3. • Break the ice
Be online earlier than the expected time to chat with EP
Have warm-up conversation before starting interview
• Repeat question about the same topic to get deeper understanding
4. •Follow the flow but be flexible and logical
Question based on EP answer
Example:
-If in the first question, EP introduce that they have been to England then you
the question “Have you ever been abroad?” should be changed to “Beside
England, which else countries have you been to?”
-EP introduce that they have working experience as an English tutor so in
“Working experience” part, you should ask “As you mentioned, you had taken
an job as a tutor, can you tell more about this experience?”
5. • Remember to set clear expectation about:
oIntern service
o Probation time
o Recruiting process: next step, when to get back, etc.
=> To avoid misunderstanding and increase matching NPS :D
7. •Critical thinking
EP with good thinking will answer following STAR model: SITUATION
– TIME – ACTION – RESULT
• Motivation
=> Be careful with EP that have motivation different from core value of
AIESEC exchange. Ex: want to take internship since boyfriend/
girlfriend is in VN or want to start up or just travelling
8. • Independence
EP that have been abroad by themselves
Through “Commitment” and “Expectation” part in the question
list, check EP’s awareness about AIESEC support and whether EP
know how to solve personal stuff first on their own
