Your charter should be clear, concise, and written in language that can be understood by people who are not involved in the project. Everyone on the team should be able to articulate the charter, particularly the business impact, or financial benefit, of the work that you are doing. Review the charter at the beginning of team meetings to make sure it is still relevant and correct. The Improvement Team and Champion should continue to further clarify the charter as work progresses. It is important that the charter, at all times, reflects the best understanding of the project.
