This document contains lyrics from several songs that were sung at Summit Woods Baptist Church. The songs praise and exalt Jesus Christ. They discuss wanting to see Jesus lifted high so all people know he is the way to heaven, wanting Jesus' kingdom to come on earth, singing to Jesus as king, being prepared a place in God's family through Jesus, and crying out that Jesus is holy. The songs were performed to encourage Christians in their faith and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.
8. Christian hearts, in love united,
Seek alone in Jesus rest;
Has He not your love excited?
Then let love inspire each breast;
Members on our Head depending
Lights reflecting Him, our Sun,
Brethren His commands attending,
We in Him, our Lord, are one.
9. Come, then, come, O flock of Jesus,
Covenant with Him anew;
Unto Him Who conquered for us,
Pledge we love and service true;
And should our love’s union holy
Firmly linked no more remain,
Wait ye at His footstool lowly,
Till He draw it close again.
10. Grant, Lord, that with Thy direction,
“Love each other,” we comply,
Aiming with unfeigned affection
Thy love to exemplify;
Let our mutual love be glowing,
Thus will all men plainly see,
That we, as on one stem growing,
Living branches are in Thee.
11. O that such may be our union,
As Thine with the Father is,
And not one of our communion
E’er forsake the path of bliss;
May our light ’fore men with brightness,
From Thy light reflected, shine;
Thus the world will bear us witness,
That we, Lord, are truly Thine.

23. Your glorious cause, O God, engages our hearts
May Jesus Christ be known wherever we are
We ask not for ourselves, but for Your renown
The cross has saved us so we pray
Your kingdom come
24. Let Your kingdom come
Let Your will be done
So that everyone might know Your Name
Let Your song be heard everywhere on earth
Till Your sovereign work on earth is done
Let Your kingdom come
25. Give us Your strength, O God,
and courage to speak
Perform Your wondrous deeds
through those who are weak
Lord use us as You want,
whatever the test
By grace we’ll preach Your gospel
Till our dying breath
26. Let Your kingdom come
Let Your will be done
So that everyone might know Your Name
Let Your song be heard everywhere on earth
Till Your sovereign work on earth is done
Let Your kingdom come
29. Sing to the King
Who is coming to reign,
Glory to Jesus,
The Lamb that was slain.
Life and salvation,
His empire shall bring,
And joy to the nations
When Jesus is King.
30. Come, let us sing a song,
A song declaring
That we belong to Jesus,
He is all we need.
Lift up a heart of praise,
Sing now
With voices raised to Jesus,
Sing to the King.
31. For His returning we watch
And we pray,
We will be ready
The dawn of that day.
We’ll join in singing
With all the redeemed,
’Cause Satan is vanquished,
And Jesus is King.
32. Come, let us sing a song,
A song declaring
That we belong to Jesus,
He is all we need.
Lift up a heart of praise,
Sing now
With voices raised to Jesus,
Sing to the King.
35. Mystery of mysteries
That God would make for me
A place within His family,
though once His enemy
The Judge of every sinner
sent Christ to Calvary
To prepare a place for me
36. Judgment should be given
For this guilt upon my head
But the Father of all glory
crushed His Son instead
Now I’ve been adopted,
for God made this to be
You prepared a place for me
37. Blessed be, blessed be
My God and Savior, You’ve shown me favor
And prepared a place for me
38. Mystery of mysteries
That God would make for me
A place within His family,
though once His enemy
The Judge of every sinner
sent Christ to Calvary
To prepare a place for me
39. Judgment should be given
For this guilt upon my head
But the Father of all glory
crushed His Son instead
Now I’ve been adopted,
for God made this to be
You prepared a place for me
40. Blessed be, blessed be
My God and Savior, You’ve shown me favor
And prepared a place for me
41. Father, in the moment
When Your Son shall split the skies
And myriads of angels
acclaim Him with their cries
By grace I will be able to join the jubilee
You prepared a place for me
42. Blessed be, blessed be
My God and Savior, You’ve shown me favor
And prepared a place for me
43. Blessed be, blessed be
My God and Savior, You’ve shown me favor
And prepared a place for me
44. My God and Savior, You’ve shown me favor
And prepared a place for me
