2.  Kangaroo rats live in habitat variety of
desert niches. These can be open desert
shrub, open grassland , washes, sandy soil
or creosote and flat. New Mexico , Arizona,
northern mexico and Hawaii. They live in
areas of low rainfall and humidity and high
summer temperature and evaporation
rates.

4.  Kangaroo rats eat seeds from a variely
of desert grasses as well as mesquite
bean and some kangaroo rat will green
vegetain and some insect.

8. The kangaroo rat can leap about 54
inches. The kangaroo rat’s tail is very
long. It hunts for food so it could live .
Sometimes kangaroo rats get out of their
burrows . The kangaroo rat has big eyes.
It lives in the desert. Kangaroo rats make
nests or burrows . It has big cheeks .
Kangaroo rats don’t drink a lot of water .
