5. SAT Subject Test
• SAT Subject Tests measure students' knowledge and skills
in particular subject areas, and their ability to apply that
knowledge.
• The SAT Subject Tests give students an additional
opportunity to distinguish themselves and showcase their
skills in a particular subject area.
• It is a required test for admission to highly selective
universities in USA.
• Each year, nearly 500,000 students take SAT Subject Tests
to demonstrate their mastery of particular subjects.
• There are 20 SAT subject tests in five general subject areas
– mathematics, science, english, history and foreign
languages.
• Each test is of one hour duration and the scaled score
ranges between 200 to 800.
