“About the Darfur Dream Team.” Darfur Dream Team - Sisters Schools Program. Enough, 2010. Web.
25 Oct. 2010. <http://www.darfurdreamteam.org/>. The website of Darfur Dream Team provides
information about a relief effort to help refugees from Darfur. This organization helps refugees by
providing them with education. I evaluated this source by finding pages that link to this page. I
discovered that other legitimate organizations that are centered towards helping refugees link to
this page. Additionally, I investigated the organization Enough that is in partnership with the
Darfur Dream Team organization. Through my research, I found that Enough is a real and
ongoing project that is focused on ending genocide and other crimes. This information informed
me of another organization that is trying to resolve the conflicts in Sudan. I now know that there
is an organization focused on helping the victims of the conflicts in Sudan.
Dau, John Bul. God Grew Tired of Us. Washington, DC: National Geographic Society, 2007. Print. This
book is specifically a memoir because it covers the troublesome life of a Lost Boy of Sudan,
written by himself, John Bul Dau. It basically tells the life story of a boy who was caught in the
middle of the Sudanese civil war, and what happens as his life progresses and is introduced to the
United States of America. I evaluated by researching the story of John Bul Dau, and not only is it
obviously a true account, but a personal movie was made starring him and his life progressed. I
can easily trust this memoir to give me the truthful facts. This book definitely enhanced my topic
because not only is my group basing our project from this memoir, but this is a first person
account of a survivor who has witnessed this civil war, and reading about his adventures has put
me in his shoes during his time in Africa.

gale>. The key information I attained from this article was mostly from the Gender and Human
Rights Aspect paragraph of the article. This information allowed me to realize how the people are
being treated and how the war affects them. To evaluate the information, I checked it with outside
sources. After I confirmed the information, I used some of the skills I attained doing Information
Literacy Modules to further asses this article. The information helped me answer my research
question because it pertains to how it is affecting the people. It also led me to more information
on how people’s human rights are being violated.
Inbar, Michael. “George Clooney: We Can Stop Civil War in Sudan.” Today Show. Msnbc, 2010. Web.
25 Oct. 2010. <http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/39629106/ns/today-today_people>. This article
from Msnbc is written by Michael Inbar. Inbar describes George Clooney, an actor, and his
involvement in the resolution of civil war in Sudan. To make sure that this article is a good
source of information, I evaluated the author of the article. When I researched about Michael
Inbar, I discovered that Inbar has written numerous articles for Msnbc with prestigious news
reporters, such as Meredith Vieira. This source provided me with more information on what
actions individuals are making to do help resolve the conflicts in Sudan. This source also gave
me another insight on the current conflicts in Sudan.
17. “Rebuilding Sudan...One Woman at a Time.” Women for Women International: Helping Women
Survivors of War Rebuild Their Lives. N.p., n.d. Web. 25 Oct. 2010.
sudan.php>. This website describes an organization that is helping women refugees to
build a better life through education. I evaluated this source by finding all of the pages
that link to this website. I discovered that other real organizations that are helping
women refugees links to this site. The information from this site brings me more
information on what people are trying to do to help the conflicts in Sudan. I now know
that there are legitimate organizations that are helping refugees in Sudan.
