Everyday it seems that time is revealing more and more signs of the last days on Earth. There are
many stories, documentaries, scientific analysis, and prophesied happenings unraveling faster
than the news can report them! People across the world arise in the early hours of dawn, only to
hear about more catastrophic events, compiled with a numerous amount of deaths, that occurred
while they were asleep. How many times do you hear about multiple Suicide Bombings, Masses of
people murdered, Children Suffering at the hands of Dictators, Family Members suing each other,
Record Divorce Rates, Increasing numbers of Man-made Disasters, Wars with no end in site,
Plagues with no cure, Women being held in bondage, and Natural Disasters that destroy countless
numbers of lives.
Are all of these signs, the beginning of the end? Is all of this talk about the Apocalypse and
Armageddon a myth? With all of the worlds technological advances, communication systems,
logistical resource allocation, world summit meetings, and charity giving organizations, you would
think that we were better positioned to prevent most of the problems facing us today. As politics,
science, medicine, education, and religion enhance our intelligence, the further away from reality
we seem to get. People who live in the same communities do not know their neighbors. Internet,
Television, Video Games, and Cellular Phones have become the new substitutes for human
socialization. Physical human communication seems almost depleted!
More children than ever are being raised in single-parent homes. Unemployment rates have
achieved historic records. Threats of Terrorism, Biological Warfare, and possible Nuclear
Holocaust flood news headlines almost everyday. Political leaders seem to be more ideological,
divided, and isolated than ever. Where are all of these things leading us to? Can we turn back the
hand of time in order to preserve our future? When is peace going to touch the hearts of the
wretched and save mankind from self-destruction?
There are actions that can be taken to secure our future in civilization, but man has to first commit
himself to replenishing the earth, restoring hope, sharing prosperity, preventing famine, upholding
justice, and giving liberty to those who have known nothing but oppression.
There is still time to change our way of thinking! We are making social progress in our dealings
with other nations facing struggle, secularism, and poverty. However, we should focus more on
strategies that will prevent the destruction of mankind and secure our future generations!
