3. 1. Integrasi MS Office dengan Alfresco menu to browse file
Click on this
MS Office dapat terintegrasi dengan Alfresco dengan melakukan instalasi Add-ins Alfresco pada
MS Office. Berikut ini adalah gambar yang menampilkan interface add-ins Alfresco pada salah
satu MS Office yaitu MS Word setelah melakukanupload
File which is ready to
instalasi. Setelah memilih menu Add-ins
Alfresco, dilakukan konfigurasi terhadap lokasi alfresco dan autentikasi.

Setelah log-in, maka word document pada alfresco dapat di-edit pada MS Word secara langsung.
Untuk masuk kepada space dari user, maka dapat dipilih tab kedua yaitu untuk ‘Browse Space’.
Melalui tab ini akan ditampilkan space dan dokumen yang dimiliki oleh user, yang ditunjukkan
seperti pada gambar berikut.

Terdapat beberapa fiture yang disediakan pada Alfresco Add-ins, diantaranya sebagai berikut :
1.1 Edit Document.
Untuk melakukan pengeditan pada word document, maka pilih sub menu Insert File into Curent
Document, maka isi dari dokumen tersebut akan muncul di MS Word dan dapat diedit. Pada saat
sub menu itu dipilih, hal ini sama dengan melakukan check out pada dokumen, dan pada saat
check out, dokumen tersebut tidak dapa diedit oleh user lain.

Setelah melakukan pengeditan pada dokumen, maka dilakukan penyimpanan dengan memilih link
Save To Alfresco yang terdapat pada Alfresco Add-ins seperti pada gambar berikut.

1.2 Convert Document To PDF File
Untuk meng-convert word dokumen ke dalam bentuk file pdf, maka dipilih link “Transfom To pdf”,
kemudian pada software alfresco akan tercipta file pdf yang memiliki nama yang sama dengan
word document dan terdapat pada space yang sama, seperti pada gambar berikut.

1.3 Search
Fungsi search yang dapat dilakukan pada Alfresco Add-ins hanyalah berupa simple search. Contoh
Search dapat dilihat pada gambar berikut.

1.4 Workflow
Sebuah dokumen dapat di-assign melalui sebuah workflow melalui Alfresco Add-ins. Untuk
memulai workflow pada sebuah dokumen, maka dipilih link seperti pada gambar berikut.

Setelah setiap data telah diisi, maka pada saat user penerima tugas tersebut log-in melalui
Alfresco Add-ins, akan ditampilkan sebagai berikut:

11. Setelah di-approve oleh user yang bersangkutan, kemudian pada dashlets user yang
mengasign document tersebut akan terdapat notofication bahwa document tersebut telah
di-approve, seperti pada gambar berikut.
