2. To know today means to be connected. Knowledge moves too
fast for learning to be only a product. We used to acquire
knowledge by bringing it close to ourselves. We were said to
possess it – to have it exist in our heads. We can no longer
seek to possess all needed knowledge personally. We must
store it in our friends or within technology.

Education is a self organizing system, where learning is an emergent
phenomenon.

5. The solution is to gradually become free of societal rewards
and learn how to substitute for them rewards that are under
one's own powers. This is not to say that we should abandon
every goal endorsed by society; rather, it means that, in
addition to or instead of the goals others use to bribe us with,
