used creatures to scare their people.

snakes.
• Althoght Medusas had snakes
as hair if see looked at anyone
in the eye they would turn to
stone.

creature that had a

cheast of a woman.

body and claws of a
lion.

• The hydra is a
drangon that can live
under water.
• The hydra has nine
head and if you cut
one off its head it
grows 2 more heads.
• The hydra had
poisonous claws.
7. Chimaera
• Chimaera is a
terrifying half lion
• Half mountian goat
with snakes on his tail
• He can breathing fire.
• Hercules was the
person who killer
Chimaera.
8. Scylla
• Scylla lurked in the strait of
Messina.
• Scylla had a human head and
torso.
• Scylla had a tail and fins like a
fish.
• And a six pack of wolfs around
her waist.
• Every sailor new of Scylla.

• The Phoenix is a bird

fire spirit.

10. Triton
• Triton is a god of

king of all
mermiads.
