• Free liftshare scheme, restricted to Herts residents or people making
journeys to Herts
• Private liftshare schemes also available for very large employers (setup
and annual charges apply)
• Platform allows users to locate others needing/offering similar journeys
without revealing full identity until ready
• Users can specify days worked, typical journey times, other requirements
(eg same gender, non-smoker etc)
• Advice on good practice (incl car insurance, rules on charging for petrol
contributions etc) at www.liftshare.com under FAQ section
• Next slide shows cluster of hertsliftshare destinations in SW Herts – biggest
companies in each cluster are named
• Private company scheme members and those in the Maylands on the Move
scheme can opt to participate in hertsliftshare public group
• The more members who sign up, the more journey matches can be made!
