vendors/HSPs, participants will have an increased

4. Integrated Assessment Record
Introduction
• The Integrated Assessment Record (IAR) is a framework that
provides secure user account management, assessment information
and monitoring capabilities, and a seamless view of a person’s
assessment details
• The IAR environment allows vendors to test their applications in an
IAR setting that matches the one used by their HSP clients
• The purpose of this overview:
– Provide instruction on effectively using Uploader and Viewer role by:
• manually uploading assessment files for a test organization
• viewing upload audit reports
• searching and viewing uploaded assessments

5. Getting Started
Advantages for using the IAR for testing are the ability to:
• Test vendor source system capacity to successfully upload manually and
through Web Service
• View response messages throughout submission process
• Validate search ability for client and assessment
• Identify discrepancies between source system and data feed
To gain access:
• Request user ID and Password via Support Centre e-mail iar@ccim.on.ca
• VendorsHSPs will receive URL to the validation environment:
https://iarvt.ccim.on.ca/concerto/Concerto.htm
• You will receive a unique user name and password that will not expire, and
does not require resetting
– Username is case-sensitive. Password is case-sensitive and at least 8 characters long

8. Uploading Test Submissions
Homepage for Vendors/HSPs
• VendorsHSPs will be set up with 2 roles: Uploader and Viewer
• Refer to Menu bar on the left side; start with Submissions
• “Uploader role” is responsible for submissions

9. How to Manually Upload Files
• Menu Bar is on the left hand side of the IAR window and
is the primary navigation method
• Click on “Submissions” to expand menu
• Click on “Upload”
• The above screen will appear

11. How to Search for the Upload
Once you have uploaded the file, IAR provides the following information:
• Record the Transaction ID (also referred to as the TX number)
• Return to Menu Bar, select “Review History”
• “Search Criteria” allows you to search for details of your upload

Three Easy Steps:
1. Click on “Review History”
2. If you noted the Transaction ID, enter it in the Transaction ID field
3. Can’t remember the Transaction ID? Click on Search adding no Search
Criteria (the search results will return all transactions)

13. IAR Uploader Search Criteria
Enter the filter criteria and select the Search button or hit enter
• Audit Event ID: Unique ID for audit event • Assessment Version: i.e. for RAI-MH the
• Transaction ID: Internally generated values will be 2008, 2009 or 2010; for
identifier for submission tracking OCAN: 2.06, 1.0.2 and 2.1 - only available
• User ID: User ID of individual submitting file at assessment processing level
• Submission Method: Manual, SFTP or WS • Assessment Record Type: Record type of
the assessment - only available at
• Submission ID: Only available if wrapped by assessment processing level

14. Understand Results; Interpret Event Status Message
Upload Audit Report Screen – Search Results
Displays three audit records (event types) for each submission: Received Submission,
Upload Assessment and Store Assessment. For more information, click on Event
Status (either “success” or “fail”).
• Search criteria fields include:
– Time Zone
– Source Application: Application that was used or submitted to generate records
– Event Type: Values – Received Submission, Upload Assessment or Store Assessment
– Event Date: Date / time event occurred
– Event Status: Values – SUCCESS or FAIL
– Log Level: Values – INFO (Information), WARN (Warning), or ERROR
– Message: A message describing the audit record (event) where applicable

• Assessment unable to load because file was a duplicate of
an existing assessment
If all three events are successful, assessment document loads
into the Document Tree under the correct category and sub-
category folder for display to the ‘Viewer’ role

• Report results may be printed or saved in PDF format at any point
• Select Printer friendly Upload Audit Report in the bottom left
corner of the results section

22. How to Search for a Client

list with minimal search criteria

• When training HSPs, stress the importance of only entering
demographic information in the source system – Do not allow for special
characters, alias, notes in the above criteria
24. Viewing Assessments
• Having completed Steps 1 through 3, click on “search” to see if the
search results turn up the client your submission contained
• If the assessment shows “successfully stored” with no matching client,
add more criteria – i.e., date of birth, health card number, etc.
• Once the client appears, select by clicking on the client
• Note: Vendors/HSPs will need to provide the first and last name
contained in the assessment as well as the Transaction ID when
requesting CCIM to do validation.

• To print a PDF of the assessment you uploaded, click on the “Print” icon
• You can view a summary of the assessment and print the same way
