plane. After that, she took lessons to learn how to fly a

Aviation And Air Pollution
Air pollution has been a severe challenge to fuel consuming industries (Wang Hao 2012). Stringent
measures are to be implemented to reduce the effects of carbon emission to the environment. The
WHO (2011) has acknowledged the noise environmental impact as a serious burden of disease, and
recent contemporary studies have recognized a link between aviation noise and cardiovascular disease
(Hnasel 2013). Limited Airspace and Airports Capacities Busy airports have sometimes had to keep
aircrafts in the air in wait to land due to the lack of space and inefficient planning on arrivals and
departures. This causes an increase in costs of fuel and other harmful effects. The capacity of runways,
reception by taxis and the whole port should be increased to allow a smooth flow of activities. The
arrival and departure routes can be separate to facilitate a continuous landing and ascent. Technology
Over 60% of airlines have a strategic plan on how to improve their technique, some with programs
underway. An advance in technology in the industry means easy handling of clients and better service
provision (Lovelock 2011). Efficiency will be high, easy booking of tickets, fast and sophisticated
security checks, reduced paper works and proper communication among others. The right technology
will be an essential tool in the performance of this industry. Economic Impact of Aviation The
expansion of airports and reinforcement of the growth of aviation is evidenced on economic attaining

The Marshmallow Experiment In The 1960s And The 1970s
Damian Becker
The Marshmallow Experiment
Stanford conducted the Marshmallow Experiment in the 1960s and the 1970s. This study was meant
to find out if children have the ability to delay gratification so the used kids ages four through six in
their study. The kids were led into a empty room and was offered a marshmallow. The kids were then
told that if they can wait 15 minutes before eating the marshmallow that they could have another
marshmallow. There was 600 kids that was in this experiment and some ate the marshmallow instantly
while others looked away to be able to wait long enough. Later in 1988 a follow up study showed that
the kids that could delay gratification were more successful after 10 years that the kids that could not

For Brian Tracy the reason she had less motivation and bad habits is because she had a constant need
for gratification. Over the years she was able to make good habits and reach her long term goals. She
did this by fixing the environment around her like getting rid of things that makes you feel frustrated
and get more things that help you delay gratification. She started to think about long term goals and
she started to read blogs to help her stay motivated. Also she read books about what she wanted to do
in life. Another thing you could do is ask friends and family who are good at delaying gratification to
see if they have any ideas. Finally you need to make sure you use the new environment you made to

Paternity Leave Benefits
Paternity Leave
As of 2015 less than 20% of employers offer paid paternity leave. This low number is staggering when
you look at all the benefits that come from a new father being at home with his newborn. The benefits
to employers alone should send that number skyrocketing. Paid paternity leave promotes better child
cognitive development, allows for faster recovery for the mother, and makes for better employees.
Paid paternity leave should be a benefit provided by every company in the United States for all full
time employees and would prove to be a profit for the company. Fathers attach to their babies in the
way similar to mothers and at the same time, making it important for new dads to spend time as much
as possible with their newborns ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This allows employees to take up to 12 weeks of un paid leave. It helps balance work and family life
without the fear of losing their jobs and benefits. The leave is easy to get if you are a full time
employee of a company that has more than 50 employees, has 20 or more work weeks, and you live
within 75 miles of your job. It is illegal for an employer to discriminate against an employee that has
taken leave, but Federal law requires at least 30 days notice to the employer. If your work doesn t offer
paid paternity leave this is one option you have. Another is to use up any vacation and/or PTO. When
you put everything together you can see that the long term financial benefits of paid paternity leave
greatly outweigh the short term economic costs for any employer. Letting the father create such a
close bond with the child produces such enormous benefits it is inconceivable that more employers
aren t getting on board with it. I hope that in the future more employers will see the financial,
emotional, and mental benefits and incorporate paid leave for new

  • 2. The Influence Of The Nuremberg Trial On International... For the victorious parties of war to determine the process of justice makes a significant assumption that those parties will attempt to apply an extension of the just war theory to include jus post bellum in that they will endeavor for a just and lasting peace. This assumption is problematic for three reasons. First, nothing guarantees that as a belligerent concludes acts of war that it has any intention whatsoever of establishing peace. Second, the victor enjoys the privilege of deciding what constitutes genocide or mass violence. Finally, the possibility always exists of atrocities committed by the victor. Ultimately, in the Nuremberg Trial, the victor retained the prerogative to determine that the wrongs performed by the Nazis were so calculated, so malignant and so devastating, that civilization cannot tolerate their being ignored because it cannot survive their being repeated. (Jackson, Opening Address for the United States) In this example, four victorious nations controlled the responsibility to determine the requirement for a trial, negotiate the employment of the appropriate system of law, determining the definition of criminal entities, and defining international law and that of a sovereign nation (Rosen, ed., The Influence of the Nuremberg Trial on International Criminal Law ). ... • 3. The Importance Of Animal Poaching In this day alone, three rhinoceroses will be killed for the trading of their horns and an estimated one hundred Asian elephants will be killed for their ivory, meat, and body parts. ( African Rhinos (n.d) Goodall , J. 2017) Animal Poaching the illegal act of killing animals for profitable body parts has been the reason for the near extinction of many species, including elephants, tigers, rhinoceros, and lions. Scientists and concerned citizens of society need to come together to obliterate this illicit cartel. Specific animals like elephants, tigers, lions, and rhinoceroses should be preserved because of their roles within their respective ecosystems. Elephants, the ¨mega gardeners of the forest, are essential to the transportation of seeds that maintain tree diversity. When we lose elephants, full extinction is estimated to occur by 2020, we lose not only the species but their ecological role (African Elephants face extinction, 2008). The wise leaders of past lives, elephants used to settle debates of the forest and create vital watering holes for smaller animals as the noble masters in fables told by African natives. When poaching finally takes the last living elephant due to selfishness, many African countries lose both a species, and a culture. Tigers walking gold to poachers are worth a fortune on the black market for their beautiful fur coats and bones, used for a delicate Chinese wine (Guynup, S., 2015). The last three thousand wild tigers are facing ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. The Commonwealth Of Virginia V. Allen VIRGINIA V. ALLEN The Commonwealth of Virginia v. Allen (609 S.E.2d 4, Va. 2005) was a fascinating case. The case focused on two expert witness testifying for the state and the other for the defendant, and if they acted and behaved ethically during the proceedings. Successive information will be addressed to prove the thought process behind my opinion given in this case. The APA code of ethics and specialty guidelines will be used to support my reasoning. Furthermore, they will serve as a baseline of boundaries within the profession to determine the expert witness influences to the case as well as their behavior within the profession. The first expert witness represented the Commonwealth of Virginia and is a licensed clinical psychologist. Dr. Ronald M. Boggio s testimony targeted information from a personal interview with the defendant, he also rendered psychological tests to Mr. Allen to assist in his testimony. When reading the case, it appeared that Dr. Boggio s had been Mr. Allen s psychologist is the past or may still be currently. It wasn t very clear, regardless, he had broad knowledge and experience with the defendant Mr. Allen which leaves his testimony tainted in a sense. The question remains, was his actions ethical or not. I looked at the APA and found that multiple relationships could have been a factor in him serving as an expert witness. The APA 3.07 (2010) discusses third party requests for service and believe this psychologist had multiple ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 5. Modern Vehicle and Suspension System Introduction A suspension system is required to operate efficiently in various operating conditions, such as high speed cornering, accelerating and braking. A Suspension system is used to absorb the vibrations caused by the road roughness. It is designed to improve the comfort in a vehicle, and also handling performance. The main design features of a suspension system are the optimization of the friction between the contact patch of the tyre and the road surface, and to deliver vehicle stability. The system has to permit the distribution of forces generated by the wheels in contact with the ground. A suspension system has to comply with the specifications of the design in every load condition. A suspension system has a great importance in vehicle behaviour. Stability, handling or road holding characteristics and also comfort, are influenced by the design of the suspension system. Generally, there are two main types of suspension systems: Independent (McPherson, Double Wishbone, Multilink, etc.) and Dependent suspension type (Hotchkiss, trailing arm rigid axle) (the automotive chassis). The motion of the wheels in a dependent type suspension, as the name suggest, is dependent on the motion of the partner wheel. As an example, the effect of an impact is transmitted to the other wheel, having a negative effect on the ride and handling of the vehicle. The wheel motion in an independent suspension is not influencing the partner wheel. Any disturbances in the wheel are not ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 6. Scanning Electron Microscopy And Microscopy 1. SCANNING ELECTRON MICROSCOPY Scanning electron microscopy uses a focused beam of electrons to develop an image of the surface. Signal is generated by the interaction of electrons with the surface, which are then detected and perceived to obtain image and desired information related to the characteristics and topography. 1.1. WHY SEM USES ELECTRONS? The resolution power of an eye is about 0.2 mm. However, utilizing a microscope magnify this resolution power. The modern light microscope has a magnifying power of 1000x. The wavelength of the light used can alter the resolving power of the microscope. Visible light as compared to an electronic beam can focus the minute details of the surface. The signals that are derived from electron ample interaction displays information about the physico chemical structure, crystalline morphology and orientation of the arrays of molecules that make up the sample. A dimensional image is generated showing spatial changes in properties (1) . Areas of around 1 to 5 microns can be imaged by using conventional SEM techniques with a magnifying range from 20x to 30,000x. SEM precision to view can be analyzed by keeping in view a fact that it is cable of analyzing a particular sample point. This methodology can be employed for quantitative determination. SEM is advantageous over traditional microscopic technique. SEM has more deep investigational details as compared to the conventional characterization techniques. SEM has much higher resolution ... • 7. The Extraction Of Factors And Factors The extraction of factors helps to determine the loading of factors. The factor loading matrix is shown below and is estimated with two common factors. The first column of the matrix depicts the first unrotated factor and it can be analysed that the first factor puts maximum and approximately equal weights to the first, second and fifth variable. And, it puts the minimum weight to the third variable, electricity. On the other hand, the second unrotated factor places the least weights to the first and second variable, while putting the highest weight to the third variable. Factor Loadings = Scatter plot of Unrotated Factor Scores The Figure. 15 shows the scatter plot of Score2 vs. Score1. It is clear that the 15th observation has the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Selecting an appropriate rotation is difficult task. Hence, it is preferable to perform both rotations on the factors. Varimax rotation technique results in high loading of each variable on a few number of factors, ideally on one factor and hence resulting in better factor analysis. The Figure. 18 shows the biplot of loadings of varimax rotated factors. It can be seen that in order to bring the loadings close to zero or one, varimax has rotated the axes. The four variables are close to first factor axis. While, the third variable lies approximately on second factor axis. Hence, the results of varimax rotation are satisfactory because most of the variables are near to the factor axis. Figure. 17 Promax rotation can be used incase we are not able to obtain the satisfactory and simple set of factors with an orthogonal rotation. The promax rotation allows the factor axes to have an oblique angle between them. The Figure. 19 shown belows depicts the promax rotation. It can be seen that the variables 1, 2 and 5 are close to the first factor axes and third variable is close to the second factor axis. The data is better accomodated in an oblique rotation. The two latent factors can describe variability of buildings and agriculture, which are having high impact on greenhouse gas emissions. The narrative concludes with three scriptures that group four feels sum up the responsibilities of a leader. Five Topics The five topics that group four chose from Resilient Leaders that relate to Organizational Management and Leadership are selfless service, integrity, leading by example, vision, and traits of wise leadership. Selfless Service. Dees (2013) stated, resilient leadership is selfless service over time from a platform of character and competence. Selfless service (servant leadership) is an important concept to Organization Management and Leadership. Selfless service is the foundation of servant leadership. Selfless service is one of the most important traits of a good leader. For an organization to thrive, it is important for a leader to serve their followers and place their needs before his needs. Servant leadership has a profound impact on employee empowerment by fostering an environment of empathy, awareness, healing, listening, stewardship and community awareness (Murari Gupta, 2012). A selfless service leader can have mediating effects on both public service motivation and corporate social responsibility that assist the organization from both a community and goal attainment perspective (Tuan, 2016). This is because it was one of the main events that eventually led to the start of World War I. Franz Ferdinand was the Austrian archduke of Austria whose assassination in 1914 is generally considered to have begun World War I. He lived most of his life as a wealthy nobleman before becoming involved in the politics of the Austro Hungarian Empire, eventually cause the disfavor of the Serbian nationalists who killed him. In addition, loss of sixty five percent of people have died but this threat should have been the Black Hand territory . The Territory created a massive fight toward other countries. People were either killed, captured, wounded or missing at the end of the war creating a huge tragic for the countries. For example, Austria Hungary lost an astounding ninety percent of its troops. • 11. The Mass Medi The Failure Of The Mass Media The general population consists of seven billion people across the earth. The majority of the individuals partake in receiving knowledge from those whose job it is to relay pertinent day to day information to the general public. This minority is known as the mass media, and it is much larger than simply journalism. The mass media is the newspaper, television, Video games, novels, textbooks, and social media. Essentially any medium that is consumed excessively by the majority public is known as a mass media. The most important of the mass media s is journalism and reporting; the relaying of information from the reporters to the population. For years, controversy was a serious part of the debate for what could not be shown, what could be, how far journalists are allowed to go to get their information. Then, the SPJ: Code of Ethics emerged, giving guidelines for journalists and reporters on how to seize, utilize, and properly report on subjects at hand. However, journalists and reporters time and time again have deserted their code of conduct. For instance, the New Republic s Stephen Glass did this via bypassing fact checkers and creating fictitious news stories. This led to the downfall of the New Republic s reputation, along with ending the career of Stephen Glass. Though the exact same is not being done with reporting politics, their use of power has become an arbitrary system, where they decide what suits their own political standing and showing the information in such a ... The procedure I am going to discuss is a dressing change to a leg ulcer which took place during a routine home visit with the community nurse. I am going to use Gibbs Model of Reflection (1988), to reflect on the experience and evaluate my thoughts and feelings of the procedure, and to outline what I have gained from the experience for my future practice. After leaving the patients home I discussed my practical experience with the Nurse who informed me that I although I had carried out the procedure well it was actually carried out using a clinically clean technique rather than the Aseptic Non Touch Technique as I had thought. As I had used the same gloves to remove the dirty dressings from the leg ulcer and then apply new sterile dressings I had not maintained the Aseptic Non Touch Technique. The Nurse informed me that this was perfectly suitable for the procedure I carried out as the wound was still kept as clean as possible and dressings and equipment used were sterile. Whilst carrying out the procedure I felt confident with my practice of the dressing change using the Aseptic technique. Although I was slightly nervous and self conscious as I was aware that the trained Nurse was observing me, I felt that this did not come across in my body language or my practice. • 14. Nazi Germany And Its Detrimental Effects On The Social... When looking into the history of Germany and determining what led to the startling rise in Nazism in Germany and its detrimental effects on the social outcasts in Europe, it can be easy to deduce that the Nazi regime was one where Hitler walked in with his officials and took office by force. The truth is that, while the Nazi party is responsible for the atrocities that occurred before and during WWII, they would have not gotten far if it hadn t been for the cooperation of the German people themselves. Life in the Third Reich provides proof through voting, youth programs and village life that the Nazi party rose into power with German support. In Village Life in Nazi Germany, essayist Gerhard Wilke discusses the rise of Nazism in the small village of Korle, discussing how with the rapid political changes in Germany from an empire to a democratic nation also affected the power balances of small villages. Despite the efforts of the older generations to keep some sort of semblance of the old traditions, it was their children who wanted change and found themselves attracted to Nazism and formed the first local branch of the party in 1928. The reason for this, Wilke says is that they wanted radical solutions to three existential and ideological problems: the survival of their generation as independent farmer, the preservation of their political dominance, and the suppression of their enemies (The Jews and the working class). And the youth of villages came together in ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

In unity there is strength, a well known proverb states, and there is one constant among famous quotes in that they can be applied to almost any situation, event, or idea, for that they are always true. One of these results includes educating others and bringing awareness to the situation and problem at hand, so that citizens would not be on the side of the executioners . An example of using peace to effectively spread a message that would not only have a huge effect on obliterating the national discrimination of its time but as well being honored and remembered for decades after would be Martin Luther King Jr s iconic I Have A Dream speech on August 28, 1963. • 19. The Implementation Gap Between Theory And Practice Of... Overview of Topic: Sustainability is somewhat of a contentious issue within heritage planning. It is widely used, but not always well understood. This essay proposal uses this term to mean balancing the needs of current society with the preservation of current resources to improve cultural vitality, social equality, environmental responsibility and economic vitality (Letourneau, 2016). Each of these pillars contains several aspects, such as innovation and ecological balance, which contribute to the overall success of a community. Heritage must be protected in a holistic and multidisciplinary way, which engages the community and transfers to policy, practice and implementation. Research Question: How has the implementation gap between theory and practice of heritage planning contribute to the goal of sustainability? Overview of Research Design: The research will follow the structure of four organisational sections: a review of relevant literature, an overview of applicable government policies, a case study and an analysis of theoretical and historical approaches. Theory and historical approaches will be explored through a review of relevant literature to identify how heritage planning has contributed to sustainability goals. The review combined with an overview of applicable policy and a related case study will compose the basis of the paper. This research is significant due to the differing approaches of theory and practice. Theoretical approaches often through ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 20. The Influence Of Female Fashion In The 1920 s As female fashion in the Western world has evolved since through the 20th century, an exciting feature has been the evolving exposure of skin. While arms and legs have had their share of change in exposure and acceptance from early traditional fashion to modern fashion, the exposure of the midriff has experienced controversy from the early 1900s to now. Midriff exposure has a history worth looking into in understanding its popularity and prevalence in fashion today. To begin exploration of the topic, the origins of the trend must be determined. Most sources agree that Madeleine Vionnet officially introduced midriff exposure into high fashion in 1932 with her haute couture dresses, intentionally cut to reveal the waist. While it was common to see characters in films baring their midriffs, it was only common to see real women exposing their midriffs at the beach with two piece bathing suits at this time and into the 1940s. Girls who were told to cover up for the sake of not distracting boys in school or because they were told they were not pretty are now a part of a positive movement in body love and appreciation. • 21. Compare And Contrast Divergent And The Hunger Games Imagine a community where people do not have the opportunity to choose how and where they live. A Utopian society is an ideal way to live, but with human nature, it will never work. Divergent by Veronica Roth and The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins are excellent examples of a Utopian society. Divergent is about a girl named Tris who lives in a community that has been living the perfect lifestyle for a long time. In Tris s city, the government gives people medicine, so the people do not question the government. For most people, the drug works, but for Tris and very few others, the medication does not work. The people in which the dose does not accomplish what the government wants the medicine are considered divergent. The situation is similar in The Hunger Games where Katniss does not agree with how the capital is doing things. Even though both books are ideal, Divergent is a more realistic way to make a Utopian society. Divergent and The Hunger Games are similar in the fact that both movies divide their communities up and both main female characters fight for themselves and their loved one s lives. Divergent and The Hunger Games both try to make the best community they can. Dividing the communities into different groups allows people to excel in what they are great at. Divergent groups the town up into five factions. At a young age, children are tested to see what faction they should be in. In Divergent, the people control the government but in The Hunger Games the government is run by the wealthiest people in the community, and those people do not care what happens to the other people. Also in The Hunger Games, there are thirteen different districts and the capital. Each district is a town that gives everything to the capital and receives nothing in return. Divergent is more logical because the community works together and are all equal, while The Hunger Games does not care what happens to the people in the districts because the games are the hunger games is entertainment for the capital. In both stories, the main female characters, Tris and Katniss, fight to save their lives and their loved one s lives. Tris tries to hide her divergence as long as she could until Four, her lover, figures out. In ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 23. Taking a Look at Quorn PROJECT IDEA In our modern world one of our biggest problems is food, or rather a lack of food. To combat this problem Quorn was developed in 1925. However Quorn only recently became easily accessible to South Africans. What I aim to achieve with this project is to establish whether Mycoproteins are the best way forward. WHAT IS MYCOPROTEIN Mycoproteins are derived from the fungus Fusarium venenatum . This fungus is grown in a fermentation vat filled with glucose syrup and minerals and vitamins. To maintain growth oxygen is pumped in, carbon dioxide is removed and the vat is kept at a temperature between 350C to 420C. To form the all important protein, nitrogen is consistently added to the fungus. The result of all this optimization is that the fungus can double its mass every five hours. However even with this fast production rate the fungus must be dried to ~10% water, this was the main cost in the production of other single cell proteins. Of the dry mass of the fungus approximately 48% is protein with the remainder being fat, carbohydrates and cell wall. Currently the best single cell protein production system is unibio s u loop technology which converts natural gas into a highly concentrated, 71%, protein product. The mycoprotein used in Quorn was chosen above the natural gas system because the hyphae in the fungus are similar in length and width to genuine muscle fibres which gives the quorn a more realistic meaty texture. Knowledge Probe: According to.epa.gov/acidrain/measure/pH.html, pH is a measure of the hydrogen ion concentration of a solution. Solutions with a high concentration of hydrogen ions have a low pH and solutions with a low concentrations of H+ ions have a high pH. A pH of 7 is the most neutral you can get and 0 being the most acidic and 14 being the most basic. each level is 10 times more basic/ acidic than the previous level, for example a pH of 8 is 10 times more basic than 7, and a pH of 9 is 100 times more basic than 7. when an acidic substance reacts with a basic substance they counter each other like mixing hot and cold water. ... • 28. Jesus Reflection Welcome back! Thank you for joining me in going just a little deeper in discovering how Jesus kept Himself from resentment. The following passage took place in September or October of 29AD right before the Feast of Tabernacles (Booths). This feast was a time of celebration and thanksgiving for the harvest. It was also a time spent remembering God s faithfulness to Israel during their 40 years wandering in the wilderness after Moses lead their escape from captivity in Egypt. Please read John 7:1 10. This passage helps us see how fully human Jesus really was, just as He was fully God. His Godness was so well hidden for 30 years that even His family, those closest to Him who lived in the same house with Him for all those years, couldn t see that He was God in flesh form. They ate together, learned together, worked together, slept in the same rooms, worshipped and celebrated the same God together. And in all that time, they never saw that He was God. How could that be? What a mystery! Like most Jews in that day, Jesus brothers believed that the Messiah would lead the Jews militarily to freedom from Roman captivity. They determined that He had nothing to offer them once they realized that Jesus had no intention of causing an insurrection to build an earthly kingdom. Their blood relationship to Him was not going to gain them any personal advancement, honor and privilege. His brothers taunted Jesus to go to Jerusalem for the Feast of Booths. Although ... The WHO (2011) has acknowledged the noise environmental impact as a serious burden of disease, and recent contemporary studies have recognized a link between aviation noise and cardiovascular disease (Hnasel 2013). Limited Airspace and Airports Capacities Busy airports have sometimes had to keep aircrafts in the air in wait to land due to the lack of space and inefficient planning on arrivals and departures. This causes an increase in costs of fuel and other harmful effects. The capacity of runways, reception by taxis and the whole port should be increased to allow a smooth flow of activities.
