Eligibility: Fresh/ Experienced - Degree/ Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

Key Point of Syllabus


Introduction to:

       Electrical Engineering and role of electrical engineer in industry
       Various phases of projects

Client requirements & collection of specific data for projects

Relevant Standards/Codes, their importance and applications.

Detailed Study of:

       Single line diagram
       Hazardous area classification
       Selection and sizing of electrical equipments used in various projects
       Electrical layouts
       D.C.SYSTEM
       Cable selection & sizing
       Selection of cable laying method

Understanding importance of :

       Data sheet for transformer & motor
       Intra-discipline co-ordination

Basic Design requirement based on the type of various plants.

Design of :

       Earthling system, lightning system & lightning protection system
       Power distribution system
       High voltage system including substation

Preparation of equipment specifications

Study of:

   Specialized Engineering like Heat Tracing systemsPiping layout
   Catholic protection design, Equipment vendor drawing review and approval, Procurement requirements and
   installation standards, Inspection of equipments & system

Site Visit will be arranged at industrial plant either in shut down or not working conditions.

MOC Interview.
Objective

       To develop specialized engineer’s for Oil and Gas Sector
       To exercise the knowledge gained in the parallel Courses in a context

Scope of the Training Program

The individual can perform independently in any type of Engineering Consultancy, Construction Companies, Process
Plants etc.
