• Don’t listen to their point of view
• Use prescriptive language –like
‘should’,‘ought’and ‘can’t’.
• Leading and evaluative questions
Pull Behaviour
• Seek information
• Ask question to help the other person
‘rethink’their position
• Build on their suggestions
