1. Your Questions About Commodities Charts
David asks…
did i get reltime quotes and charts for commodities for free ?give
me site name?
Steve Winston answers:
If you find a site that offers that but requires that you pay to enter the web site, you can go to
www.bugmenot.com and get a free password and user id. I've used it to enter sites such as
Businessweek, without actually having a subscription to the service.

3. where can I see continuously updated charts showing commodity
prices online?
I use google finance to follow stocks and mutual funds. Is there anything similar that I can use to
follow the price movement of commodities?
Steve Winston answers:
If you want real time updated charts you'll need to subscribe.
Here is a good service from Reuters.
There are others, but I trust this source. Reuters is a 150 year old company and world
respected.

4. Sorry for my poor English! Where can I find commodity price
charts with all active contracts in one window...?
I beg your pardon for my poor English! Where can I find commodity price charts with all active
contracts in one window at the same time (and even including may be cash prices)? I tried to
find them on the internet for 2(!) days, but didn't find any!
Steve Winston answers:
You can try http://www.futuresource.com, but if I understand you correctly you want all active
contracts in one chart, and I doubt any free-of-charge package would be able to provide that.

5. Hi all
Is charting for commodities different from charting for stocks ?
Can one adopt the charting trading for stocks techniques for commodities trading techniques?
Thanks in advance
EC
Steve Winston answers:
Technical analysis is technical analysis. Regardless of what trading symbol you plug in, the
answer will be the same. However, there could be differences in time frames on your charts
depending upon your trading style and what type of security you're trading. As an example,
most people will own a stock for a lot longer period of time than a commodity. If that's the case
with your trading style, you might want to use an hourly chart when analyzing a potential
commodities trade, but use a daily chart when analyzing a stock trade.
