17. PROTOTYPERS
The future rests in your hands. Over the
next 60 minutes you need to come up
with a solution that will grant our wish.
The wish should embrace the present and
the future. Since time is short you must
always be using your hands while talking -
writing, building...
20. STORYTELLERS
You’re going to create a story that can be shared with
future generations that is intended to bring the “wish” to
life. The story must have a beginning, middle and end. It
will have a protagonist and an antagonist. There will be
conflict and supporting characters.
Weave the prototype that's being developed into your
story, as a turning point or solution to the heroes' problem.
Your protagonist must have an arc, so that we can see how
the story changes them. Your story must include a time
capsule and and leave room to be continued.
31. 1. Start whimsical to imagine a future state.

3. What is the goal and why does it require everyone?
4. Creativity often rests at the edge of failure.
5. E.D.I.T
Empathy: bring the collective intelligence to the surface
Define: determine what your design question is (how could…)
Ideate: brainstorm about multiple solutions
Test: put your prototype into a story and experiment
32. 6. Be willing to rapidly adapt to change.
7. The What, How and Why…
What do you do?
How do you do it?
Why do you do it?
8. Set time constraints.
9. Break people into groups. Get various perspectives.
33. 10. Bring everyone together for recaps and to set goals.
11. Make it tactile.
12. Reward often.
13. Have fun.
14. Share your results.
