Completion of Your Certificate

Your undergraduate certificate will be awarded upon successful comple-
tion of the required coursework. At the beginning of the term that
you plan to finish the coursework required for your certificate, you
should submit the certificate application along with the $50 nonrefund-
able fee. Application deadlines are listed on the UMUC Web site at
www.umuc.edu/calendar. The certificate application form is available
online via MyUMUC.

When you submit the certificate application, you should notify your
advisor of your intention to complete your certificate. If you are working
toward a degree at the same time, you must apply for the certificate
before you graduate. Once completed and approved, your certificate will
be mailed to you and your transcript will be updated to reflect comple-
tion of your certificate.
