3. WHAT IS CSR? It is a doctrine that claims that an entity whether it is State, government, corporation, organization or individual has a responsibility to society.
4. Why should a company follow CSR? There are many factors like : The pressure of the labour movement. The development of moral values and social standards, The development of business education, The development of a professional managerial class with different motivation and point of view due to the separation of ownership from management in the corporate enterprise, The change in public opinion about the role of business
5. Who are stakeholders? All those who have direct or indirect benefit from the company are all called stake holders. Important stakeholders are : 1. suppliers 2. customers 3. employees 4. financiers 5. government
6. What are the objectives of a business? A business has multiple objectives to achieve. These objectives are as under : 1. survival and growth 2. profitability 3. equitable distribution 4. Innovations These objectives cant be achieved without CSR
7. Why should a business fulfill social responsibility ? Public image Consumer movement Government requirements Investor's educationn tax benefits Better relations with Stake holders Employee satisfaction & sense of pride
8. How to fulfill responsibility towards customers? Give proper and authontic information and give them quality goods innovate and develope superior products give customers education, support and guidance
9. How to fulfill responsibility towards suppliers? Give them timely payments give them information about changing trends in the market so that they may develop themselves establish long term relations with the suppliers
10. How to fulfill responsibility towards employees? Give them a great place to work enable them the undertake what they want to do enable them to be creative, autonomous, and a leader in one's own sector fulfill their expectations in terms salary, growth, learning, development, promotions etc.
