United States V. Wade Case Study
Case Citation: United States v. Wade, 388 U.S. 218 Parties: Billy Joe Wade, Petitioner Facts: A Texas
bank was held up on September 21, 1964 there were two employees (witness s) in the bank.
Subsequently, on April 2, 1965 Billy Joe Wade and two other suspects were arrested and charged with
the Bank Robbery crime(s). An FBI lineup was arranged without notice that contained up to six
prisoners and Wade. No defense counsel was present to represent Wade and he was picked out of the
lineup as the bank robber. The trial found bank employees cross examined relative to the lineup. (1.)
Procedural History: The main issues center around the Fifth and Sixth Amendments and a lack of
counsel for the accused which were used as an arguments to request acquittal ... Show more content on

Issue 1: Yes, It was a majority rule that the Sixth Amendment right to counsel had exercised a risk

stages of the trial. Issue 2: No: Neither the lineup or any other legal requirements were violated
against the defendants right to self incrimination based on the fact submitting the defendant to a lineup
does not force the accused to give away evidence. Reasoning: Issue 1: The denial of legal counsel
during the original collection of blood, fingerprints, clothing etc., did not violate the accuser s rights
with the lineup, as counsel s absence did not cause the defendants ability to have a fair trial. Issue 2:

Marx s Term For Capitalist
Bourgeoisie: Page 10; Marx s term for capitalist, those who own the means of production.
The food production companies have accentually bought the government. If they come up with a plan
to produce more food, no matter how harmful it may be to the consumer, the government will not step
in to protect the citizen of Americans. As the bourgeoisie owns the industry, this fact has been proven
within the video of Food Inc. What is astonishing is that a company was actually able to get a patent
on life. How can a company be allowed to monopolize an entire industry? That is depriving people of
their basic human right of life, to eat healthy food, food that has not been modified by harmful
hormones or genetics. Several of the food production companies give jobs to illegal immigrants and
once their services are no longer needed, then the heads of these companies call immigration to have
them arrested and deported back to their home country. This in turn saves the company money
because they do not have to pay out anything for unemployment wages for laying the employees off
for a period of time. The food industry has really become the bourgeoisie of this century.
Proletariat: Page 10: Marx s term for the exploited class, the mass of workers who do not have the
means of production.
In this case, this class of workers is the farmers and the people who work in the food production plant.
The farmers are forced to purchase seed from a company, which sells nothing expect GMO seed.

Dr. Dodds, And Conroy s The Freedom Of The City
The true statement, although Dr. Dodds, and Conroy s ... outsider status makes possible a useful
degree of critical distance, ultimately Conroy and Dodds are ill equipped to explain communal
passions that shaped political life in the North during the 1980 s , is misleading. The statement suggest
that Dr. Dodds and Conroy s outsider status automatically gives them the ability to use critical
distance, however both John Conroy, in his book Belfast Diary, and Dr Dodds, in Brian Friel s The
Freedom of the City, fail to use critical distance in their analysis of what is happening in Northern
Ireland. Critical distance is defined as the introduction of a stranger into a society that is able to be
detached from the society, and has the ability to recognize and empathize with all points of view
within that society. In addition to that, the statement also seems suggest that Dr. Dodds and Conroy are
the ill equipped to explain the communal passions in Northern Ireland simply because they are
outsiders. However, even the locals seem to lack the ability to understand their own communal
passions in the political conflict of the North during the eighties. When referring to critical distance
the statement suggest that Conroy and Dr. Dodds use critical distance when both of them, however,
fail to use this useful sociological tool. While tanks drive into the city and disrupt a peaceful match,
Dr. Dodds, an American sociologist, obliviously claims that the violence in Northern Ireland is

Reaction Paper On Octopi
I have been fascinated by the intelligence and resourcefulness shown by octopi for the past few weeks
since I went scuba diving. The main purpose of this trip was to be able to learn more about octopi in
their natural habitat, as I had been given an assignment regarding the morality of consuming octopi. I
was given the opportunity to fully observe the complexity of octopi in their natural habitat. I realized
these animals capabilities people fear these almost harmless animals? In the past, I truly enjoyed the
savory taste of a variety of octopus inspired meals. Many people disregard the octopus, giving it little
to no thought unless there is a debate for dinner. Thinking of it as another average creature, as I did,
with little to no intelligence, this is a common misconception that is meant to give some kind of
justification when consuming the animal. In reality, octopi are one of the most intelligent species,
having highly developed sentient characteristics. The more research I did regarding the octopus, the
more my personal moral dilemma shifted to the support of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

I noticed a tremendous change in the way octopi were viewed in Japan, China, and Korea food and
more food, along with an occasional natural or cartoony picture of an octopus. On the other hand, I
was pleased to see that the creature is more respected in western society, not thought of as food or
childish cartoons. Most pictures found in the English language are more serious, showing octopi in
their natural state; sadly the same cannot be said for the lobster. Many restaurants in western society
cause the octopus unimaginable amounts of pain, some even provide the octopus still alive, to be
devoured by the participant; giving the octopus more than enough time to realize it s soon to end

Failure Definition Essay
Success is something that is earned, not given. It s setting a goal for yourself and not letting failure try
and stop you. Failure is a hard lesson to learn, but it teaches us not to give up and to keep trying.
Failure is part of the journey to success. Downs happen so the ups can follow. Failure just makes us
work harder for what we want. The most rewarding thing is overcoming the obstacles and reaching
full potential. Bella Throne was like any other kid her age, excited to start school. Though, when she

Causes Of Gossiping In Flooding
To solve the problems of flooding, an approach known as gossiping, has been proposed [ref].
Gossiping uses a simple forwarding method and does not need costly topology maintenance. It uses a
randomized rule to forward data packets. Each sensor node transmits the incoming data packet to a
randomly selected neighbor. After receiving the data packet, the neighbor randomly chooses one of its
own neighbors and transmits the packet to the neighbor chosen. This process continues until the data
packet reaches its destination or the hop count is exceeded. Gossiping limits the number of data
packets that each sensor node is sent to its neighbor to one copy which avoids the implosion problem.
However, random selection of neighboring node is an unsafe ... Show more content on

When a sensor node has new data, it advertises it using the ADV messages to its neighbors. When a
neighboring node receives this message, it checks whether it has already received or requested the
advertised data. If not, it sends an REQ message back to the broadcast address requesting the data
item. Upon receiving a REQ message, only the originating node sends the actual data to the requesting
nodes. One advantage of this protocol is its simplicity and does not require any other topology
information.
2. SPIN EC: In this protocol, the sensor nodes using the same 3 way handshake protocol to
communicate with each other as in SPIN PP but energy is considered to be a constraint. A sensor node
will only participate in the protocol if it is above a certain energy threshold and supposes it can
complete all other stages of the protocol. If a sensor node receives an advertisement message, it will
not transmit an REQ message if it does not have enough energy to transmit it and receive the
corresponding DATA message.
3. SPIN BC: This protocol has been designed for broadcast networks in which the sensor nodes use a
single shared channel to communicate. When a sensor node transmits a message, it is received by all
other nodes within a certain range of the sender node. In this protocol, a sensor node which has
received an advertising message does not immediately respond with an REQ message. It has to wait
for a certain time before transmitting the REQ message. When other sensor

The Between Religion And Music Essay
Music and religion are often intertwined, whether it be religious chanting or hymns used to worship.
However, in the case of Islam, the relationship between religion and music is more strained, as Islamic
law strictly forbids listening to music. However, there is a very strong religious debate on what
constitutes music as diversion and what is acceptable to use in worship and religious purposes. There
are two concepts in Islam which are relevant to this conversation: sama and ghina. The ghina is the
simpler of the two, referring to music and performance associated with secular art music; this is
normally banished. Ghina is the only genre which is referred to as music . The sama, on the other
hand, is more complex. Sama, which literally means listening and thus, includes the music being
listened to (as well as dance as performed by mystic societies) is more complex. The abundance of
writings about the sama is chiefly due to the debate surrounding the legality of music and dance from
a legal, mystical, and religious perspective. Some elements of music have been categorized as
acceptable sama by religious authorities, including Koran cantillation, singing of unaccompanied
hymns, old Bedouin songs, and simple functional folk songs used to mark events in a community or
individual s life, thus considering them to be non music .
Since the beginning of Islam, there has been disagreement on what is to be considered sama, with
religious leaders stances ranging from

Elements Of A Semantic Approach To Film Genre
How is a genre picked for a film? There are many theorists and critics that judge the films and voice
an option and eventual a genre is picked for the movies. There are many different kinds of genres,
however, todays focus is on the genre type fantasy. What in a fantasy film makes it a fantasy genre?
This paper will break down what a film genre truly is, explain how costume design can effect viewers,
and describe the key elements of a film in detail to determine what makes it a fantasy genre.
The word genre refers to a type or category of designated motion picture productions. In other words,
a genre serves as an upfront guarantee that the audience can expect to find a certain emotional appeal
in that film. This allows the viewer to positively know they will get to see similar kinds of films that
they prefer to view. In the article, A Semantic/Syntactic Approach to Film Genre, lists some key
elements, [...] we can as a whole distinguish between generic definitions which depend on a list of
common traits, attitudes, characters, shots, locations, sets, and the like[...] , (page 10). Here is another
explanation from the book, American Cinema/American Culture by John Belton, express in more
detail, Films that belong to a specific genre draw from a fairly fixed body of character and story types,
setting and situations, costumes and props, thematic concerns and visual iconography, and conventions
that are shared by other films in that particular genre. (page 124). The book and

Reenactment In Macbeth
The scenes selected in this reenactment include Act 1 Scene 3, Act 2, Scene 2 and Act 5, Scene 8.
These acts were chosen to be reenacted because they include some of the most important points in the
plot in the entire play. Throughout Act 1, Scene 3, Macbeth meets the three witches and learns of his
destiny to become king of Scotland. This is an important scene to include because the rest of the play
revolves around Macbeth s actions in order to fulfill his destiny. This scene essentially sets up the rest
of the play. To add, Act 2, Scene 2 was chosen because it contains the murder of Duncan in order for
Macbeth to become king and reign over Scotland. This is a crucial scene to include as many of
Macbeth s actions in this scene cause implications later on in the play, when people finally begin to
discover Duncan s true murderer. Moreover, this scene demonstrates a major theme in the play,
excessive ambition or hubris. Alike many other tragic heroes, Macbeth s tragic flaw is hubris relating
to his strong desire to become king. Macbeth s longing to become king compels him to murder the
current ruler of Scotland, Duncan, creating further ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
As a director, I believe that these elements were successfully displayed throughout the reenactment.
This is due to the overall impact that the video has. As it is easily comprehensible, smooth and
contains animations that tie in well with the theme of ambition causing pain, this video is successful.
The decisions made throughout the making of this reenactment were made to enhance the overall
impact of the video. The facial expressions were added to convey the emotions throughout the play
and the narrations were edited based on the quality of the animations. Ultimately, this reenactment is
successful in demonstrating a theme, portraying a major character and in its

In an Essay Explain What Insights Are Offered Through an...
Identity is about perception, the way someone sees themselves and their surroundings, the set of rules
that they follow, their morals, the decisions they make, the way they look and the way they think. This
is shaped by their location and experiences, as well as by other humans. Identity is represented in
many ways through poetry, music, books, paintings and other mediums. Bruce Dawe represents the
identity of two very different types of people in his poems Homo Suburbiensis and Drifters where he
represents the identity of his subjects through more of a specific description of a certain set of people
and not any person in particular in an informative tone , while Dorothea Mackellar focuses more on
her own identity in her poem, My ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Similarly, Dawe s poem Homo Suburbiensis is aimed to present a suburban man as a species of
human, rather than an individual. This is done through the latinised title, sounding like a scientific
name for an animal, rather than a human being. The informative tone is also present in this poem as it
is in the previous poem. As we look through a proverbial magnifying glass into the life of the man, the
poem examines even the smallest of details during those few seconds the man spends in his garden as
we observe him. We learn that he is in a vegetable patch and the line all the things he takes down with
him there suggests more than garden tools, but also his thoughts, specifically his problems and
worries, which may be depicted as a weight one may be carrying. This suggests to us that his
vegetable patch is a sanctuary, his own personal private place of relaxation where he can sink into his
own mind and think things over. The second stanza uses sensory imagery to let the reader put himself
in the place of the man in the garden, no longer simply observing him, which helps the reader develop
a more accurate picture of exactly the state of mind the man may be in during his time in his garden.
The clatter of a dish in a sink that could be his suggests that he is married, which could imply children,
making his garden all the more an escape,

Types And Types Of Hpv Vaccine
Most sexually active individuals will have detectable human papillomavirus (HPV) at least once in
their lifetime. 14 million people are infected annually, and 79 million people have the prevalent
infection. Approximate 5% of the cancers globally are HPV associated anogenital or oral cancers (1).
HPV is transmitted frequently between partners; more frequent transmission has been reported from
females to males than from males to females (2). The incidence of anal and oral cancers related to
HPV is increasing in the general population and is growing even faster among individuals who are
immunocompromised because of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection (3, 4). Two
prophylactic vaccines (Gardasil and Cervarix) have been approved for a decade. Recently, the
nonavalent vaccine including additional high risk HPV types is promised to provide more coverage
against cervical cancers (5). The HPV vaccine is recommended routinely for 11 or 12 year olds, as
well as for young men through age 21 years and young women through age 26 years who have not
previously been vaccinated. HPV vaccine is also recommended for men who have sex with men
(MSM), people living with HIV/AIDS, and immunocompromised persons through age 26 years.
However, the high risk HPV types included in the nonavalent vaccine contribute little to anal,
oropharyngeal, penile, vulvar and vaginal cancer (5, 6).
HPV infection is mostly asymptomatic, but may also have many diverse clinical signs encompassing

Democracy In The Lesson By Toni Cade Bambara
While the United States government is proclaimed to be a democracy, it consists many of the
imperfections demonstrated in the story written by Toni Cade Bambara, The Lesson . The protagonist
as well as her friends are enlightened as they explore a new environment, a toy store that contrasts
greatly with the slums they ventured from. Although the difference between the wealthy children and
the youth described in the story is missing, the injustice is displayed by their surroundings in addition
to the interactions they have with each toy they find. Through these expensive gadgets, the children
are shown how defective their democracy is, observing the many injustices inflicted on them and their
families. In a rights based society, there should ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Consequently, through being raised in an unjust system, these children demonstrate the importance of
living in a true democracy while they resort to habits that oppose a rights based society. Due to their
upbringings, they inflict the same injustices imposed on them. The protagonist is shown to interact
with the world in a negative manner, believing that due to her situation, she is allowed to get away
with stealing. For instance, when attempting to cheat the cab driver out of money, she decide[s] he
do[es]n t need it [as] bad as I do (Bambara 83), reasoning that the money is more useful for her family
than the cab drivers. This selfish judgement, like the inequality already imposed on her by society,
reveals how distorted her understanding of democracy is. A nation cannot function as a democracy if
not all understand the value of it; if given a taste of the true system, the children in this account would
not think of ways to corrupt it. By giving all an equal standard of living, negative thoughts like such
will dissipate. Likewise, when the group of children meet up with Miss Moore, Sugar asks very

The Safety Of Autonomous Vehicles
Smart Cars
Gartner has estimated that by 2020 there will be 250 million connected cars on the worlds roads,
which has left a considerable asking questions about the safety of autonomous vehicles (Scott). An
autonomous vehicle is a mode of transportation that does not need a person driving it.
Cisco s Smart Connected Vehicles division has a hypothesis which states that autonomous cars could
eliminate as 85 percent of head on collisions. One of the greatest problems that smart cars face is
getting people to trust them. In a study conducted by Carlnsur, it found that 80 percent of people
would not purchase a self driving car if they had the option, citing their main reason of opposition as a
lack of trust in the computer to get them to their destination safely (Young).
Furthermore, because the cars will be able to communicate with each other Cisco believes that the
traffic would be lighter and therefore save drivers time spent in traffic. Henceforth, by cars spending
less time in traffic there will be less carbon released into the air and fuel costs will decrease, which
will lead to a more sustainable environment.
Smart Trains
Nearly $30 billion will be spent in the next 15 years on the IoT projects in the railway industry,
according to Cisco. This is expensive because extremely old infrastructure will need to be replaced
with cutting edge technologies. The new IoT technology will be able to allow for more productivity
and a safer ride.

Abolish The Child Support System Essay
Abolish the Child Support System
Child support should no longer be feasible in the United States, because it is outdated, tough on low
income fathers and most importantly undermines the efforts of the fathers who do get involve in their
child s life. Sadly, the government merely focus on the enforcement portion of the law. Child support
in this day and age has prolonged its deceptive theory of actually supporting the child with the absence
of a parent; typically a father. In the United States, when parents do not live together, children most
often live with their mothers (Grall 2009). Granted that more women and government have taken
advantage of the absences of fathers; without facing any repercussions for their actions. In the end,
such absences carry detrimental effect on most children who are raised by a single parent with the
government hypothetical assistance. These pressing issues are becoming prominent as most children
in the U.S. spends some portion of their childhood living apart from at least one of their parents (Grall
2009). Part of this occurs mainly because of high divorce rates as well as an unprecedented increase of
childbirth to unmarried parents. In fact, one of the greatest indicator for poverty and welfare
dependency is a child born to a single mother headed household (McCormick 2004). This concept
does not merely dismantle the importance of family values, but it also promotes the continuous cycle
of single parenting. For this reason, having a

Presentation script Bibliography
Monday 20th April
Hello, as you all may know my names Ami Watson.
Today s presentation will offer you an insight into my exploration of dreams and the influences they
offer our creative stimulus in response to photography.
Throughout this presentation I aim to offer you all an insight into the world of surrealism and dreams.
Firstly I will introduce you to the surrealist movement and some relevant themes with surrealist art.
Then explore the defined states of consciousness, moving into explaining what a dream is. Next will
be a brief touch on what influences visual stimulating tools have upon art, flowing through to
surrealism and dreams. Here I will talk about the contrasting views of the surrealist and Freudian
opinions of dream definition and expression.
After I will produce a few artists who have used dreams to influence their creativity within bodies of
work, each using different aspects of dreams as a tool. And to wrap up my exploration I will produce
my conclusion on the matter and express how this body of research has influenced me within my own
photography. Thank you for listening, I hope you enjoy.

Popular Cars Research Paper
Popular Cars Any gearhead knows that not just any car will do for a project. What kind should be
chosen, though? This mainly depends on the person working on the vehicle. For any newcomer, the
range of possible project vehicles can be staggering to approach, for there are many possibilities for a
person to chose. An effective project usually focuses on a tuner car, muscle car, or sports car. These
are the differences between them all. A tuner car is defined as a vehicle that is easy to modify and has

They can be anywhere from small to medium in size and take to forms of traditional sedans, mass

The Concept Of Emotional Branding
The concept of emotional branding refers to the relationship and connection people have with certain
brands. Built through strategic marketing and communications, brands have been able to develop
campaigns that shape attitudes of its audiences that drive decision making and behaviour. The concept
stems from the realization that many customers do not, in fact, make buying decisions through a
purely rational approach, focusing solely on the financials, and attributes of products, but rather, these
decisions are influences in large part by their emotions. While many purchasing decisions are certainly
influenced by the subconscious emotions of the consumer, emotional branding can also determine the
strength and length of a customer ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
For example, Volvo has historically focused its campaigns around it s superior safety features, but
with the advancement of technology in recent years, Volvo has been losing its position as a leader for
safe vehicles and its market share as a result. This is a great example of what could happen to an
automotive firm that focuses solely on the attributes of its vehicles and ignoring the potential of
emotional branding. There is little doubt that Volvo could have leveraged its position as a leader in
safety to develop strong emotional marketing communications and messaging, but it has failed to do
so, forcing the brand to rethink the way it positions itself relative to its competition.
Conversely, German automaker, BMW, has been successful at capturing the hearts and minds of
consumers through its Ultimate Driving Machine campaign which feature its vehicles driving through
opulent scenery with a focus on posh and luxurious interiors, suggesting that their cars are the ultimate
status of success and that working hard deserves to be rewarded with the best. Moreover, BMW s
commitment to post purchase service and customer experience (BMW offers owners Driver Training
where they can drive their cars around a closed track at ungodly speeds) has had significant returns,
with the brand experiencing the highest rates of repurchase of any luxury car brand. Similarly, VW s
Das Auto and Drivers Wanted campaigns, were wildly successful at attracting

Romeo And Juliet Double Entry Essay
Things are going upside down for me. First, my brother was snatched by the cruel waves away from
me. Second, I have fallen in love with my master Duke Orsino, but cannot declare it, as I am disguised
as a eunuch. Third, just when I am burdened with troubles, another arrowhead has to fall on my back.
It appears that the Countess Olivia, whom my master has sent me to woo on his behalf, has apparently
fallen for me on our first meeting, without even knowing my name! I have no idea how she managed
it. I am still getting used to my male disguise and am speaking of my master, not myself. I wonder
how and I wonder why she did it. It now seems that only time will tell.

Olivia loves me, I thought. But she is loved by Orsino. She cannot have you. Thoughts were racing
through my head faster than the finest thoroughbred horse. I was overcome with confusion. Why me?
My master will kill me if he finds out!
The truth hit me with a bang. I am trapped. No, correction. We are trapped. By we , I mean me, Olivia
and Orsino. In a tangled love triangle. I cry softly to myself that Olivia may pine her days away for
me, the unattainable husband. In turn, I will weep for Orsino and my inability to reveal my true
feelings. Lastly, I shed more tears for Orsino, to see him in this state wrenches my heart to bits. For
the lady who does not desire him, whose lack of love is stabbing him.
How will I ever go on living like this? I will still be meeting my master and Olivia daily, no doubt.
Will I succumb to Olivia s desires and rip Orsino s heart, lungs and all, or reveal my true identity to
Orsino and shred Olivia s already battered heart? I guess the best solution is to keep the three of us
trapped in limbo for the longest time possible until something happens that purifies the air or one of us
leaves. I leave it to time and fate to unravel the ending of this

I would like to tell you about cancer therapy and how we can heal of it ,
As we know patients of cancer take chemotherapy and some of them die and they didn t heal.
Chemotherapy is the use of one or more anticancer (cytotoxic) drugs to damage cancer cells so they
can t grow and reproduce. Chemotherapy is most effective on cells that are actively growing and
dividing. Because many cancer cells tend to grow and divide quickly, they are sensitive to the effects
of chemotherapy.
After cancer patients receive chemotherapy, they sometimes need a sedative

The State University Of New York
Introduction
The State University of New York (2014) provides and clear and accurate description of globalization:
Globalization is a process of interaction and integration among the people, companies, and
governments of different nations, a process driven by international trade and investment and aided by
information technology. This process has effects on the environment, on culture, on political systems,
on economic development and prosperity, and on human physical well being in societies around the
world (The State University of New York, 2014, para 1). Global economics affects the decisions of
firms, governments, and individuals in the United State in many different ways. The World Trade
Organization manages the rules and trade between nations and has a significant impact on intellectual
property rights. Intellectual property rights refer creations of the mind, such as inventions; literary and
artistic works; designs; and symbols, names and images used in commerce (World Intellectual
Property Organization, 2014). The purpose of this paper is to compare and contrast free trade and
protectionist theories, analyze how the global environment functions on a micro and macro level
within the context of the World Trade Organization, analyze the two level game theory and how
organizations make financial decisions in a globalized environment, and determine which parties
benefit from either increasing or decreasing trade restriction.

A Relationship Between Physical Properties And Mental...
The relationship between the physical and the mental is an issue that philosophers have pondered for
centuries, and this issue still remains relevant today. In the attempt to determine the relationship
between physical properties and mental properties two schools of thoughts emerged: Monism and
Dualism. People who subscribe to monism believe physical properties, such as color and location, as
well as mental properties, such as emotions and beliefs, are all one entity. Materialisms, the most
popular form of monism, claims that everything mental is also physical. On the other end of the
spectrum, Dualists believe that physical and mental properties are two separate entities. This paper
will address the merits of interactionist substance dualism (interactionism) and epiphenomenalist
property dualism (epiphenomenalism) as well as functionalism which is a type of materialism.
The debate between dualism and materialism has retained its relevance today even though most
contemporary philosophers believe materialism to be true. This is in large part due to the implications
that comes with both views. If dualism is true, this means that there are some things that science will
never be able to explain because science only has the ability to explain the physical. Therefore,
dualism does not correspond with a scientific worldview which indicates why most scientists and
philosophers are reluctant to accept this view. On the other hand, if materialism is true the possibility

Utilitarian Judgement In Nursing
This correlates to our society having utilitarian judgment that sways our opinions in a way that we
often put ourselves (abled bodied) first, opposed to others. This part of the study, although a different
condition, confirms that these parents that are willing to let their child die because they are disabled
and are a part of the population who are affected by this new order of utilitarian judgement. Medical
advances teeter on respect for autonomy and abandonment of someone deemed to have a life not
worth living. When a patient becomes or is disabled the futile care theory comes in as an independent
variable deciding whether that person is deserving of their life. Several points need to be made about

Organs are more viable when they are taken from a body that was continually pumping blood and
nutrients up until the harvest. In past years, movies and media have portrayed medical professionals
harvesting organs from living or brain active people. While this is just an exaggeration playing on
most people s common fears, it is not a total misinterpretation. The organ market is in dire need of
healthy, fresh organs and since demand is higher than supply a group of people are being
discriminated against when it comes to receiving organs they need. The number of waitlisted patients
over 65 years of age has tripled. Unfortunately, the transplant wait‐list has increased far more quickly
than the supply of deceased‐donor kidneys (Curtis). This increase of older patients in need of kidneys
leads to medial professionals making independent utilitarian judgements on who deserves them most.
The nation s organ transplant network is considering giving younger, healthier people preference over
older, sicker patients for the best kidneys. Instead of giving priority primarily to patients who have
been on the waiting list longest, the new rules would match recipients and organs to a greater extent
based on factors such as age and health to try to maximize the number of years provided by each
kidney the most sought after organ for transplants (Stein). These new rules

Traditional Beliefs Of The M Ā Ori And The Rural Urban...
Whenua is the Māori term for land, it also refers to placenta (notion of birth). Land was and still is
extremely important to the Māori people. From the time the Maori people set foot on Aotearoa, their
way of life is highly revolved around the land. They have an immeasurable respect for the land and it
holds the utmost significance. This essay will explore traditional beliefs of whenua such as the
creation myth and the importance of Tāne. It will also discuss the importance to the Māori and how
the loss of land (after the Treaty of Waitangi) played such a significant role. It will also explore the
location of Māori and the rural urban drift, from the 1940s and still very much evident in today s
society, as well as the influence of Pakeha and other cultures. My theory is that the significance of the
land has changed overtime from traditional usage; to the way it is today. The traditional beliefs such as
Māori myths play an important role to whenua. The creation myth involving the separation of
Papatūānuku and Ranginui created light in a world, which was previously full of darkness. The gap
created from Papa and Rangi created the land and the sky. In most creation traditions Tāne mahuta
separated the earth and the sky. He is highly significant as he is the god of the forest. In forests trees
are often seen as Tāne mahuta reaching up to split the earth and sky. All life is seen as being born from
the womb of Papatūānuku, under the sea. The lands that appear above water

Disadvantages Of Geothermal Energy
Introduction
Over the past several years the realization of a limited amount of renewable resources has pushed for a
more environmentally friendly form of utilities. This realization has shifted the mindset of the
consumer to prefer a more green and economical utility free home using sustainable energy sources.
The scientists at Whole Life Energy are analyzing the use of geothermal energy to meet the
requirements of our consumers and environment. This report covers what geothermal energy is,
different types of geothermal energy, and geothermal energy advantages.
What is Geothermal Energy
Geothermal energy is the routing of liquid filled tubing underneath the Earth s surface to absorb heat.
A small pump is used to circulate the liquid, so the heat can be extracted in the home or business. The
earth absorbs and stores about half the suns energy. Due to this massive absorption, the earth
maintains a fairly constant temperature of 45 70 degrees Fahrenheit at a depth of 6 feet (Rinkesh,
2017). This constant temperature will allow our company to tap into a never ending supply of heat
production. Depending on the size of facility needing heating will determine the depth of the tubing
required to draw the appropriate energy. The EPA states, farther below the surface, the temperature
increases at an average rate of approximately 1°F for every 70 feet in depth (Renewable Heating and
Cooling, 2016). This flexibility allows us the ability to customize the conditioning

The Guest Character Analysis
Albert Campus is an award winning author who has received a Nobel Peace Prize for his literature. In
1957 he wrote, L Hôte a word in the french vocabulary that has a double meaning translating to guest
and host. Although, in English it only translates to the guest. This is the first ambiguous clue in the
story that points out Campus s beliefs, and gives readers a point of observation. The Guest is a short
story about an Algerian Born Frenchman with the occupation of teaching. He lives in a desolate that is
isolated and rarely has visitors. Whereas, one day a corsican named Balducci comes there on
horseback because he was given government orders to deliver an Arab criminal. Balducci then gave
Daru the news that the government has also ordered Daru that he must then deliver the Arab to jail.
With this news Daru then struggles to decide whether he should bring the Arab to jail or set him free.
It is an internal struggle that Daru and the Arab have to face between choosing right from wrong and
understanding if the two meanings matter. Campuses ambiguous writing distinguishes that by not
taking total responsibility of a choice, that itself is a choice. Daru and the Arab both have conflicting
choices that they face throughout the entire short story suggests that whether one may want to or not
there are choices underlyingly people make.
Daru is initially conflicted between having a strong opinion about following the code of law, and the
wrongdoing of the crime the Arab has

The Importance Of Innocence And Experience By William Blake
Innocence and Experience: How William Blake Challenged Society
(More background on Blake here and how he came up with innocence/experience)
(https://www.mtholyoke.edu/courses/rschwart/hist255/jkr/romanticism.html) Romanticism was a
literary movement that swept through virtually every country of Europe, the United States, and Latin
America that lasted from about 1750 to 1870. This period included philosophy, art, music, literature.
(https://www.bl.uk/romantics and victorians/articles/the romantics) Romantics believed that men and
women should not be guided by rules placed on them by society but led by warm emotions that
promoted a sense of freedom. William Blake was one of the poets that began the Romantic Age who
promoted self expression but was weighed down by the importance and standards of religion. Literary
work during Romanticism had a strong emphasis in implementing nature, emotion over logic,
imagination over reason, and no division between art and literature. These works placed focus on
human personality affected by political and social causes. These became dominant themes in romantic
poetry which made literature much more complex. In the late eighteenth and nineteenth century, child
labor in England was prominent after the Great Fire of London in 1666. After this massive fire in
London, chimneys had to be built slimmer due to new regulations to keep the city safer. Chimney
sweeping was done by poor boys at ages as young as four after they were sold.

The Influence Of The Global Democratic Community Of Nations
itself. Security cooperation initiatives undertaken by USNORTHCOM and USSOUTHCOM are
crucial in the development of viable partners. Despite perceptions to the contrary, Latin America does
exercise its military power globally. In World War II, Brazil deployed an infantry division to the
European theater and Mexico deployed a fighter squadron to the Pacific theater. More recently, El
Salvador conducted multiple troop rotations in Iraq, while Uruguay regularly deploys peacekeeping
forces in Africa. Strengthening alliances and military capabilities make it less likely that a rising
power will risk military confrontation with the United States and its allies.

The Center for Systemic Peace s Polity Project found almost every country that it studied in the region
scored five or more in its democratic scale, with solidly democratic societies such as Costa Rica,
Uruguay, and Chile trending toward the upper ranks. Only Cuba, Haiti, and Venezuela scored poorly.
Likewise, Freedom House graded totalitarian Cuba as the only unfree country in the region. Regional
public opinion surveys point in a similar direction.
This remarkable synergy leads some experts, such as Parag Khanna, to suggest Elevating South
America to its rightful place as the third pillar of the West alongside Europe and North America .
However, if Khanna s vision of a third pillar is to be realized, the United States will need to alleviate
security concerns that plague the region and drain its potential. The region still faces a number of
issues that interfere with its democratic consolidation and potential for global leadership roles.
Because many of these issues are security issues, they are relevant to U.S. national security planning.
The most recent difficulties have been authoritarian politics, in the face of which liberal synergies are
automatically dismantled; and criminal violence that impedes countries from fully realizing their
potential. The United States has had its share of negative experiences trying to work on the first
challenge, but there are ways

Wade, 388 U.S. 218 Parties: Billy Joe Wade, Petitioner Facts: A Texas bank was held up on September 21, 1964 there were two employees (witness s) in the bank. Subsequently, on April 2, 1965 Billy Joe Wade and two other suspects were arrested and charged with the Bank Robbery crime(s). An FBI lineup was arranged without notice that contained up to six prisoners and Wade. No defense counsel was present to represent Wade and he was picked out of the lineup as the bank robber. The trial found bank employees cross examined relative to the lineup. (1.) Issue 2: No: Neither the lineup or any other legal requirements were violated against the defendants right to self incrimination based on the fact submitting the defendant to a lineup does not force the accused to give away evidence. Reasoning: Issue 1: The denial of legal counsel during the original collection of blood, fingerprints, clothing etc., did not violate the accuser s rights with the lineup, as counsel s absence did not cause the defendants ability to have a fair trial. • 3. Marx s Term For Capitalist Bourgeoisie: Page 10; Marx s term for capitalist, those who own the means of production. The food production companies have accentually bought the government. If they come up with a plan to produce more food, no matter how harmful it may be to the consumer, the government will not step in to protect the citizen of Americans. As the bourgeoisie owns the industry, this fact has been proven within the video of Food Inc. What is astonishing is that a company was actually able to get a patent on life. How can a company be allowed to monopolize an entire industry? That is depriving people of their basic human right of life, to eat healthy food, food that has not been modified by harmful hormones or genetics. Several of the food production companies give jobs to illegal immigrants and once their services are no longer needed, then the heads of these companies call immigration to have them arrested and deported back to their home country. This in turn saves the company money because they do not have to pay out anything for unemployment wages for laying the employees off for a period of time. The food industry has really become the bourgeoisie of this century. Proletariat: Page 10: Marx s term for the exploited class, the mass of workers who do not have the means of production. In this case, this class of workers is the farmers and the people who work in the food production plant. The farmers are forced to purchase seed from a company, which sells nothing expect GMO seed. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. Dr. Dodds, And Conroy s The Freedom Of The City The true statement, although Dr. Dodds, and Conroy s ... outsider status makes possible a useful degree of critical distance, ultimately Conroy and Dodds are ill equipped to explain communal passions that shaped political life in the North during the 1980 s , is misleading. The statement suggest that Dr. Dodds and Conroy s outsider status automatically gives them the ability to use critical distance, however both John Conroy, in his book Belfast Diary, and Dr Dodds, in Brian Friel s The Freedom of the City, fail to use critical distance in their analysis of what is happening in Northern Ireland. Critical distance is defined as the introduction of a stranger into a society that is able to be detached from the society, and has the ability to recognize and empathize with all points of view within that society. In addition to that, the statement also seems suggest that Dr. Dodds and Conroy are the ill equipped to explain the communal passions in Northern Ireland simply because they are outsiders. However, even the locals seem to lack the ability to understand their own communal passions in the political conflict of the North during the eighties. When referring to critical distance the statement suggest that Conroy and Dr. Dodds use critical distance when both of them, however, fail to use this useful sociological tool. While tanks drive into the city and disrupt a peaceful match, Dr. Dodds, an American sociologist, obliviously claims that the violence in Northern Ireland is ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 6. Reaction Paper On Octopi I have been fascinated by the intelligence and resourcefulness shown by octopi for the past few weeks since I went scuba diving. The main purpose of this trip was to be able to learn more about octopi in their natural habitat, as I had been given an assignment regarding the morality of consuming octopi. I was given the opportunity to fully observe the complexity of octopi in their natural habitat. I realized these animals capabilities people fear these almost harmless animals? In the past, I truly enjoyed the savory taste of a variety of octopus inspired meals. Many people disregard the octopus, giving it little to no thought unless there is a debate for dinner. Thinking of it as another average creature, as I did, with little to no intelligence, this is a common misconception that is meant to give some kind of justification when consuming the animal. In reality, octopi are one of the most intelligent species, having highly developed sentient characteristics. The more research I did regarding the octopus, the more my personal moral dilemma shifted to the support of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Most pictures found in the English language are more serious, showing octopi in their natural state; sadly the same cannot be said for the lobster. Failure is a hard lesson to learn, but it teaches us not to give up and to keep trying. Failure is part of the journey to success. Downs happen so the ups can follow. Failure just makes us work harder for what we want. The most rewarding thing is overcoming the obstacles and reaching full potential. • 8. Causes Of Gossiping In Flooding To solve the problems of flooding, an approach known as gossiping, has been proposed [ref]. Gossiping uses a simple forwarding method and does not need costly topology maintenance. It uses a randomized rule to forward data packets. Each sensor node transmits the incoming data packet to a randomly selected neighbor. After receiving the data packet, the neighbor randomly chooses one of its own neighbors and transmits the packet to the neighbor chosen. This process continues until the data packet reaches its destination or the hop count is exceeded. Gossiping limits the number of data packets that each sensor node is sent to its neighbor to one copy which avoids the implosion problem. However, random selection of neighboring node is an unsafe ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... When a sensor node has new data, it advertises it using the ADV messages to its neighbors. When a neighboring node receives this message, it checks whether it has already received or requested the advertised data. If not, it sends an REQ message back to the broadcast address requesting the data item. Upon receiving a REQ message, only the originating node sends the actual data to the requesting nodes. One advantage of this protocol is its simplicity and does not require any other topology information. 2. SPIN EC: In this protocol, the sensor nodes using the same 3 way handshake protocol to communicate with each other as in SPIN PP but energy is considered to be a constraint. A sensor node will only participate in the protocol if it is above a certain energy threshold and supposes it can complete all other stages of the protocol. If a sensor node receives an advertisement message, it will not transmit an REQ message if it does not have enough energy to transmit it and receive the corresponding DATA message. 3. SPIN BC: This protocol has been designed for broadcast networks in which the sensor nodes use a single shared channel to communicate. When a sensor node transmits a message, it is received by all other nodes within a certain range of the sender node. In this protocol, a sensor node which has received an advertising message does not immediately respond with an REQ message. It has to wait for a certain time before transmitting the REQ message. When other sensor ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 9. The Between Religion And Music Essay Music and religion are often intertwined, whether it be religious chanting or hymns used to worship. However, in the case of Islam, the relationship between religion and music is more strained, as Islamic law strictly forbids listening to music. However, there is a very strong religious debate on what constitutes music as diversion and what is acceptable to use in worship and religious purposes. There are two concepts in Islam which are relevant to this conversation: sama and ghina. The ghina is the simpler of the two, referring to music and performance associated with secular art music; this is normally banished. Ghina is the only genre which is referred to as music . The sama, on the other hand, is more complex. Sama, which literally means listening and thus, includes the music being listened to (as well as dance as performed by mystic societies) is more complex. The abundance of writings about the sama is chiefly due to the debate surrounding the legality of music and dance from a legal, mystical, and religious perspective. Some elements of music have been categorized as acceptable sama by religious authorities, including Koran cantillation, singing of unaccompanied hymns, old Bedouin songs, and simple functional folk songs used to mark events in a community or individual s life, thus considering them to be non music . Since the beginning of Islam, there has been disagreement on what is to be considered sama, with religious leaders stances ranging from ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 10. Elements Of A Semantic Approach To Film Genre How is a genre picked for a film? There are many theorists and critics that judge the films and voice an option and eventual a genre is picked for the movies. There are many different kinds of genres, however, todays focus is on the genre type fantasy. What in a fantasy film makes it a fantasy genre? This paper will break down what a film genre truly is, explain how costume design can effect viewers, and describe the key elements of a film in detail to determine what makes it a fantasy genre. The word genre refers to a type or category of designated motion picture productions. In other words, a genre serves as an upfront guarantee that the audience can expect to find a certain emotional appeal in that film. This allows the viewer to positively know they will get to see similar kinds of films that they prefer to view. In the article, A Semantic/Syntactic Approach to Film Genre, lists some key elements, [...] we can as a whole distinguish between generic definitions which depend on a list of common traits, attitudes, characters, shots, locations, sets, and the like[...] , (page 10). Here is another explanation from the book, American Cinema/American Culture by John Belton, express in more detail, Films that belong to a specific genre draw from a fairly fixed body of character and story types, setting and situations, costumes and props, thematic concerns and visual iconography, and conventions that are shared by other films in that particular genre. • 11. Reenactment In Macbeth The scenes selected in this reenactment include Act 1 Scene 3, Act 2, Scene 2 and Act 5, Scene 8. These acts were chosen to be reenacted because they include some of the most important points in the plot in the entire play. Throughout Act 1, Scene 3, Macbeth meets the three witches and learns of his destiny to become king of Scotland. This is an important scene to include because the rest of the play revolves around Macbeth s actions in order to fulfill his destiny. This scene essentially sets up the rest of the play. To add, Act 2, Scene 2 was chosen because it contains the murder of Duncan in order for Macbeth to become king and reign over Scotland. This is a crucial scene to include as many of Macbeth s actions in this scene cause implications later on in the play, when people finally begin to discover Duncan s true murderer. Moreover, this scene demonstrates a major theme in the play, excessive ambition or hubris. Alike many other tragic heroes, Macbeth s tragic flaw is hubris relating to his strong desire to become king. • 12. In an Essay Explain What Insights Are Offered Through an... Identity is about perception, the way someone sees themselves and their surroundings, the set of rules that they follow, their morals, the decisions they make, the way they look and the way they think. This is shaped by their location and experiences, as well as by other humans. Identity is represented in many ways through poetry, music, books, paintings and other mediums. Bruce Dawe represents the identity of two very different types of people in his poems Homo Suburbiensis and Drifters where he represents the identity of his subjects through more of a specific description of a certain set of people and not any person in particular in an informative tone , while Dorothea Mackellar focuses more on her own identity in her poem, My ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Similarly, Dawe s poem Homo Suburbiensis is aimed to present a suburban man as a species of human, rather than an individual. This is done through the latinised title, sounding like a scientific name for an animal, rather than a human being. The informative tone is also present in this poem as it is in the previous poem. As we look through a proverbial magnifying glass into the life of the man, the poem examines even the smallest of details during those few seconds the man spends in his garden as we observe him. We learn that he is in a vegetable patch and the line all the things he takes down with him there suggests more than garden tools, but also his thoughts, specifically his problems and worries, which may be depicted as a weight one may be carrying. This suggests to us that his vegetable patch is a sanctuary, his own personal private place of relaxation where he can sink into his own mind and think things over. The second stanza uses sensory imagery to let the reader put himself in the place of the man in the garden, no longer simply observing him, which helps the reader develop a more accurate picture of exactly the state of mind the man may be in during his time in his garden. The clatter of a dish in a sink that could be his suggests that he is married, which could imply children, making his garden all the more an escape, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Approximate 5% of the cancers globally are HPV associated anogenital or oral cancers (1). HPV is transmitted frequently between partners; more frequent transmission has been reported from females to males than from males to females (2). The incidence of anal and oral cancers related to HPV is increasing in the general population and is growing even faster among individuals who are immunocompromised because of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection (3, 4). Two prophylactic vaccines (Gardasil and Cervarix) have been approved for a decade. Recently, the nonavalent vaccine including additional high risk HPV types is promised to provide more coverage against cervical cancers (5). The HPV vaccine is recommended routinely for 11 or 12 year olds, as well as for young men through age 21 years and young women through age 26 years who have not previously been vaccinated. HPV vaccine is also recommended for men who have sex with men (MSM), people living with HIV/AIDS, and immunocompromised persons through age 26 years. However, the high risk HPV types included in the nonavalent vaccine contribute little to anal, oropharyngeal, penile, vulvar and vaginal cancer (5, 6). In the novel, there is a strong, obvious friendship between Michael, Mina and Skellig. There is a lot of change that the characters must deal with and their friends and family are there to help support them. The theme death reoccurs throughout the novel which gives the book a deeper meaning. There is a strong and obvious friendship between Michael, Mina and Skellig. On page 38, Mina took Michael to a place no one knows about. This showed that Mina trusted Michael to keep her secret. Michael did the same for her. On page 76, Michael showed Mina the extraordinary being in his garage. The two characters developed a strong friendship early in the book and continued to develop it when they looked after Skellig. In return for Michael looking after Skellig, on page 150, Michaels mum describes the man coming into the hospital ward, before the baby went into surgery, and danced with her to give her some strength. Democracy In The Lesson By Toni Cade Bambara While the United States government is proclaimed to be a democracy, it consists many of the imperfections demonstrated in the story written by Toni Cade Bambara, The Lesson . The protagonist as well as her friends are enlightened as they explore a new environment, a toy store that contrasts greatly with the slums they ventured from. Although the difference between the wealthy children and the youth described in the story is missing, the injustice is displayed by their surroundings in addition to the interactions they have with each toy they find. For instance, when attempting to cheat the cab driver out of money, she decide[s] he do[es]n t need it [as] bad as I do (Bambara 83), reasoning that the money is more useful for her family than the cab drivers. This selfish judgement, like the inequality already imposed on her by society, reveals how distorted her understanding of democracy is. A nation cannot function as a democracy if not all understand the value of it; if given a taste of the true system, the children in this account would not think of ways to corrupt it. The Safety Of Autonomous Vehicles Smart Cars Gartner has estimated that by 2020 there will be 250 million connected cars on the worlds roads, which has left a considerable asking questions about the safety of autonomous vehicles (Scott). An autonomous vehicle is a mode of transportation that does not need a person driving it. Cisco s Smart Connected Vehicles division has a hypothesis which states that autonomous cars could eliminate as 85 percent of head on collisions. One of the greatest problems that smart cars face is getting people to trust them. In a study conducted by Carlnsur, it found that 80 percent of people would not purchase a self driving car if they had the option, citing their main reason of opposition as a lack of trust in the computer to get them to their destination safely (Young). Furthermore, because the cars will be able to communicate with each other Cisco believes that the traffic would be lighter and therefore save drivers time spent in traffic. Henceforth, by cars spending less time in traffic there will be less carbon released into the air and fuel costs will decrease, which will lead to a more sustainable environment. • 19. Abolish The Child Support System Essay Abolish the Child Support System Child support should no longer be feasible in the United States, because it is outdated, tough on low income fathers and most importantly undermines the efforts of the fathers who do get involve in their child s life. Sadly, the government merely focus on the enforcement portion of the law. Child support in this day and age has prolonged its deceptive theory of actually supporting the child with the absence of a parent; typically a father. In the United States, when parents do not live together, children most often live with their mothers (Grall 2009). Granted that more women and government have taken advantage of the absences of fathers; without facing any repercussions for their actions. In the end, such absences carry detrimental effect on most children who are raised by a single parent with the government hypothetical assistance. These pressing issues are becoming prominent as most children in the U.S. spends some portion of their childhood living apart from at least one of their parents (Grall 2009). Part of this occurs mainly because of high divorce rates as well as an unprecedented increase of childbirth to unmarried parents. In fact, one of the greatest indicator for poverty and welfare dependency is a child born to a single mother headed household (McCormick 2004). This concept does not merely dismantle the importance of family values, but it also promotes the continuous cycle of single parenting. For this reason, having a ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 28. A Relationship Between Physical Properties And Mental... The relationship between the physical and the mental is an issue that philosophers have pondered for centuries, and this issue still remains relevant today. In the attempt to determine the relationship between physical properties and mental properties two schools of thoughts emerged: Monism and Dualism. People who subscribe to monism believe physical properties, such as color and location, as well as mental properties, such as emotions and beliefs, are all one entity. Materialisms, the most popular form of monism, claims that everything mental is also physical. On the other end of the spectrum, Dualists believe that physical and mental properties are two separate entities. This paper will address the merits of interactionist substance dualism (interactionism) and epiphenomenalist property dualism (epiphenomenalism) as well as functionalism which is a type of materialism. The debate between dualism and materialism has retained its relevance today even though most contemporary philosophers believe materialism to be true. This is in large part due to the implications that comes with both views. If dualism is true, this means that there are some things that science will never be able to explain because science only has the ability to explain the physical. Therefore, dualism does not correspond with a scientific worldview which indicates why most scientists and philosophers are reluctant to accept this view. Disadvantages Of Geothermal Energy Introduction Over the past several years the realization of a limited amount of renewable resources has pushed for a more environmentally friendly form of utilities. This realization has shifted the mindset of the consumer to prefer a more green and economical utility free home using sustainable energy sources. The scientists at Whole Life Energy are analyzing the use of geothermal energy to meet the requirements of our consumers and environment. This report covers what geothermal energy is, different types of geothermal energy, and geothermal energy advantages. What is Geothermal Energy Geothermal energy is the routing of liquid filled tubing underneath the Earth s surface to absorb heat. A small pump is used to circulate the liquid, so the heat can be extracted in the home or business. The earth absorbs and stores about half the suns energy. Due to this massive absorption, the earth maintains a fairly constant temperature of 45 70 degrees Fahrenheit at a depth of 6 feet (Rinkesh, 2017). This constant temperature will allow our company to tap into a never ending supply of heat production. Depending on the size of facility needing heating will determine the depth of the tubing required to draw the appropriate energy. The EPA states, farther below the surface, the temperature increases at an average rate of approximately 1°F for every 70 feet in depth (Renewable Heating and Cooling, 2016). This period included philosophy, art, music, literature. (https://www.bl.uk/romantics and victorians/articles/the romantics) Romantics believed that men and women should not be guided by rules placed on them by society but led by warm emotions that promoted a sense of freedom. William Blake was one of the poets that began the Romantic Age who promoted self expression but was weighed down by the importance and standards of religion. Literary work during Romanticism had a strong emphasis in implementing nature, emotion over logic, imagination over reason, and no division between art and literature. These works placed focus on human personality affected by political and social causes. These became dominant themes in romantic poetry which made literature much more complex. However, if Khanna s vision of a third pillar is to be realized, the United States will need to alleviate security concerns that plague the region and drain its potential. The region still faces a number of issues that interfere with its democratic consolidation and potential for global leadership roles.
