Live by your values – integrated the values of each part of his life into one that made it easier and easier for him to make decisions about how to contribute to the community, how to involve his family, and how to run his business. He lived and made decisions by his valuesIt’s not going to be easy – he constantly had to work to integrate the four domains, but it can be done. He almost sold the business – but realized that it wasn’t in line with what he wanted and what he valued. He didn’t want the money, he wanted to be able to run his business accordingly to his values, and that was more important than $120mm. Actively seeking guidance – constantly talked about the importance of talking with his family and his friends, and how they were guiding posts in making sure he followed the right decisions.
