Odobenus rosmarus rosmarus inhabits artic waters. They usually are seen on islands in the artic and on
floating sheets of ice called ice floes. They are also usually found and seen in groups called herds
(Burt, 1952). Atlantic walrus need large open bodies of water that are shallow, less than 80m, because
those areas are usually rich in clams and invertebrates for them to eat. Walrus also need ice or land
nearby so they can haul out of the water. In the summer and fall when the ice is scarce, they will haul
out in large groups near low rocky shores (DFO, 2017).

purposes a reduction in Laser s group tax would give the company more funding to conduct its
technological and medical research.

Ask any author what the most important aspect of their work is (whether that be fiction or not) and
they will all probably say the same four things: plot, setting, characters, and narration. This is also true
for the three novels we have studied thus far in class: Vathek, The Castle of Otranto, and The

centered plot lines all make these books Gothic novels, but how would one characterize the narrators?
