1. Avison Young Adds Three New Principals in Dallas
Avison Young has recruited the office brokerage team of Chuck Sellers, Dale Ray and Grant Sumner
to lead the firm's new office agency leasing services platform in Dallas.
The three former Peloton Commercial Real Estate execs were named principals at Avison Young
where they will represent investors, developers, landlords and tenants in office leasing negotiations
across the Dallas/Fort Worth MSA.
"One of our primary goals here in Avison Young's Dallas office was to build out our agency leasing
team, and we've done that in a monumental way by welcoming Chuck, Dale and Grant to our firm,"
said Greg Langston, principal and managing director of Avison Young's Dallas office. "They will be
'game-changers' for us here in Dallas and throughout Texas, especially with all of the consolidation
taking place in the office market."
Sellers, Ray and Sumner have extensive experience in negotiating significant office lease
transactions, such as Epsilon's 253,000-square-foot deal in Las Colinas and representing Duke
Realty in negotiations with Conifer on a 196,000-square-foot lease. Additional previous clients
include American Home Mortgage, Toyota, Children's Hospital, Southwest Airlines and PepsiCo.
"The three of us have formed an effective partnership over the years, and now we will have a much
broader range of resources available to serve office clients on a local, national and international
basis," said Sellers. "We're looking forward to building a strong agency leasing team in Dallas and
