Wimba Wednesday: Week 17
  Sra. Odom's NCVPS Spanish II
   Final Exam Review for U6-10
Final Exam: Guidelines
Here are the following Spanish Department
Guidelines as they pertain to the Final Exam:

The final exam is mandatory. No one is exempt.

The final exam must be proctored by school
personnel, if you take the course at school. If you do
not take the course at school, your ELA should let
  me know your arrangements/ proctor.

You must complete all of unit 10 before being given
the password. Your ELA will check that you have
completed all previous assignments (from Week 17
& 18) before giving you the password.)
Final Exam: Guidelines
FYI:

Students in Spanish 2 courses are scheduled to take
the final exam during the week of May 28-31st.
However, I know that some of you will need to finish
earlier, which is fine. The final exam tab is already
open and ready for you when you've have completed
the prerequisites. It will close permanently on Friday
  May 31st at 5 pm.

The final exam is worth 25% of your final grade (with
  Q1=37.5% and Q2=37.5%).
What to Expect on the Final Exam

There are 3 parts to the final exam (A, B & C) that
cover units 6-10. You need to complete all three
parts, as they are all graded to form your “Final
Exam Average” which is 25% of your final grade.

You must review the online textbook link first (in the
Final Exam tab) before being granted access to Part
    A of the final exam.
What to Expect on the Final Exam

Part A is made up of 2 required essay questions to
be written completely in Spanish on major topics that
have been covered. Part A must be completed
before you are able to see/gain access to Part B..
This part is password-protected and must be
    proctored.
What to Expect on the Final Exam

Part B is composed of 34 multiple choice, true/false,
    and fill-in-the-blank questions covering grammar,
culture, language, and listening. This part is
    password-protected and must be proctored.
What to Expect on the Final Exam

Part C is a comprehensive, reflective, and creative
project using a web 2.0 tool of your choice for you to
show what you have learned in the course. There
are visual, audio (speaking), and written components
to the project. Some of the project will be in English
and some in Spanish, so make sure that you
read/follow the directions carefully. This part is not
password-protected and it can be completed
    anytime.
What to Expect on the Final Exam
You are NOT to use anything besides your
brains (no notes, no dictionaries, no
        translators, no people, etc.)
Preparing for/Before the Final Exam
You should:

Complete all of unit 10 to the best of your ability.

Re-read units 6-10 of the online textbook (located in
  the final exam tab) thoroughly.

  Review/study your notes.

Plan ahead and schedule to take the exam as soon
as you can take it (but definitely before Friday May
31st - so if there are any tech issues, I will have time
to identify/fix them before the exam closes).
Preparing for/Before the Final Exam
You should:

Complete any/all of the “Supplemental Activities”
and/or the “SAS” assignments to review the material
  and prepare yourself.

Check your computers to make sure that Java and
Quicktime are updated. You may want to check that
it works by opening a previous assignment.

Make sure that you have plenty of time because you
need to complete each part of the final exam in ONE
  SITTING.
During the Final Exam

You are NOT to use anything besides your brains
(no notes, no dictionaries, no translators, no
    people, etc.).

Please click "save" after each question, so you get
some points in the event that something happens
because there will be NO RESETS.

DO NOT click on anything outside of the final
exam( or have other tabs/windows open) while the
final exam is open because it may cause it to freeze
    and there are NO RESETS.
During the Final Exam

You CANNOT SAVE any part of the final exam and
    come back to it.

If a question messes up, continue with the rest of
the exam, submit as normal, and then let me
know immediately afterward in a BB message.

Take your time, attempt every question, and do your
    best! :-)
After the Final Exam

Check over all of your grades and let me know if there
are any errors. You will need to send me a BB
message indicating the unit and assignment name/s for
any/each assignment.

Complete any/all of the “Supplemental Activities”
and/or the “SAS” assignments to improve your grade if
you haven't already and have time.

Attend/complete any live and/or archived sessions of
the “Culture Cafe” for extra credit if you haven't already
and have time.

ALL work is due to me by 5 pm on May 31st.
After the Final Exam

The course will close permanently on May 31st and you
will not be able to access anything in BB after that.
After that point, if you need me, you'll need to email me
at teryn.odom@ncpublicschools.gov.

If your school/ELA needs your grade/s before I report
them, have him/her send me an email to let me know.

Please let me know if there is ever anything that I can
do to help you and have a great summer! :-)

Wimba wednesday 17 final exam review

  • 1. Wimba Wednesday: Week 17 Sra. Odom's NCVPS Spanish II Final Exam Review for U6-10
  • 2. Final Exam: Guidelines Here are the following Spanish Department Guidelines as they pertain to the Final Exam:  The final exam is mandatory. No one is exempt.  The final exam must be proctored by school personnel, if you take the course at school. If you do not take the course at school, your ELA should let me know your arrangements/ proctor.  You must complete all of unit 10 before being given the password. Your ELA will check that you have completed all previous assignments (from Week 17 & 18) before giving you the password.)
  • 3. Final Exam: Guidelines FYI:  Students in Spanish 2 courses are scheduled to take the final exam during the week of May 28-31st. However, I know that some of you will need to finish earlier, which is fine. The final exam tab is already open and ready for you when you've have completed the prerequisites. It will close permanently on Friday May 31st at 5 pm.  The final exam is worth 25% of your final grade (with Q1=37.5% and Q2=37.5%).
  • 4. What to Expect on the Final Exam  There are 3 parts to the final exam (A, B & C) that cover units 6-10. You need to complete all three parts, as they are all graded to form your “Final Exam Average” which is 25% of your final grade.  You must review the online textbook link first (in the Final Exam tab) before being granted access to Part A of the final exam.
  • 5. What to Expect on the Final Exam  Part A is made up of 2 required essay questions to be written completely in Spanish on major topics that have been covered. Part A must be completed before you are able to see/gain access to Part B.. This part is password-protected and must be proctored.
  • 6. What to Expect on the Final Exam  Part B is composed of 34 multiple choice, true/false, and fill-in-the-blank questions covering grammar, culture, language, and listening. This part is password-protected and must be proctored.
  • 7. What to Expect on the Final Exam  Part C is a comprehensive, reflective, and creative project using a web 2.0 tool of your choice for you to show what you have learned in the course. There are visual, audio (speaking), and written components to the project. Some of the project will be in English and some in Spanish, so make sure that you read/follow the directions carefully. This part is not password-protected and it can be completed anytime.
  • 8. What to Expect on the Final Exam You are NOT to use anything besides your brains (no notes, no dictionaries, no translators, no people, etc.)
  • 9. Preparing for/Before the Final Exam You should:  Complete all of unit 10 to the best of your ability.  Re-read units 6-10 of the online textbook (located in the final exam tab) thoroughly.  Review/study your notes.  Plan ahead and schedule to take the exam as soon as you can take it (but definitely before Friday May 31st - so if there are any tech issues, I will have time to identify/fix them before the exam closes).
  • 10. Preparing for/Before the Final Exam You should:  Complete any/all of the “Supplemental Activities” and/or the “SAS” assignments to review the material and prepare yourself.  Check your computers to make sure that Java and Quicktime are updated. You may want to check that it works by opening a previous assignment.  Make sure that you have plenty of time because you need to complete each part of the final exam in ONE SITTING.
  • 11. During the Final Exam  You are NOT to use anything besides your brains (no notes, no dictionaries, no translators, no people, etc.).  Please click "save" after each question, so you get some points in the event that something happens because there will be NO RESETS.  DO NOT click on anything outside of the final exam( or have other tabs/windows open) while the final exam is open because it may cause it to freeze and there are NO RESETS.
  • 12. During the Final Exam  You CANNOT SAVE any part of the final exam and come back to it.  If a question messes up, continue with the rest of the exam, submit as normal, and then let me know immediately afterward in a BB message.  Take your time, attempt every question, and do your best! :-)
  • 13. After the Final Exam  Check over all of your grades and let me know if there are any errors. You will need to send me a BB message indicating the unit and assignment name/s for any/each assignment.  Complete any/all of the “Supplemental Activities” and/or the “SAS” assignments to improve your grade if you haven't already and have time.  Attend/complete any live and/or archived sessions of the “Culture Cafe” for extra credit if you haven't already and have time.  ALL work is due to me by 5 pm on May 31st.
  • 14. After the Final Exam  The course will close permanently on May 31st and you will not be able to access anything in BB after that. After that point, if you need me, you'll need to email me at teryn.odom@ncpublicschools.gov.  If your school/ELA needs your grade/s before I report them, have him/her send me an email to let me know.  Please let me know if there is ever anything that I can do to help you and have a great summer! :-)
