2. IMPORTANCE OF WRITING FOR AWRITER
Writing is a habit which continues with a writer throughout his life.
Writers can share their feelings, emotions, ideas and thoughts through
writing.
For a writer, it is more easy to explain through words rather than any other
method.
Writing fosters a writer’s ability to explain a complex position to readers.
Writing gives psychological satisfaction to writers.
3. WHY DO WRITERS GET CANCER?
If a writer fails to express his feelings, emotions and ideas through writing then
he suffers, in other words ‘writer gets cancer’. Causes for this are:
The writer hasn’t written enough.
Writer is forcing himself/herself to write something specific.
He/She has let criticism cut to the heart.
Writer has allowed other things to get in the way of his/her writing style.
Writer hasn’t finished what he/she has started.
He/She hasn’t found the balance between art and craft.
The writer starts using difficult language to explain.
Writer gives irrelevant details.
4. CURE FOR THIS CANCER
Use of simple language: All writers should try to increase their vocabulary,
not by using fancy words just for the sake of it. Writing should always be
clear. But by using intriguing language in new ways.
Use of necessary details: Going into detail if they have no significant part to
play is waste of words. Writer should be brief in words and descriptive in
thought.
Fearlessness and no pressure: Fearlessness makes anyone to express
more. If a writer is fearless and free to write, he will surely express what he
needs to express.
Keeping the feelings that writer feels while writing: A writer needs to write
in such a way that reader should feel themselves there and then the reader
can understand the writer's mind in true sense.
