was a very talented French Artist. He
served a brief prison term in 1894. He
painted war scenes, with soldiers
struggling with horrors of the war. He
gained fame from using methods by
Georges-Pierre Seurat. His works focus
on blue-collar scenes and everyday
troubles of a common man.
