2. Meaning of Geospatial
The word spatial originated from Latin 'spatium', which means
space
Since 'geo' is from Greek 'gaya' meaning Earth, geospatial thus
means earth-space
NASA says 'geospatial means the distribution of something in a
geographic sense
3. Open data is data that can be freely used, reused and redistributed
by anyone - subject only, at most, to the requirement to attribute
and share alike.
