 It is a site which contains
resources for English as a
second language.
 In the main homepage,
there are several sections
with tests and quizzes,
English references, articles
to read, tools and
resources, a forum and a
section dedicated to the
teachers.
 In the lower part of the
page, the reader can find
what’s new in the site.

ducators/
 Colorin Colorado is full of
information, activities, and
resources for ELL teachers,
especially up to third grade
level.
 There are also sections for
administrators, librarians,
families, books and authors
and a final glossary.
 One section is dedicated to
the topics which are dealing
also with issues such as
disabilities or multicultural
education.

 It is a site that offers images
demonstrating the true
meaning of the word.
 It’s divided in 4 main sections
which are home, browse,
about and pictolang.
 In the second sections there
is all the material related to
several languages. Each
section is then diveded in
more aspects of a nation life
and clicking on it shows
images about a specific topic.

 It’s a site whose aim is to teach
through videos from real English
speakers, quizzes and
community support.
 It proposes to download the app.
on a tablet or a smartphone.
 The real lessons start from very
basic subjects such as
introducing oneself, the
alphabet going to a B1 level of
english.
 There is also a section dedicated
to all the videos related to the
lessons and including exercises.

pronunciation with instant
sound and samples by native
speakers.
 The pronunciation samples are
divided following all the
varieties of English such as
British, American, South African
etc.
 There are also resources like
dictionary with Instant Sound,
English dialogues,an interactive
reading course,English
dictations, pronunciation of
names of people, cities and
countries, words with
controversial or difficult
pronunciation.

students.
 On the left there are all the

the main page the is a
reading test which offers
synonimes to some specific
words.
 The podcasts related to
some daily topics and

 The site is a great resource for
explaining gray areas of the
English language to the
students. So it is designed for
advanced learners.
 It is divided in 4 sections:
Home, Ask, About and Login.
 Home shows issues related to
the language and explains
them. Are issues which are
not usually dealt with in class.
 The ask section is interesting
because it can help the
learner to solve some issues
by asking them on the page.

ELL classroom with new
learning content every day.
 It includes a quote of the

for English. Students can

Plus, teachers can find a job,

 It is divided in student and

Grammar, Vocabulary, Business
English, Pronunciation, Idioms.
 Teachers can find materials, text
books and other resources.

There are interships,
professional translations
lexiophiles ect.

 The contents are divided by

 Ther e is a section in which
the material can be found

recorded texts.

 It has a look on ESP,ESOL,

 It is interesting because it has
a sction for children and
another one for teenagers and
related topics to each age
area.

 It offers all type of tools and
instruments to develop and
improve the language.
