Lake Gunung Tujuh, Jambi. Climbing Mount Kerinci (3805 m - the highest volcano of Indonesia and highest peak in Sumatra) in Kerinci
Seblat National Park is a great experience for professional climbers but it's hard to climb for amateurs. Near to Mount Kerinci, there is
mountains called Mount Tujuh (Seven Mountains). It has seven (tujuh) peaks, of which only three have been climbed. Mount Tujuh
has a large caldera lake at its centre, Lake Gunung Tujuh. Lake Gunung Tujuh is Southeast Asia's highest Lake. This beautiful
lake, makes your hard effort to climb worth it.
White peacock in Bali Bird Park




White peacock in Bali Bird Park, Bali. White Peafowl actually comes from India, and a variation of Indian Peafowls. Bali Bird Park
itself, has the largest and finest collection of Indonesian birds in the world plus fantastic birds from Africa & South America.
Encompassing two hectares of botanical landscape, the park provides sanctuary to almost 1000 birds of 250 different species. The
park accommodates an amazing display of flora with more then 2000 tropical plants including 50 varieties of palms alone and
attracting numerous butterflies. Incorporating a breeding, research and veterinary facility within the complex, the park has a high
success rate in the captive reproduction of exotic birds such as the Bird. of Paradise and Hornbill.
Bromo Mountain: Sea of Sand




Bromo Mountain: Sea of Sand, East Java. The Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park covers some 800 square kilometers in the
centre of East Java. At its northern end is the spectacular Tengger Caldera, Java's largest, with its 10 km barren desert-like sea of
sand of Bromo. Within the caldera rise the deeply fissured volcanic cones of Batok and Bromo, the latter is still active with a
cavernous crater from which smoke blows skyward. Temperatures at the top of mount Bromo range about 5 to 18 degrees Celsius .
To the south is a rolling upland plateau dissected by valleys and dotted with several small scenic lakes, extending to the foot of
Mount Semeru, a towering grey forest-skirted cone dominating the southern landscape. Tengger sandy area has been protected
since 1919, and its believed to be the only conservation area in Indonesia, even probably in the world possessing a unique ocean
and sand at the attitude about 2000 m above sea level.
Uninhabited island




Uninhabited island between Sumbawa and Flores, Nusa Tenggara Timur. The area of East Nusa Tenggara Province (NTT) spreads out
between 8 -12 South Latitude and 118 -125 East Longitude. It comprises approximately 566 islands, consists of large and small
islands. As much as 42 islands are inhabited. There are so many islands that still uninhabited like this island, even some are unnamed.
This province has total are of 47,349.9 km2, including + 200,000 km2 waters area. The largest region is Kupang regency with 7,178.26
km2areas, while the smallest region is Kupang city with the area of 160.34 km2. This region has semi-arid climate, with the relatively
low rainfall and the low vegetation of which is dominated by savannah and steppe.
Floating Market




Pasar Terapung, Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan. In Barito River of
Banjarmasin, when it still in the morning, lots of boats form a market and the
buyers must go to the seller's boat using a boat too. There are some floating
markets in Banjarmasin, like Pasar Kuin. It is one of the two such marketplace in
Southeast Asia.
Mount Rinjani




Mount Rinjani and Segara Anakan lake, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. At 3726m, it is the second highest volcano in Indonesia.
The perfect cone of Gunung Baru (New Mountain), which erupted in August 1994, sits in the turquoise crater lake of Danau Segara
Anak (Child of the Sea). While the volcano casts a strong shadow in the morning sun in the background.
Oehala Waterfall,

        Oehala Waterfall, West Timor, East Nusa
        Tenggara. Oehala Waterfall is around 10 km
        from Soe city, on route to Kapan. From the
        main Soe-Kapan road it is a pleasant 2 km
        stroll down a shady path to the cascade at
        the base of which is a pool where it is
        possible to swim. The best viewing spot
        from where you can see the largest number
        of 'steps' of the waterfall is around halfway
        down.
Pulau Run (Run Island),




Pulau Run (Run Island), Banda Islands, Maluku. The beautiful island was very famous for spice fleets from the 10th century
onwards, starting with early Arab traders, followed by the Chinese, supplying the Venetian traders with Nutmeg via the Silk
Route, the inspiration of Marco Polo’s travels and the incentive for the European voyages of exploration as well as for several
colonial wars by Portuguese, Spanish, English, and Dutch.

     Padi beach located near the capital of Bangka
     Belitung province, Pangkal Pinang. The sand
     relatively white and the sea waves is calm. Near
     the beach, there are some uniquely formed red
     and yellow rocks.
Kuta Sunset, Kuta Beach, Bali.
Monumen Nasional,




Monumen Nasional, Jakarta. The Monumen Nasional (or Tugu Monas, the National Monument tower or also Sukarno's last
erection ) is a 450 ft (137 m) tall tower in Central Jakarta, symbolizing the fight for Indonesia's Independence. Its construction
began in 1961 under Sukarno and was not finished until 1975 under Suharto. It is topped by a 14.5 tonnes flame-shaped bronze
plated in 35 kg (1,125 troy ounces) of gold. The design based on Lingga-Yoni, the symbol of fertility in ancient Hindu-Javanese
belief. The golden flame symbolize the spirit of freedom and the struggle for independence of Indonesian people. At night, lights
are turned on, make Monas more beautiful.
Saman Dance,
         Saman Dance, from Nanggroe Aceh
         Darussalam. Saman Dance the most
         popular dance in Aceh and the dance
         that has become well-known abroad
         with the name quot;Thousand handsquot;. It has
         its origin from the Alas ethnic group and
         is normally performed to celebrate the
         birthday of the Prophet Muhammad
         S.A.W. and other important occasions.
         Eight to twenty male performers kneel
         in a row on the floor and make different
         kinds of torso movements accompanied
         by songs, clapping hands, slapping
         chests, slapping hands on the floor, etc.
         The songs are praises to Allah or
         prayers. The dance starts with slow
         movements and increases its tempo
         gradually to great speed and finally
         come to a sudden stop. There are many
         different regional versions of quot;Samanquot;
Jembatan Palu IV




Jembatan Palu IV (Palu IV Bridge), Palu, Central Sulawesi. Palu s a city on the Indonesian island of Sulawesi, located 1,650 km
northeast of Jakarta. The city sits on the mouth of Palu River, at the head of a long, narrow bay. The river is crossed by some
bridges. The Palu IV Bridge is the newest. This yellow bridge obviously is a new icon for Palu city. Because of its sheltered position
between mountain ridges, the city climate is unusually dry.
Masjid An-Nur




 Masjid An-Nur (An Nur Mosque), Pekanbaru, Riau. With its unique and interesting constraction equipped with large and high tower
symbolizing God's greatness, situated in downtown of Pekanbaru city, having complete facilities as Islamic Centre as well as equipped
with a pond and beautiful and large park. The mosque lot was actually a sport center, but then it's bulldozed for the mosque and road

Rancabali Tea Plantation




Rancabali Tea Plantation, Ciwidey, West Java. Located among Ciwidey’s tea plantations. A Plantations area that meets the need for
recreation. There are swimming lake, bungalows and other facilites. There are lots of strawberry plantations and tea plantations in
the area of Ciwidey which is only takes 1 hour drive from Bandung the capital of West Java province.
Gurame bakar (Roasted Gourami)




   Gurame bakar (Roasted Gourami) originated from West Java. The gouramis or gouramies are a family, Osphronemidae, of
 freshwater perciform fishes. The fish are native to Asia, from Pakistan and India to the Malay Archipelago and north-easterly
towards Korea. In West Java, gouramis are served as food. One of them is Gurame bakar, or Roasted Gourami. The mixture of
    soy sauce, onions, pepper and another spices, absorbed by the firm and soft Gourami's meat and being roasted giving a
                                                         seducing aroma.
Goa Gajah (Elephant Cave),




Goa Gajah (Elephant Cave), Bali. Goa Gajah (the Elephant Cave), is located in a steep valley just outside of Ubud near the town of
Bedulu. Built at least 700 years ago, the cave was rediscovered in the 1920s and fully excavated 30 years later. Goa Gajah is believed
to have been carved from a hillside as a monastery in the 11th century, though it wasn't rediscovered until 1923. The name of this
cave is probably taken from the nearby Petanu River, which at one time was known as Elephant River, or possibly because the
entrance to the cave resembles an elephant. It is used by the Balinese as a holy place for worshipping the God Shiva and his elephant-
headed son Ganesha. Buddha statues and fertility symbols can be found inside the cave, suggesting that it had a long history of
religious use. Today, it is a cool, dark place to contemplate Bali's distant past.
Danau Sentani (Lake Sentani),




Danau Sentani (Lake Sentani), Papua. Lake Sentani, near Jayapura at the northeastern extremity of Papua, lies at an elevation of 73
m in a fault-controlled depression mainly in Mesozoic mafic and ultramafic rocks of the Cyclops Ophiolite Belt. It is bounded by the
Cyclops Mountains block to the north and the lower-standing terrain of the New Guinea fold thrust belt to the south. An irregularly
shaped body with approximate maximum dimensions of 28 km (E-W) by 19 km (N-S) and a surface area of 10,400 ha, Lake Sentani is
by far the largest of the Papua lakes. It is fed by a catchment area of about 600 km2 and has one outlet only, via the Jafuri and Tami
rivers to the Pacific Ocean near the Papua New Guinea border.
Pulau Misool (Misool Island),




Pulau Misool (Misool Island), Raja Ampat Islands, West Papua. Misool is a region with thousands of isle (the island itself is one of
the four biggest islands of Raja Ampat) , which have been pushed up throughout the thousands of years and build a wonderful
scene. You come across caves, or caverns everywhere. You´ll find rocks as big as cathedrals, over hangs that improve the
dramatic sight of this breathtaking region. Of course these sights will continue in no less impressing views under water. Misool is
one of the places on earth where you´ll find the most various species of fish, hard and soft
corals, sponges, worms, nudebranches, shrimps, crabs and all kind of non-vertebrates, like cuttle fish and octopus.

  • 2. Lake Gunung Tujuh Lake Gunung Tujuh, Jambi. Climbing Mount Kerinci (3805 m - the highest volcano of Indonesia and highest peak in Sumatra) in Kerinci Seblat National Park is a great experience for professional climbers but it's hard to climb for amateurs. Near to Mount Kerinci, there is mountains called Mount Tujuh (Seven Mountains). It has seven (tujuh) peaks, of which only three have been climbed. Mount Tujuh has a large caldera lake at its centre, Lake Gunung Tujuh. Lake Gunung Tujuh is Southeast Asia's highest Lake. This beautiful lake, makes your hard effort to climb worth it.
  • 3. White peacock in Bali Bird Park White peacock in Bali Bird Park, Bali. White Peafowl actually comes from India, and a variation of Indian Peafowls. Bali Bird Park itself, has the largest and finest collection of Indonesian birds in the world plus fantastic birds from Africa & South America. Encompassing two hectares of botanical landscape, the park provides sanctuary to almost 1000 birds of 250 different species.   • 4. Bromo Mountain: Sea of Sand Bromo Mountain: Sea of Sand, East Java. The Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park covers some 800 square kilometers in the centre of East Java. At its northern end is the spectacular Tengger Caldera, Java's largest, with its 10 km barren desert-like sea of sand of Bromo. Within the caldera rise the deeply fissured volcanic cones of Batok and Bromo, the latter is still active with a cavernous crater from which smoke blows skyward. Temperatures at the top of mount Bromo range about 5 to 18 degrees Celsius . To the south is a rolling upland plateau dissected by valleys and dotted with several small scenic lakes, extending to the foot of Mount Semeru, a towering grey forest-skirted cone dominating the southern landscape. Tengger sandy area has been protected since 1919, and its believed to be the only conservation area in Indonesia, even probably in the world possessing a unique ocean and sand at the attitude about 2000 m above sea level.

The area of East Nusa Tenggara Province (NTT) spreads out between 8 -12 South Latitude and 118 -125 East Longitude. It comprises approximately 566 islands, consists of large and small islands. As much as 42 islands are inhabited. There are so many islands that still uninhabited like this island, even some are unnamed. This province has total are of 47,349.9 km2, including + 200,000 km2 waters area. The largest region is Kupang regency with 7,178.26 km2areas, while the smallest region is Kupang city with the area of 160.34 km2. This region has semi-arid climate, with the relatively low rainfall and the low vegetation of which is dominated by savannah and steppe.

The Monumen Nasional (or Tugu Monas, the National Monument tower or also Sukarno's last erection ) is a 450 ft (137 m) tall tower in Central Jakarta, symbolizing the fight for Indonesia's Independence. Its construction began in 1961 under Sukarno and was not finished until 1975 under Suharto. It is topped by a 14.5 tonnes flame-shaped bronze plated in 35 kg (1,125 troy ounces) of gold. The design based on Lingga-Yoni, the symbol of fertility in ancient Hindu-Javanese belief. The golden flame symbolize the spirit of freedom and the struggle for independence of Indonesian people. At night, lights are turned on, make Monas more beautiful.

Eight to twenty male performers kneel in a row on the floor and make different kinds of torso movements accompanied by songs, clapping hands, slapping chests, slapping hands on the floor, etc. The songs are praises to Allah or prayers. The dance starts with slow movements and increases its tempo gradually to great speed and finally come to a sudden stop. There are many different regional versions of quot;Samanquot;

This yellow bridge obviously is a new icon for Palu city. Because of its sheltered position between mountain ridges, the city climate is unusually dry.

  • 18. Gurame bakar (Roasted Gourami) Gurame bakar (Roasted Gourami) originated from West Java. The gouramis or gouramies are a family, Osphronemidae, of freshwater perciform fishes. The fish are native to Asia, from Pakistan and India to the Malay Archipelago and north-easterly towards Korea. In West Java, gouramis are served as food. One of them is Gurame bakar, or Roasted Gourami. The mixture of soy sauce, onions, pepper and another spices, absorbed by the firm and soft Gourami's meat and being roasted giving a seducing aroma.
  • 19. Goa Gajah (Elephant Cave), Goa Gajah (Elephant Cave), Bali. Goa Gajah (the Elephant Cave), is located in a steep valley just outside of Ubud near the town of Bedulu. Built at least 700 years ago, the cave was rediscovered in the 1920s and fully excavated 30 years later. Goa Gajah is believed to have been carved from a hillside as a monastery in the 11th century, though it wasn't rediscovered until 1923. The name of this cave is probably taken from the nearby Petanu River, which at one time was known as Elephant River, or possibly because the entrance to the cave resembles an elephant. It is used by the Balinese as a holy place for worshipping the God Shiva and his elephant- headed son Ganesha. Buddha statues and fertility symbols can be found inside the cave, suggesting that it had a long history of religious use. Today, it is a cool, dark place to contemplate Bali's distant past.

Lake Sentani, near Jayapura at the northeastern extremity of Papua, lies at an elevation of 73 m in a fault-controlled depression mainly in Mesozoic mafic and ultramafic rocks of the Cyclops Ophiolite Belt. It is bounded by the Cyclops Mountains block to the north and the lower-standing terrain of the New Guinea fold thrust belt to the south. An irregularly shaped body with approximate maximum dimensions of 28 km (E-W) by 19 km (N-S) and a surface area of 10,400 ha, Lake Sentani is by far the largest of the Papua lakes. It is fed by a catchment area of about 600 km2 and has one outlet only, via the Jafuri and Tami rivers to the Pacific Ocean near the Papua New Guinea border.
