2. In the book “Origin of Species ”, Darwin argues two main ideas :
 The biological evolution , in which all species descend from a
common ancestor
 And this evolution occurs by “natural selection”
The basic principles of the theory of evolution Charles Darwin presented in The
Origin of Species. They are now almost universally accepted in the scientific world,
although there are some controversies surrounding them.
