3. Summer Undergraduate Internship
• 10 weeks from mid-June through
mid-August at ICPSR (Ann Arbor, MI)
• Application materials: cover letter of
interest, resume or CV, two letters of
recommendation, list of relevant
courses, and contact information for
references
4. Research Paper Competitions
• $1000 for first place and $750 for
second place
• Undergraduate and master’s student
papers that used data from the
ICPSR General Archive or Thematic
Collections.
5. ICPSR Summer Program in
Quantitative Methods
• Instruction on the tools and practices needed to
analyze data
• For those with math phobia and those with
advanced analysis skills
• 3-5 day workshops and 4-8 week courses
• Primarily held in Ann Arbor, MI,
on the campus of The University
of Michigan, but some courses
on other campuses also
