2. Rapid mixer Granulator is an essential requirement for pharmaceutical manufacturing and it is
used wisely to mix different ingredients before finalizing some granular structure. The granulator
has chopper and impellers inside that are responsible for wet granulation process. Impellers are
fixed at the bottom of machine with variable length blades that are used to lift and cut materials
properly. They are crushed into very small pieces that can be further processed to small granules.
Choppers are designed with very small blades fixed at the bottom of dome that rotates at high
speed to give easy and fine granular structure. Chopper first cuts down the material in small
lumps that is mixed by impellers and carried out for further process. Chopper doesn’t effects the
granule size so much when impellers are working at higher speeds.
Next important attachment of rapid granulator is discharge port that is fixed horizontally at the
bottom of the dome. The port gets opened by compressed air and operated with the help of
pneumatic cylinder always. The amount of compressed air is decided by expert team of
manufacturers always.

3. Working Process of Rapid Mixer Granulator
The granulator is used with the purpose of designing granules through different tumbling or
whirling process. It is easy to ix all ingredient together and crushed into lumps with the help of
chopper and impellers at high speed. Based on mixing requirement of the product, chopper or
impeller can be operated at lower speed as well. With proper operation, it is possible to design
granular particles of required size as needed by the client.
For dry mixing, it takes maximum five minutes for preparing proper mixture and it takes
maximum 10 minutes for proper wet granulation process. Size of granules will vary based on
