3. HEMORRHOIDS:
• Hemorrhoids are the results from increased
pressure placed on the veins of the anus. This can
be cause by straining during bowel movements,
childbirth or from sitting to long. The pressure
cause the veins to swell making them painful.

hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids could be caused by
cirrhosis of the liver. Hemorrhoids can occur inside
the anus at the beginning of the rectum. may hang
outside the anus. Most hemorrhoids can be
treated with change in bowel pattern and diet.
4. BARIATRIC SURGERY
Bariatric surgery (weight loss surgery) includes a variety of
procedures on people who are obese and want to loss
weight. The way the weight is reduced is by placing a
gastric band or removing a portion of the stomach or by
re-sectioning a portion of the small intestine. This surgery
is usually chosen by individuals whom have difficulty
losing weight or suffering from medical conditions which
could be fatal or progress if weight is not loss. It helps the
person to get full quicker and eat small portions of food.

A liver transplant is considered when a person begins to
have sever problems with the liver. When the liver fails
to function proper or liver failure. It can be caused by a
infection or medication failure. Chronic hepatitis or
cirrhosis could cause liver failure. This process can take
a long time before the person can get a matching donor.
They have to be placed on a donor list, a match has to be
found. Even after their has been a match. The surgery
process is long and tedious. Both the recipient and
donor will be on medication for the rest of their life to
prevent rejection of the organ.
