Hello, my name is Aldo Zanoni. I am the CEO and Managing Director of Omni Technology Solutions. Omni is hitting a number of milestones this month. We have just completed the fourth leg of a five-leg global trip that includes London, Berlin, Munich and Sunnyvale with the fifth leg of the trip being to Santiago, Chile, November 6. The trip is being held to promote and celebrate the launch of our new German and Chilean offices. This trip also celebrates the launch of Riva Advanced CRM Integration Server for Microsoft Exchange and the release of the multi-language version of eControl in German, Dutch, French, Spanish and Polish. And it's the future of our company and the two products eControl and Riva that I am here to talk to you about today.
These words cause pain in the IT world. These are some of the words that keep CIOs and senior IT staff up late at night. They represent the customer pain that eControl solves.
These are some of the companies that have deployed eControl to solve their pain. These are the customers who have made Omni a profitable and growing company. Over ½ million seats deployed in organisations like the US National Library of Congress and North Carolina State University. In companies like Publicis Group with 50,000 accounts and Luxottica Retail with 70,000 accounts in their network. There is no limit to the vertical markets that eControl serves. Companies absolutely LOVE eControl. Virtually every company that does a 15 or 30-day trial goes ahead with a purchase. As I mentioned, eControl is our number one revenue generator. It is our number one customer satisfaction and customer retention product. It's my understanding that only one of the companies that has bought eControl in the last three years has not renewed support. Companies that deploy eControl have an opportunity to leverage eControl to add significant value to their IT processes. Publicis Group, a global company with 50,000 accounts has been an eControl customer for five years. They recently used eControl to in-source their help desk service from HP. They were paying $80.00 per call and as a result of the in-sourcing of their help desk, they have experienced an immediate return on their eControl investment. We are hoping to do a white paper on the results of their in-sourcing project.
This is the eControl user interface. It's a browser. eControl replaces Microsoft Management Console, Microsoft Task Pads, Novell ConsoleOne, Novell iManager and other legacy account management applications with a Web 2.0 browser-based interface. eControl delivers simplified account management, provisioning, user self-service and audit – from this browser interface. It simplifies the way enterprise networks are managed.
Customers buy eControl because it delivers the Power of Simplicity – across multiple platforms – from a single browser – with all changes being written to an audit log to satisfy even the most demanding security compliance requirements. eControl delivers simplified management for Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange, Novell eDirectory and GroupWise with Domino and Notes coming in 2010. eControl can be deployed in-house, in-the-cloud, as part of an Identity Web 2.0 strategy and as a SaaS model. What makes eControl such a game-changing platform is that it allows administrators to delegate routine tasks to non-technical staff. Why do they want eControl? Because eControl allows them to free up over-burdened IT personnel to be able to focus on high-level strategic IT initiatives: migrations, upgrades, new deployments, virtualisation, compliance requirements and security - not day-to-day clerical tasks. eControl allows administrators to move from using multiple management applications that were designed by engineers for engineers to a simple browser. eControl moves companies away from long-term, complex identity management and provisioning projects to immediate wins.
Who is our competition? IBM Tivoli, Oracle Identity Management, CA Identity Management, Novell IDM, Microsoft Identity Integration Server, Quest Active Roles Management Server, Imamani Group Lifecycle Management and others. Most of our competitors sell complex, legacy-based, “holy grail” solutions that require heavy lifting. eControl can replace these applications or be a complementary front-end to our competitors' products. Our largest German customer, University of Wurzburg manages 20,000 accounts with eControl. They are an Active Directory, Exchange, eDirectory, GroupWise, SAP, PeopleSoft shop with a full Novell IDM deployment as their identity management and cross-system provisioning solution. Whey do they use eControl? eControl sits on top of their existing systems and allows for delegated management that is then processed by Novell IDM to the multiple systems. eControl doesn't try to be everything to everybody. It focuses on what it does best. And it does this better than any other product in the industry. eContol's sweet spot is in any environment that has multiple, cross-platform identity and email systems that exist because of acquisitions, mergers, consolidations or growth. The eControl target market is large and growing. Yes, there will always be a place for the large scale, monolithic, holy-grail solutions. But there is a growing need for eControl's quick, agile and focused implementation. Our competition speaks in terms on months and years for their project implementations. Omni speaks in terms of hours – not even days!
Why else do companies buy eControl? Because eControl delivers on the Top CIO priorities.
But not only does eControl deliver on the top CIO priorities, it appeals to different and multiple levels within an organization.
What is the future of eControl? Providing the same simplified, delegated management, provisioning and user self-service of all of the CRMs and Line-of-Business applications that Riva supports. To the best of our knowledge, there is no other company that provides this service as an out-of-the-box solution. Which leads me to the topic of the next section: Riva Integration Server for Microsoft Exchange.
