3. Relgion Turks are comprised mainly of Islamic followers. Wikepidia estimates that 99.8 percent of Turks are Islamic. Turkey has a history rich in religious movements dating back to the Ottoman Empire.
4. Population Turkey is estimated to have nearly 77 million citizens according to the CIA World Factbook. The general population is mainly comprised of ages between 15-64 being about equally split between men and women. The general life expectancy for men is about 71 years old and 73 years old for females.
